Woah, calm down. It was just some imaginative thinking(which is kinda what we do in the forums) and there is certainly some potential for fusions. The blade pieces on Quake Beast's back could be part of Uxar's wings, Storm Beast would have gotten the humanoid proportions form Melum and the tail from Akida and Lava Beast very much looks like a mutation of Ikir, the only thing linking Ketar in this instance would be the name and implied elemental combination. I think they could be combined mutations, but it really doesn't matter that much to me I was simply pointing out the possibility.Awesome, some better pictures! They look pretty great. The prelims, as usual, leave something to be desired but these look fantastic.

The character videos are fantastic, I can't wait for the show to be released! I really like the character designs and the environments look vibrant and colorful, I like it. Now if only we got an official video game in that style...(not the app) I could see it being made by Platinum Games, what with the cell shading and such.

I think the beasts are mutated fusions of 2 creatures. Lava Beast is Ikir and Ketar, Quake Beast is Terak and Uxar, and Storm Beast is Akida and Melum. Also, is anyone else getting a Rancor vibe from the Destroyer? The more I look at these sets the more I like them, even better than the Skull gang from last year, they look pretty great, especially Umarak's Uber form, so big and menacing! Ekimu is now the G2 Takanuva I guess, he's growing on me too but he's still a bit of a let down considering his only new piece is the crystal piece on his hammer and the color scheme is still unbalanced. Hopefully torso printing will help distribute more gold to the color scheme.

Yeah these look pretty great, it's disappointing but not unexpected that we didn't get trans yellow. The beasts are growing on me and I like how big Umarak the Destroyer is and he looks great. It's a little disappointing that the corrupted Toa masks are blended with their normal colors rather than silver like the prelims

So have I, I'm a die hard Ghost Rider fan, I collect comics, action figures, statues, you name it. He looks fantastic!!! The bike looks sweet, although I feel like it needs some stickers or something and it might look a little better with silver rims, the little section of street is actually quite nice. Hobgoblin looks good but his glider is a bit blocky, I like Green Goblin's glider better. It's odd that Hobgoblin's pumpkin bombs don't use the Ghost Rider piece that Green Goblin's use, but not a big deal. -

I did and it's probably the most detailed, incredible looking minifig I've ever seen. An extraordinary figure for sure. It looks great next to all of my other Iron Man minifigs. -

The bridge set looks messier than described but still very good. I like the new minifigs present and I'm glad LEGO has opted for more classic comic-based looks rather than based off of the show as those are much more sought after and they know it. I really like the new flame head piece and I am so psyched to see the Ghost Rider set and I'm glad I'm not the only one. The new webshot piece is pretty cool and I can see it being really useful for moccing, especially if it ever comes out in silver for use on top of towers and things. I'm not sure if I'll be able to swing(heheh) getting this set but I'll sure try for Christmas or something. -

So Ghost Rider and his bike should be in the game since he's getting his own set this year, right? At the very least dlc. Heck, Spider-Man hasn't even been confirmed but I mean, he's gotta be in it too. Oh, and think of all the great Spidy villains and variants we could get thanks to the new sets! Also, I'm a little late to the party on this one but I miss vehicle levels and I feel like vehicles are almost pointless now, especially since there are flying and superspeed characters just to move around hubs. I think LEGO Star Wars 3 had the best system where there were vehicle levels where you could land and get out of your ship mixing vehicle and normal gameplay. I also really enjoyed vehicle levels in the original trilogy LEGO Star Wars game. The railshooter system in the original LEGO Star Wars was terrible though. I wouldn't mind more racing challenges as long as they don't go overboard with them. -

I can't wait for the Ghost Rider set! I'm a little disappointed that his bike is going to be huge instead of more minifig-scale, but I'm hoping it looks really cool, hopefully we'll get a better description soon. Hobgoblin is an interesting choice, pretty cool though. I'm surprised that Ghost Rider might have a different head piece than the Infearno one but hey, if it looks better I'm all for it. Just as I figured, his weapons will be trans orange chains, always nice to get more of those. An absolute day one buy for me. The Doctor Strange set sounds awesome, definitely another must have and it sounds like it will contain Wong, Baron Mordo and the villain, who must be either Dormammu or Nightmare. Very, very cool. I'm actually surprised this set was on display when the other film based sets were not. -
I like all of them except Lewa. I feel like you removed the parts of him that were unique and special and made him more of a generic build. i also think it was an odd choice to replace the gold PoU on Terak with a silver one when he already has gold armor and head. Pohatu is heads over tails better than the official set and I like what you did with Umarak's legs, although I would suggest putting some Bohrok eyes on those axles sticking out of his ankles, it would complete the smooth look and just having those stick out there kinda ruins an otherwise great design. I like the mods to the bow, although personally I will add bow strings to mine like I did with the PoJ and Skull Warrior. This can be achieved with system strings with studs on the ends, system chains, or even connecting thin, hollow system tubes, if that's something that interests you.

Personally, I'm not a big fan of Electro so I'd rather it was someone else like Mysterio, Vulture, Scorpion, or even Kraven the Hunter. We've already gotten Electro before but we haven't had any of these guys yet. The Ultimate version of Electro is a pretty boring character design, I mean he's basically a blue naked bald dude. Designs like that just don't translate well in minifig form without looking extremely bland, although I must say the trans blue limbs of his previous incarnation were a nice attempt by the designers to liven it up. Just think, cool helmets and armor and even a neat tail for Scorpion. I'm not yet caught up on Web Warriors but it seems like many are assuming these sets will be based off of episodes that have already happened as opposed to episodes that will air later this year. I would think it's the latter, right? -

So I just watched the Spirit of Vengeance episode of Hulk and the Agents of .S.M.A.S.H. and aside from actually being a really awesome episode, I have a better idea of what Ghost Rider and his bike will look like in the set, assuming it is indeed based off of his appearance in the MCU(in this instance the 'C' stands for cartoon). I totally dig the look, although more metal spikes would be nice. I just hope the brick built chopper isn't a let down. I'm guessing the set will also include a Spidey variant and a villain with a vehicle. I seriously doubt there would be any more than 3 minifigs and I'm guessing/hoping it will occupy the $30-$40 price range. Do we have any idea of the price ranges for any of these sets? -
Yeah... those don't look so great. Umarak the destroyer is cool but completely different than his hunter form. Ekimu has some mice trans blue but is just... generic looking. The beasts have really cool heads but they look really skeletal and thrown together, also disappointing that they are all humanoid. The mutated masks are neat though, with Onua getting a silver and trans yellow?, Kopaka getting silver and trans apple green and Tahu getting silver and trans light green. Ekimu looks like he has a new black mask that he's standing on, it doesn't really look umarak's mask but it could be.

It would be awesome if the Ghost Rider set came with a bigfig like A-Bomb, then again, it would be the first and only set based on Agents of S.M.A.S.H. Perhaps Ghost Rider is set to appear in an upcoming episode of USM, or heck, maybe the set isn't tied to a show and is simply a stand alone set, although unlikely. Not going to lie, I have something similar in mind if his chopper is brick built, although I would very much want it minifig-scale unlike that thing. Also, I think the $30 price point would be perfect for the Ghost Rider set. We'd get him, his bike, maybe 2 other figures, most likely a Spidy variant and a villian like Nightmare or something that would be cool. My preference would be getting Ghost Rider and Doctor Strange in the same set against Nightmare but that's probably unrealistic, especially considering we are getting sets based on the good doctor's new movie. Those will also be must haves for me. -

I think they could if they get creative with how the fire could be attached although brick built would be the better option. I might have to post my moc too which is also a bit unstable. I made the exact bike from the LEGO Marvel Superheroes game and I gave Ghost Rider Infearno's flame head piece from the Infearno Interception set and he has a trans orange chain from the last Hero Factory wave. Well there are multiple Ghost Riders and they look different depending upon the host and the possessing spirit, not to mention they have different modes of transportation. I wasn't talking about getting minifigs of Blaze or Ketch but rather their Ghost Rider forms, sorry for any confusion. Really? So we can speculate for pages about what versions of Spider-Man or Cap or Iron Man we're going to get but not Ghost Rider? SMH -

I'm a huge Ghost Rider buff, I can Tell the difference. I said Danny Ketch because I think he was the one that recently appears on agents of SMASH, so I've heard I don't watch it. It doesn't matter which one it is though, the main difference will be the design of the bime we get. Blaze has a more traditional chopper while Ketch has a more futuristic sports bike. Now I wonder if they'll just use the avengers bike design or do a brick built one? I'm kinda hoping for trans orange tires, and hopefully GR will have those spike pauldrons first seen in the hobbit sets. -

GHOOOSST RRIIDEER!!!!! My excitement cannot be contained!!! This is truly a dream come true, thanks to the cartoons he will appear in set form. I'm kinda glad it's danny ketch as I like his comics more than johnny blaze but both are awesome. Day one buy, I don't care how big it is or what else is in the set, though I assume his bike will be in it. -
Some interesting theories for sure. I wouldn't be opposed to a g1-g2 connection via 2 halves of the Vahi but I think they'll just do some hints here and there and let the fans fill in the gaps how they may, which is pretty cool. It's also possible that if the line continues after the 3 year arc, the Vahi might be the next big, important mask. If that means we get a 2-piece mask in set form, half in one year and half the following year, I am all for it!

I love the look of the Netflix series and I like where the story is going. The Labyrinth of Control sounds like it will be a really cool setting for the winter wave to take place in. Is it just me or do the crystal armor pieces look like the MoCr in the Netflix artwork? “First, we were led by duty…then by Unity with the Elements and their creatures!” We all know what's coming in year 3... Destiny!

Yeah once again Pohatu is my least favorite of the wave. His colors look awful and unbalanced, his weapon is pathetic and he looks so bland and uninspired. At least his mask is a major improvement over the horrendous block-cheeked mask this year. They should have left out the tan and replaced it with more burnt orange, The shells on the arms should be bigger and not in trans lime and they should have stuck with a flail and ditched the blade piece and the upper arms are thin and a poor attempt at being creative with the parts when Kopaka and Lewa do it so much better. That's all just to make him an OK set, not a great set as he would still suffer from genericness without a complete redesign.

I went from really liking this set to loving this set. The cgi does not do him justice, what an incredible set! Definitely a close second favorite from this wave, right after Onua. Also, I actually like the MoC much better than the MoCr. I'ts probably the horns, I like horns. Crowns, not so much, although it's still a fantastic mask. It doesn't appear that the MoC gets a stand like the MoCr does, which is a tad disappointing though it isn't difficult to moc one up with a green base instead of blue.

I was already really liking Umarak and his super awesome mask but wow! The cgi renders do not do him justice, so cool. The color scheme looks far more coherent in person than in the renders so that's good and I absolutely love black and trans apple green. He will be a great parts pack for my self moc, almost makes me want to get 2 of him. Let's just hope he isn't a lame throwaway villain. It would be a shame if he was killed off at the en of the year, though at least he's important enough to get 2 forms.
