    Storage and Sorting LEGO

Can I ask what brand these are/where you got them? Thanks!

Strangely enough I will be moving to the east coast of the USA soon, though I'm not sure how I feel about it. I will be able to have more Lego stuff around the apartment though, so that will be good!

That is really awesome, though unfortunately not super portable/discreet - my mom is not particularly a fan of toys/games/Lego stuff being shown off around the house. I love how you are able to label each franchise though, it looks great!

    LEGO Dimensions Discussion

Question: How does everyone store their Dimensions figures and mini builds so they are both accessible for playing with and in some sort of order/organization? I've been using these: http://sterilite.com/SelectProduct.html?id=831&ProductCategory=274&section=1 But they've gotten to be a little unwieldily and disorganized the more different types of sets we get for Dimensions. Any suggestions?

I'd love a team pack with Sara Jane Smith and Luke. Mr. Smith could be one of the items that comes with it. We already have K-9, so I'm not sure what the vehicle would be.

Lloyd does come out in the 5th wave - which I'm looking forward to because I like the dragons. Bane is kind of nice. We haven't had a real Bane figure since 2013 (not including the short leg one from the micro fighters). Slimer is also kind of cool - something we haven't had before except in the huge Ghostbusters set. I'm actually still looking forward to the fifth wave and beyond.

    Bricks & Pieces

When I spoke with customer service regarding a different issue, they said that they had closed bricks and pieces until their piece division got caught back up with all of the missing/broken piece issues from the holiday rush. Hopefully they'll be back up for purchasing in February.

    Changing How I Build

Alternatively, you could let yourself look through the instruction book once and then build from memory - could even add a "phone a friend" feature where someone gets to look up part of the instructions and describe to you what needs to go where. (Nah, that's kind of silly :D ) I'm fond of the dump everything in a pile and build from there, but if you'd like to prolong your building experience, bricklinking larger sets can certainly do that. I just finished Bricklinking R2-D2 (the ~2000 piece UCS one) and it took close to a month between digging through parts that I already had, making bits that I could as pieces arrived in the mail, and then searching everywhere for things I was "sure" I had and then having to make another bricklink order. It was fun! (Actually, it really was fun, no matter how sarcastic that sounds.) I've also found that I'm much more willing to say "Nah, I want to do it this way instead" when I'm Bricklinking sets and making modifications to designs that Lego has made.

    Lego Elves 2016

Oh!! Okay, that makes sense! Thanks for letting us know!

    Lego Elves 2016

Why would Skyra have an Earth dragon though if she's a wind elf? (or at least I think she's a wind elf because she has a sky castle?)

    Which set should I buy?

I was having the same problem but I got lucky and found it at Target yesterday (I'm in Utah, but I'm not sure if they have Target where you are at). I'd go for the whole set. I got and built it yesterday, and it's a pretty nice build and it has a lot of dark red.

What 2016 Themes/Sets Are You Most Hyped For?

Elves (dragons!!!), Brick Bank, some of the Avengers: Civil Wars line (new Falcon figure!), and the new Minecraft set that has all the dark red pieces.

What was your first lego set?

I think my very first set would have been http://brickset.com/sets/6416-1/Poolside-Paradise I would have been seven years old at the time, which sounds about right to my memory. The things I remember most are "drowning" the minifigs in the pool, and having a hard time getting the spiral stars to connect to the top level without breaking the first level. I loved the parrot.
