I really liked the coaxial rotor design. Maybe it ultimately proved too complex for an actual set? -

From your new avatar, is the school your new favourite set? -
Well, I had guessed Nirvana for #1, because of the left handed guitar.

Aedelsten? Where does that name actually come from?

This is an unusual looking fire engine. What did you base it on?

I used to crash my Lego planes all the time, by dropping them! Some of my old wing pieces are dented. For a more realistic emergency, I would add fire pieces to the new family house, with the family still inside! -
You could always say that it was a model year change. And that the released version was another model year. Did you try to persuade TLG that the new piece might work in the product?

I am going to try out the new roads. I know base plates might have looked better, especially in huge catalogue dioramas. But I never had the space to make a permanent town scene with them. These new plates should be better for temporary displays. As for the slightly narrower roads, perhaps because they still work in multiples of 8, they certainly don't look as narrow as the roads on last year's Advent calendar. My first haul of 2021 sets arrived today, along with a 2020 set, a free car, an Xtra bag, and three new CMFs, none of whom were actually on my wanted list -
