    3D printed offset wheels

no it would be like the superlegga wheels of effe but wit 6 spokes
  4. Hy for school i hve to make someting for ICT (informatica) i am going to make a lego technic rim at the size of the unimog wheels with a 0.5 possitive offset so the steering center can be placed in the center of the wheel here a little picture to show what i want any help or 3D versions of a pinhole and axlehole are welcome Thanks TNLD
  5. awsome maybe a link to the real deal?
  6. nah just say that in de vid it are 9398 tyres
  7. Hy i'm back with another crawler saidly i'm not that good at making good astetics, lukkely functionallity is much better. here some pics DSC_0064 by thenextlegodesinger, on Flickr DSC_0065 by thenextlegodesinger, on Flickr DSC_0067 by thenextlegodesinger, on Flickr at first i wanted to make a crawler with positive caster but it was the worst steering i had ever seen so i remade the axles so they are now negative. the front and rear axle are identical. What i wanted to make was a crawler with good power and steering which is achieved. now i have to make a body around it. ideas are welcome. TNLD

    4X4 crawler

extesion wire i made the caster by making an angle on the axle but then the steering was terrible so i ditched it. the body will start around 4-5 studs lower because the suspention allows it. i really like the wheelbase but i know i could use the 9398 as a refference. and maybe i'm going to make the angle lower but the pic is so bad that it looks huge but it isn't same for the front it doesn't stik out as much as it seams, only 0.5 studs in front of the wheels
  9. 106mm in fact but those tyres you show in the video at 1.45 are these ( http://brickset.com/parts/4291178 ).
  10. Superb but that tyres you compaire it with arent powerpullers but crawler tyres also maybe you could use the knob wheels to get the power from the XL motors on the drivechaft
  11. i may try someday as i now have a tracked multy prupose vehicle wich can be used as a dolly trailer i tried it and it works perfect the bending is much less with only this way: plate studded beam plate i'll take pictures soon

    Basic MOC techniques

i started when i was around 9-10 with building technics but started mocing when i was 14 (now 16 and a half) and i have still a lot room for improuvements, i have only build 1 moc of someone else, i mostly got my techniques of sets and my self. I have a few moc's on my flickr (https://www.flickr.com/photos/127716413@N05/albums/with/72157654173602586 ) but all of these aren't build in a day, they still had a lot of testing and changing. For me the 9398 and 8110 were for me the game-changing sets. Every single set since then got modded to the bone and i think this can really help, buy and build sets and start modding, i know some people just buy sets and put them on a shelf but that's not me i like to change them make them better and then tear them appart and make a moc out of it, that's for me what lego is made for. but everything depends on what you like, if you like crawlers the 9398 is a must and the 8110 is a help, if you like cranes the 42009, 8043 and 42041 are great, but if you want to build realistic cars you should get the 42039, 42025 ... i think you should start modding and then start mocing. the competitions here are also a good start second moc was in the TC7 since these 3 years i started mocing i made 3 carts, which got better with experience, 3 crawlers, a buggy, a detacheble goosneck trailer, a dumper trailer, a dolly trailer, a tracked multi prupose vehicle and a wip baja truck wich was dumped because i didn't had enough parts. this seams a lot but just keep building. good luck TNLD
  14. why is it right side drive? you aren't in the UK, do you?
  15. awsome just awsome, i really like those fenders but i don't like the white of the door, it just harms the looks of the cabin
  16. i think you should made 1 motor power 6 pumps instead
  17. and you could maybe move the la knob to the back it would look a little bit better i think
  18. seconded! i looked at the first pic for a minute like it was the most beatiful thing on earth hope the driver and passenger don't harm their feet when they drive ( no floor)
  19. you don't have to use a positive caster angle on crawler, yes it makes the bump steer better but it makes it harder for the motor (making a crawler with 4 wheel steering and positive caster at the moment). steering is much worse than with my negative caster crawlers wich had also 4wheel steering and 4 wheel drive
  20. nope , try it your self and share it with us

    [HELP Differential Durability

i had a problem with my 3l diffs that the bevel gear that conects to the power gets shredded a litlle bit, that even with 1 XL motor
  22. let me guess the second one isn't aligned proprely
  23. the dolly? yes of course it uses the suspention arm as linkage
