LEGO's Twitter officially announced the theme just now.

People try and protest anything. That One Million Moms group tried to get that Muppet Show that was on a year ago banned because Kermit was nude. No, I'm not kidding on this.

I've mainly been playing Pokemon Moon and Best Fiends Forever. Both great games, but I need to start up Yo-kai Watch 2 as well, got that for Christmas and never played it yet.

Saw Moana today and Fantastic Beasts a couple days ago, both were amazing.

I've done quite a bunch of drawing-only ones, thought a few people have done LDD-based ones.

Saw the Yo-Kai Watch Movie in theaters for one of those Fathom Events. Had tons of fun with it...but did NOT expect my brother to be enjoying it as much as he did. XD

Ooh, that looks great! I didn't expect Jeremy to end up as a minifigure, and I love the use of giving them props from the ending. ^_^

I recently picked up the most recent issue of Yotsuba&!. This series is so adorable and happy. XD

Recently got sucked into the My Singing Monsters games, these things are fun, and I've been able to avoid the lure of microtransactions. XD

Welp, there's an eBay listing up for Series 9 now, so I guess searching is fair game now?

On a plus side, the website updated for Series 9. So far no instructions on the website yet.

Really bummed on the end of Mixels, it's what brought me back into LEGO...though, we DID get 81 sets out of this, which isn't too shabby at the same time. Just hope the show's able to end on a high note, that's the neglected part of the series. XP

Yeah, it's the LEGO/CN thing that's getting it iffy...since CN also has to design the bags for the franchise, they create the static art.

Well, we DID get proof that this upcoming episode WILL be the last one...so I guess that says the same for the theme in general, too?

I gotta ask...how trustful is the LEGO Facebook on stuff like this? Is it pretty much PR stuff? Since someone sent in something that they responded it "won't be ending anytime soon", while we still have S9 to go...so should the LEGO Facebook be taken with a grain of salt on the truth?

The bit with the cartoon isn't LEGO's fault, though. That's all the fault of CN, since they're fully on the animation half of the team-up, which is a real shame, because it was only now showing the best potential with the longer episodes.

I think a lot of the catalogs on the 2016 end have been omitting Mixels for some reason? Like, a few still have them, and show off the remainder 2016 Mixels? Like, here's the Australian catalog, and they have the 2016 Mixels. It all seems to depend on the catalog, a lot have been missing Mixels for some reason, but some do have the 2016 ones?

I'd say Toy Fair SHOULD end up being the telling for whether we get info or not, shame that's not until next year, though.

Welp, Comic-Con gave us no news on Mixels' fate (then again, there really wasn't any LEGO news on some existing themes around), but we still have S9 and the special later this year...so, really hope something comes out of Mixels...

Saw Finding Dory today. Was adorable and funny, I cried a lot, but I loved it. XD

Just wondering...any Moose Toys collectors out there? I only started last year...and I love the stuff they come out with. I had to eBay it to get Trash Pack (my fave), but I still love the Shopkins, too. And I was SO pleased to see that Toys R Us just started Grossery Gang up early: So, any other Moose Toy fans? What do you collect from these guys?

I've yet to own the game, but there are a few series that are really "wants" for me: Mixels Considering all the other LEGO-originators coming in, I'd love Mixels. Flain would be the obvious choice, with maybe Seismo or Volectro as well. Vehicles are the tricky one (unless you go with a Nixel one), and Cubits or the Bonflower defense stations from Calling All Mixels could make for good weapons. Wacky Races I mean, considering the Hanna-Barbera stuff in it already, it's set for a new series apparently, and there's that gritty comic already, it seems obvious. Vehicles are obvious there, too. Character-wise, either Dick Dastardly and Muttley, or Penelope Pitstop, would be the best choices...weapons are a bit limited in options, though. Yellow Submarine Yes, this is coming straight from the announcement of the LEGO Ideas set...but I'm a sucker for Beatles, especially this movie. Character could be really any of the Beatles or Jeremy (Ringo WOULD be the obvious one, though), the vehicle is obvious, and weapons are a bit limited, unless you go with the Blue Meanie weaponry, too.
