I found out about the contest a little bit late, but was hoping to submit my entry by 6 AM like it said on the IDEAS page. However, whenever my renders were done, it was already locked, even though it was before 6 AM EST. I’m very disappointed by it, but it’s not going to stop me from sharing! I had to make do with what I had, such as Studio and LDD not having the new Stranger Things parts and prints yet. I also couldn’t find a suitable face for Steve, so I went with a generic one. Enjoy!

Jurassic World 2019 - Rumours, Speculation & Discussion

I for one love this set. It’s rare that we get a brick built dinosaur that also looks accurate. So many new pieces in new colors, too! I feel like you guys overhyped yourselves and let yourselves down. -
Not from what I've seen, unless there's a completely new and different place to look at leaks besides being usual

Where did you see the picture at?? I’ve looked around in all the obvious places but they’re not there

Worlds largest steam locomotive is back! Big Boy 4014 hits the main line
legonerd54321 replied to 1963maniac's topic in LEGO Train Tech
I chased her from Cheyenne to Rawlins, Wyoming whenever she left for the Great Race to Ogden. Probably the best time of my life, ever. There’s so many people that you meet along the way and it just feels so good to see so many people with the same passion as you. -
I honestly think the Disney train will come with the locomotive/tender, 3-4 passenger cars and will come with a detailed Main Street station, along with tracks. The part count seems too high just for a train alone, and the price alludes to the addition of track

LEGO Ideas Discussion

I’m surprised the Dinosaur fossils won above the playable piano... a surprise to be sure, but a welcome one! -
Man, seeing all these pictures is making me have a hard time choosing between this or the Big Boy to purchase It all depends on what I can save up! I’m not gonna purchase everything in bulk, it’ll span over a few months before I acquire all the parts

I... actually really like this! I love the art style and the shading of it, the oddball humor just like the LEGO Movies, and so much more! This looks really hopeful!

Now Available At Brick Train Depot 1:48 Scale Union Pacific 4-8-8-4 Big Boy!!
legonerd54321 replied to Freezingvettes99's topic in LEGO Train Tech
So the purchase of the instructions is just the instructions and decals, no wheels/rods/etc?? -
Do you mind telling me the difference between the two locomotives?? I'm trying to see a difference between them (other than the obvious) and both think they look amazing, how does the Disneyland one look like concept art??

It's now being rumored that set number '71044' is a "Disney Train," presumably based off the train found in Disneyland. Or maybe the monorail? It has a hefty rumored price tag of $320

The Lego Movie 2 - The Second Part 2019 Set Discussion

Isn't there like 3 more sets to be revealed for the summer wave, though?? -
Have you guys thought about making trackside structures, such as signals/stations/etc?? I feel like that could fill in a niche area where most LEGO modelers don't ever think about. Also, maybe put in a suggestion/guess of how much it the parts will cost on Bricklink based off of past purchases??

LCU movies bundled with LEGO Dimensions minifigures
legonerd54321 replied to Blondie-Wan's topic in LEGO Media and Gaming
The bundle was at the same time as the art sleeves, as both were to promote The LEGO Movie 2. All three movies were sold separately with the bundle of minifigures, or you could have bought a pack of all three movies with the same minifigures. -

There was Beetlejuice, Scooby Doo, Harry Potter, and other LEGO obtained IPs within the rack. I'll go there tonight and see if it's still there -

I've had them at my local Walmart for the past month, I had no idea people are just now seeing them! They were with the LEGO-ified covers of famous WB movies -
Ah, if you put in Frisco items you have my attention! Just kidding, I'm very much interested in purchasing something from this website when my next paycheck! Great work, guys!

LDD for mobile devices?
legonerd54321 posted a topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
It could be a huge step-up for LDD designers. Think about it. Being able to edit or even create new projects on the go! How will you be able you to change youeyour current projects, though? With a LDD account. You log in with your account on your mobile device, and your library of projects would be there. Should this be a thing? Or will it not work? It may not work with small phones, with it being hard to place it exact and choosing the parts, etc etc. -
Most people questioned on how they would incorporate a train station into a modular. But.. I think this is ideally how to do it.

Press Release: Creator Expert 10269 Harley-Davidson Fat Boy
legonerd54321 replied to Vilhelm22's topic in Special LEGO Themes
Am I the only one that thinks they missed a great opportunity with trains this year?? We got the 150th anniversary of the Transcontinental Railroad in the USA, along with the restoration with the 4014 Big Boy, who will be making the trek to Utah with the 844 this spring. I feel like they could've made those, or either the Jupiter or No. 119.- 129 replies

Im expecting 70849 to be the Sistar-System variant of Metalbeard, plus a small side-build of the spa along with some other Sistar-System variants. -
I guess we'll have to see the numbers for overseas whenever it opens in April I was hoping for a Venom-like turnout, where good of word made the box office results increase with each week, but with HTTYD coming out next week.. it's not looking likely.

Somebody pointed out in the Hidden Sides thread that the set is priced much higher than the "Bus" set, even though it only has 9 more pieces than it. Could this possibly come with track?

Has there been pictures of the train????
