    [MOD] Sesame Street

I added another window on the second floor. I also moved Oscar to the right and added Big Bird's doors. The original, for comparison: More pics of the mod. I also added some kids to give the set a bit more life.

    [MOC] Starro - DC Comics

When I saw that the Nexogons came in this blue color, I could only think of Starro. I have to give credit to the website New Elementary for their articles about the Nexogons. They were a great source of inspiration.
  5. I'm working on an MOC and I was a bit shocked to see the price of the existing 1x1 black tiles printed with letters. I see that there are also 1x1 round bricks printed with the alphabet. Are there any other options for getting small pieces printed with letters? I looked into custom printed stickers, but I couldn't find any place that does that. I'm not too interested in messing around with printing my own stickers. Any suggestions? Thanks for any help!

    Alphabet pieces, printed or stickers?

Thanks for the replies. Vinyl lettering seems great. That would allow me to use different color tiles. I also found these listings on Brcklink. They're for 2x2, but could prove useful down the line. 40360 https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=40360stk01&name=Sticker Sheet for Gear 40360 - (50421/6257521)&category=[Sticker Sheet]#T=C&C=0 This sheet comes in three colors, but I don't know how it was available. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?G=6312574e&name=Sticker Sheet, Friends Alphabet - Dark Pink&category=[Sticker Sheet][Friends]#T=S&O={"ss":"US","iconly":0} Here on Eurobricks, one poster mentioned wanting to see some Dots letters and I would be thrilled if that happened.

    Bricklink questions

Re: minifig torso complete assembly. Does it seem Bricklink is splitting this category into plain and decorated? Right now, the standard category has 4000+ items and the "decorated" category has only about 400 listings. Interesting change.

    Bleaching?

Does anybody know how to make pieces white without painting? I’m looking at a particular hair piece that I would love in white, but it doesn’t come in that color. If I start with a tan version, can I bleach it? Thanks for any help.

    [MOC] Shazam

Thanks! I first learned about Ibis and Taia last year when I read some of the '90s Shazam comics. I was thrilled to see the Ibistick tucked away in the Rock of Eternity in the new movie.

DC Superheroes 2018 - Set Discussion

Is this a serious comment? This is the company that’s been using the same human mold for 40 years. But using the same dog body twice is lazy? Do you even Lego, bro?

    [MOD] My Clayface mods

I do not like the duck lips and frog eyes of the official build. I'm not 100% satisfied with my solution, but I probably won't chance it any more than I already have.

    LEGO Ideas Discussion

Yes, I see a lot of false-equivalency floating around. Male-dominated sets for decades, but the moment there are two sets with only women figs, people bow their tops.

    Doctor Who General Discussion

Here's a silly question. What existing Lego sets can be used to represent locations that the Doctor has visited? Obviously, he can go anywhere in time and space, so the options are nearly unlimited. But I was wondering if anyone had specific ideas. There's not really much of a selection of Victorian England Lego sets ha ha.
  20. Are there any pieces that fit into the wrist hole, or fit snugly around the wrist stump? I'm looking for ways to make different hand replacements (like attaching Hulk's big hand to Martian Manhunter's wrist).

    Hello

Hi. I played with Legos as a kid, but as I got older, I left them behind. I did become a collector, but not of Legos. My primary collecting interests are action figures (mainly Transformers and Star Wars.) I met my boyfriend six years ago, and he is super into Legos. Over the past few years, I have been creeping closer and closer to Lego, thanks to my bf's influence. We bought the Death Star together. I picked up Ewok Village last year. And then the Lego Movie came out, and now I'm knee-deep in Legos of my own. It's hard to believe that six years ago, the only set I owned was the Lego Cameraman (1357), a 20 piece set. Another fun note: a couple years ago, my mother was cleaning out the basement and offered my boyfriend all of the old Legos my older brothers and I used to play with. I saw tons of random pieces in plastic boxes, but he figured out where they came from, and we rebuilt all of the old sets! He's a big Lego Space fan, and there was even some Space stuff that he didn't have. So anyway, over the past year, I've built a few The Lego Movie-themed creations, and I was wondering what the best sub-forum is to post photos of that stuff. Thanks!
