Thrust Ball Bearing

The idea seems good, as long as each little wheel is not in contact with the previous and the next one.- 13 replies

L vs XL Motor and Servo Motor for RC Car Model?
oracid replied to ARXD's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I agree, but here it is with integrated motor speed reducer in output. I'm sure you're right, but I still do not understand. That is my problem. Anyway, thank you for your explanation, I take good notes. -
L vs XL Motor and Servo Motor for RC Car Model?
oracid replied to ARXD's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Do you mean that any differences in speed of the two motors can break the gears? One can quite easily turn the axis motors XL, so I thought reciprocal attenuation solved this problem.. I feel that your two solutions are equivalent. -
L vs XL Motor and Servo Motor for RC Car Model?
oracid replied to ARXD's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
The question I ask myself, regardless of the power problems, is it dangerous for the internal gears of the motors to couple two motors XL to double the power of an specific action ? -

L vs XL Motor and Servo Motor for RC Car Model?
oracid replied to ARXD's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
This interests me a lot ! Regardless of the differential problem, do you think it is not advisable to couple two motors XL, powered from the same battery? -

New Track Rubbers Test
oracid replied to KirTech LAB's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I know this stuff, but it's too expensive for the size of my tank. Today, I study non Lego solutions. I advance a bit by eliminating solutions ... It is true that my goal is to climb stairs, not to make a copy of a battle tank. My tank is 1m long. Of course, I will present it here when it's finished. -

Thank you for sharing. I do not find the reference of this rubber on Lego shop, can you give it to us please ? Unfortunately, the 14149 of the set 45560 is really expensive. -

Rendering/Animating Lego Ldraw models with Blender

Rendering/Animating Lego Ldraw models with Blender
oracid replied to Tommy Styrvoky's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
A great thanks to you. For occasional use, I find that Blender is very complicated. This is software that requires a large time investment. I watched the video in accelerate. My understanding of English is not very good, too bad you did not put subtitles. If one day I was using this software, your video would certainly be very precious. -

MINDSTORMS TANK : Holds up to 80KG
oracid replied to Burf2000's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
I presume that the child should be about 20 or 25 kg. How have you estimated the number of necessary servos. I see that there are 14, it's a lot! In my work, here http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=110051&hl=oracid#entry2230918 ,I demonstrate that with a single motor XL, I can move 8 kg. In fact, I tested with large bottles and it is 12 kg. By the following realization, http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=117220&hl=oracid#entry2384354 , I realize that the servos lost their position when the torque is too high, which slows them a lot, for this reason I used the XL motor. Nevertheless, I like your achievement, myself, I'm trying to make a 1m tank, but for now, I do not know where I'm going. Therefore, what you are doing really interests me.- 15 replies
