Thank you for your Feedback. So I think I will give them a try. PS: maybe a product idea for HA-Bricks?

Thank you! As I can see, they are 3D Printed. Did you test the resilience / endurance? To be concrete: can they haul a long train or will they break?

Help needed designing front end - French Train
Pelzer117 replied to *thomas*'s topic in LEGO Train Tech
Maybe you find some inspiration here: Or here: https://rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-195451/copernicus508/dr-vt-137-type-stettin-8w/#details -
Thanks! Finally good news!
-
Wow. That's indeed a huge difference! Nice done 👍🏻 I personally think, this size of loco needs the XXL wheels, but it still works with the XL

4565 Goods Train Set (Freight Train) Extreme MOD (WIP)
Pelzer117 replied to Pelzer117's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Thank you for the feedback and the link to the GM loco! There are really some similarities. Thanks! Danke! That was the idea "This is the way (of MOCer)!" Thank you! Thanks! Yeah I don't know why it is so complicate to move the hoses. But maybe I have not enough patience for it Thank you all for yor feedback. This motivates me to do a little more (pictures follow asap). -
Fx Bricks (Michael Gale) announces Fx Track system
Pelzer117 replied to HoMa's topic in LEGO Train Tech
However, @michaelgale I would appreciate a performance similar to wheels with ball bearings. Perhaps you could adapt the mold of the wheel holders so that ball bearings could be "clipped in"? Just a thought. -
Hello there, after the "Mod" of my first passenger train set - #4560 - I thought a few days ago, it would also be aweseome, to "modify" all other "old" trains, that I have from my childhood. So, what do you think? PS: I didn't adjust or complete the hoses (handrails), because it's damn complicated in studio.

Fx Bricks (Michael Gale) announces Fx Track system
Pelzer117 replied to HoMa's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Ooooops. Ok sorry you're right! @Stereo: from my point of view, I was only planning to use it as a "power source" for charging the battery box(es) anyway. A connection from the power pickup to a PF or PU motor makes no sense from my point of view. There you might wait for the FX motor. But I was wrong before too. So is there a use case, of Power Pickup single axle with a PF/PU motor connected? -
Fx Bricks (Michael Gale) announces Fx Track system
Pelzer117 replied to HoMa's topic in LEGO Train Tech
I think this won't be a Problem. If you view this video, you will se he didn't have any connection problems with a single axle. So there shouldn't be a problem with the FX axles as well. -
Fx Bricks (Michael Gale) announces Fx Track system
Pelzer117 replied to HoMa's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Found this on Youtube. So yes there is absolutely a market. But FX Bricks Solution will be better I assume. But I still hope for an „advanced“ plug n play version with ball bearings -
Very interesting. But I assume the main difference is, that this guy operates under US legal and HA Bricks under European. And so far as I know, its totally legal in the US to „modify“ things. Btw.: does anyone know how HA Bricks will come back? With Go Bricks or so?

Wow, there are some good entries there. Thanks for the Information, I gave my votes 👍🏻

Fx Bricks (Michael Gale) announces Fx Track system
Pelzer117 replied to HoMa's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Wow. Thanks for the Information. But there I miss the plug n play way (attaching wires is in fact not as complicate, but I am still too lazy for it). So now put yours and Michaels ideas together and everyone will be happy 😅 -
Fx Bricks (Michael Gale) announces Fx Track system
Pelzer117 replied to HoMa's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Yes! Finally Fx Power is on the Horizon. Just One thought to the metal wheel set. How good will it roll compared to wheels with bearings? Or would it be an idea for Fx to include bearings in this wheel set? -
Really nice build! Only one point: it seems you use the Standard L #9 train wheels from Lego. I would prefer the XL #11 wheels for the loco and M #7 (or similar size) wheels for the tender. I think the Mould King Version used that wheel sizes too.

Mould King has also the XXL wheels, at least at their Orient Express
-
Can the devs please delete this topic, to avoid more heart attacks? 😅
-
Wouldn't say so. If the last Ideas sets show us one thing, then clear that the original submit and the final set must not look like the same 😉
-
YES! I will wait for the "Mods" solutions of the Masterbuilders. But I am afraid, THIS needs much more modding than the crocodile.
-
@M_slug357: sad to say, but you are dam right. I am honestly total dissapointed from the released set. Made my day!
-
Yes, but I am waiting until it is cheaper 😉 What I am also thinking: rebuild the Mould King Trains with #13 XXL Wheels (except the Hogwarts, there the #11 XL are ok, in my opinion).
-
Sadly this seems to be true

Still no sign. Shouldn't it be revealed today? Maybe it will be really delayed?
