  1. Really cool concept, I will definitely be using it in my bikes. And for some inspiration on how to make working bikes, I would definitely check out Slewentogzz's bikes. And my bike too (shameless plug )
  2. Hi, so I have been trying to find the video of a single cylinder lpe but have not found it. The engine is a switchless design, with four 50 tooth gear at the front arranged in a T formation. It is quite large, and I think the creator labeled it as the most powerful lpe ever.If anyone could point me towards the YouTube video, I would very much appreciate it.

    Driving LPE with Lego compressor?

Uhm no, that would be perpetual motion a.k.a. >100% efficiency, also impossible here on Earth. Unless you want to deal with superfluids, then that's a different story.
  4. Yeah, I am still developing it... glad I (sort of) helped.
  5. Nice, I just made a compact manual shifter. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPjg_ZcPifQ I am currently improving it so it will work in both directions.
  6. Honestly, TLG could have made the steering column look a lot better by using steering links and two of these 90° 'shifting things'. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZPjg_ZcPifQ&feature=youtu.be
  7. Such a good looking car, but with a terrible gearbox, I just rebuilt the steering column and I am so disappointed with how it relies on friction to function. Great review too!
  8. This MOC was an idea that i had revisited after a year. I originally made the chassis to be a stand alone model, but then I added a very simple body. The bodywork is not modeled after any buggy in specific. Specs: -2 XL motors -1 servo -1 receiver -1 aaa bat-box -RWD And the two XL motors, one for each wheel, they are not connected. Any feedback would be dearly appreciated.

    [MOC] Baja Buggy

Thanks guys, glad you liked it! Thank you, I worked hard on the video and your right it is a downhill racer, it's so much fun go drive at high speeds, the only problem is the terrible range of the PF IR system. [MOC] Baja Buggy

Ehh, maybe for the chassis, not the body work.

    [MOC] Baja Buggy

Thank you very much for all the compliments. The pictures don't do it justice, the caster angle is actually about perfect, maybe it could use a tiny bit more. However, I would not add too much since it was a problem I had with the original chassis from last year.

    [MOC] Baja Buggy

Thanks for all the compliments! Yeah, it's fast downhill and on flat ground, but does lack enough torque for good uphill speeds. I'm anxious to see your future Baja buggy/truck.
  13. Yeah I agree with nerdsforprez, a grandfather clock showing the mechanics would be really cool. I honestly just want to see a large set that is something other than a vehicle.
  14. Done! Wasn't that hard, I just had some PDF resolution problem. You can get them here and please give me feedback on the quality of the instructions.
  15. I'll get straight to work. ;)
  16. No problem, I had great fun making them!
  17. Well, I had a couple minutes to spare and so I made some simple instructions for it. Not the best quality but it is decent. You can download them here. Now where's my prize?
  18. Wow! I love lpe vehicles. I want to make an lpe car/truck soon, an I was wondering how long did the bottle of air last at 50psi?
  19. After months of construction, it's finally done. The Toyota Hilux (N40 generation) is one of the best pickup trucks ever. Often thought of as tough (that's and understatement), Top Gear failed at killing it by drowning it, setting fire to it, and putting it on top of a building that was then blown up. It took me around 6 months of on and off building to perfect this truck. It originally intended to have a two speed automatic gearbox, but it proved to be too inefficient. Then I got the 42043 and thought of creating a manual high-low range gearbox instead. This gearbox came out much more efficient than the previous one, so I stuck with it. Specs: - Power - AAA Battery Box - Propulsion - 1 XL Motor - Steering - 1 Servo - Control - V1 Reciever - High Range Gear Ratio - 1:2.334 - Low Range Gear Ratio - 1:3.89 And of course the mandatory shot from below Thanks
  20. Thanks 2LegoOrNot2Lego
  21. Well I posted the chassis LXF file on rebrickable for people to use. I also made this nice render of the chassis using Bluerender.
  22. I'm anxious to see the final car! If you want to make this car more realistic, I would not use springs that are both on the side of the suspension arms and on the top, pick one or the other.
  23. After multiple failures at creating a compact driven independent for a Chevy Suburban, I paused that project and started to make a Bowler Defender. For those who don't know, a Bowler Defender starts out as a Land Rover Defender 90 or 110, then it gets tricked out with rally spec parts and gets a full engine tune. I have tried to mimic the original chassis. This build is intended to perform well, just like the real one, so it has four L motors powering it. To show the similarities here is an image of the real chassis. I will try to update this topic every few days.
