Review 7780 The Batboat: Hunt for Killer Croc
1eyedjoker replied to The Penguin's topic in LEGO Licensed
I'm not crazy about this set. All I'd really like from it is the Killer Croc minifig, the toothy grin and red eyes do well to capture the character's vicious animal nature. -
Review: 7779 The Batman Dragster: Catwoman Pursuit
1eyedjoker replied to The Penguin's topic in LEGO Licensed
The Catwoman minifig is just great. Reminds me of how Jim Lee drew her in Hush. Very beautiful and very dangerous. The comics on the back of the Lego Batman boxes were fantastic. They were fun little stories, I wish there was a printed collection of them. Prices are crazy right now, but you are correct. If you want a Lego Batman set purchase it now cause prices will only go up. The only hope for those not willing to pay exorbitant prices is if they revive the license for the new film in 2012. Even that is a long shot, since Lego seems to be producing sets from Disney now instead of WB. Anyway, really enjoyed the review. Will you be doing more Lego Batman reviews in the future? -
Can you pay for lego on Bricklink with a money order? Or does it depend on who you're purchasing from?

Because I love the bounty hunters from Empire, I would greatly welcome minifigs of Zuckuss and 4-LOM. Durge would also be cool. Sintas Vel would be a dream come true, especially if she came in a set recreating a scene from Outbid But Never Outgunned. 1. Sintas Vel 2. Zuckuss 3. 4-LOM 4. Durge I also wouldn't mind some Death Troopers.

Loved the first game, really looking forward to the sequel. I hope, hope, HOPE, that this game will give enough cause for those at Lego to release some new sets. I've been out of the Lego game for a while now and unfortunately missed the whole Lego Batman license.

This set would be awesome. I'm a big fan of the bounty hunters from Empire, Zuckuss and 4-LOM are high on my wish list for minifigs.

Nice review, very funny. This is a set I'll be picking up mostly for the General Grievous minifig and his sweet swivel chair.

I used to buy Lego a lot when I was younger, but just as they were coming out with Lego Star Wars I stopped buying them all together. I was able to pick up a few small sets, but I've since lost them along with all my other Lego's. Just recently I came across an ad for a new Lego Slave I and that re-ignited my passion for Lego.

Great to see the pic now. Those Mandos look great, love the speeder but I'm on the fence about the turret. Jetpacks and flesh heads are a big thumbs up in my book. Definitely a purchase for me.

This could be possibility with the upcoming movies and television series, I would love to see some lego based on the Dark Tower series. Gunslingers, mutants, wizards, and more - it would make for some excellent sets.. And I too would like to see Lord of the Rings lego, maybe some will be released when The Hobbit finally gets made.

Zombie and vaudoo priest Cube-dude.

Really cool looking zombie. It's fantastic! Mind if I ask what you used for the eyebrows? -
Maybe the one on the speeder isn't wearing a jetpack because there is no room for it when riding the bike. I hope there are enough jetpacks for all of them.
-
Great pic, so happy to see it. Good news that at least 2 mandos have jetpacks. The speeder's pretty sleek, should be a fun little item. Definitely going to purchase this one.

I'm in the same boat as you. I love Boba Fett, and seeing a new Slave I rekindled my passion for lego. Bossk was an added bonus, "You've just been Bossked!" Some people seem to be complaining that this is too similar to the last Slave I set, but for those of us who don't have it lego 8097 is a godsend.

I would love to have a lego Chrysler Building. The crown is beautiful and the gargoyles would make nice little figs. Personally, I've always seen it as New York's coolest skyscraper.

Greetings! My name is 1eyedjoker. I loved lego when I was younger. I used to purchase tons of sets and received many others as gifts. But after a series of moves and general growing up, me and lego fell out of touch. With my recent purchase of the new Slave I, I have a renewed interest in lego. I can't wait to get more sets. My name is 1eyedjoker. And I love lego.

I would love to see minifigs of Durge (the battle with Obi-Wan on the speeder bikes would make an awesome set) and Pre Vizsla.

Yeah Brooklyn! Good to see another new member from Brooklyn.
