  1. After building the Gaz 66 truck, I went for a slightly longer truck, an 8x8. I tried to replicate the Finnish military truck Sisu E11T just because the wheelbase is long enough, the bodywork is definitely not very accurate though. The length of the u-joints would make it very hard to make it shorter with this design. Axles 1 and 2 are pretty much the same as the front axle of the Gaz, but this one uses 4 19L flex axles for leaf springs, because 8 shorter flex axles would not fit. Features 8wd with 1 L motor 4 wheel steering with an M motor 4 leaf sprung live axles Video: Suspension test: LDD file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3uQRNR6UbBWeU5tc0lDU2ZGQTQ/view?usp=sharing
  2. I thought of something similar, but this one takes only one stud away, it´s a nice idea though.
  3. I have made an LDD file if anyone is interested: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3uQRNR6UbBWeU5tc0lDU2ZGQTQ/view?usp=sharing
  4. I don't like it either, but I couldn't make it any shorter because of the u-joints
  5. Thank you! And the wheelbase should actually be like this, almost all live axle 8x8 trucks have it set up like this
  6. Yes, it might seem fast building, but the chassis is very similar to my other, slightly bigger truck, so I used very similar technicues. Thnx for building it and telling me what you think! I may also try to make it with a servo, but the gears are problematic, maybe the Sbrick can solve it somehow.
  7. Hi! This is a new chassis I have built, it features: 8 wheel drive by an XL motor 4 wheel steering by an M motor 4 live axles I willl put a winch on it still (any other ideas?). The performance of this thing impressed me a little, because I have only seen 8x8s with 2 XLs or more, so I wasn't sure if it would have enough power. The body will be of the russian Kamaz 6450 truck. I will make an LDD file of this too.
  8. I know it is much lighter than other trucks right now, but I'll try to build the body so light that the motor can handle it
  9. Hi! Since I started to play Spintires I have wanted to build the Ural 4320 truck. I just added an extra axle to my mini rock crawler (http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=107051&hl=), to make it fit the proportions almost perfectly. I haven't started building the body yet, which I may need some help with
  10. Hi! I have abandoned this particular chassis because of the following problems: 1. power/torque 2. suspension flex in the rear axles 3. weak steering So I have started building a new chassis solving these problems. I haven´t decided if I should use an XL or 2 L motors yet though. Linked rear live axles Rack and pinion steering
  11. Hello! This is an idea that I haven´t seen before, and wanted to share. It is the 81.6 x 38 balloon tires stretched on the unimog rim. They are 10 studs in diameter and 5 studs wide. The tires will stretch and become unusable on the normal rim after some time!
  12. -4x4 -Live axles with panhard rods -M motor for steering -L motor for drive (geared 1/5) I wanted to build a truck, that would be as light as possible, but a full pickup body would have weighed it down (I have tried it). So I built half of a pickup without doors, which works very well. I originally wanted to use the smaller tires, but now in winter it performs much better in the snow with the balloon tires. What do you think that looks better? Inspiration:

  15. Alright, I will do that this afternoon
  16. I think an sbrick could fit in there, but I cant't use it right now. The L motors wire is too short for it to go behind it
  17. The snow has finally melted here now, so I made a simple stand for my phone and took a better video (I think) than the last one. I also shortened the body by a stud in the front to improve the looks of it. I have an LDD file, but can I put the file straight into here?

  19. So, here's the video of it: Sadly, I had to use the IR system to be able to film it.
  20. Thanks! Yes, there is a bit, but it is still perfectly drive-able
  21. A small 4x4 chassis with live axles. L motor for drive (geared 12:20) and micromotor for steering. I haven´t been able to make an ok body design, so that is why there isn´t one
  22. An L or M motor could probably be used, but getting it compact would be very hard. I haven't figured out how to change the rotation on the android app either, otherwise it's great.
  23. The gears themselves dont slip, but the micromotor pulley slips a lot There's no way you can fit a differential in there...
