I've been a lego fan for almost two decades. My interests include lego, Animals (especially reptiles), Halo/Marathon, Star Wars (pre-DISNEY takeover), and Transformers. -
Then could someone move the thread to si-fi and rename it space truck? Or preferably future truck? (As it's still used on earth). I'm not trying to be rude, but I'll say it again, is not ment to be "realistic", or "typical", but I wasn't sure if I should put it here, or in si-fi. Also, again not trying to be rude, semi is just a nicname for it, but I though "Magnus-5 all-terrain consumables and munitions transport" would be too long a title.

Thanks, how many Mocs am I limited to? -
I have more than enough time to MOC, when I'm not making photo comics or stopmotions.

[MoC] adjustable vertical hight scout craft (A.K.A. helicopter)
Dinobrick posted a topic in LEGO Sci-Fi
The AVH scout craft is used for travel within the narrow confines of major population centers. Where more typical fighters are considered a safety risk. The landing skids have room for a pair of troopers. EDIT: I found the lost roto piece, added plasma cannons and a larger tail stablizer. image by austindhinton95, on Flickr image by austindhinton95, on Flickr -

Glad to be here. -
The Luna Light is the "smart car" of sub orbital craft, at only eight feet, it is the smallest fighter used by the Sol Defense fleet. Unfortunately, due to a need for mass production, the Luna Light lacks many features Moon goers are used to. The Luna Light has no life support, and thus a type 3 exoskin must be worn for its operation. However, many Luna Light enthusiasts over look this trivial detail, for the fighter can reach speeds of over 45 Klicks (approx. 120mph.)per hour, perfect for those trips across Tranquility Bay. But for those who prefer to take part in the age old sport of blasting moon rocks, the Luna Light packs twin low phase plasma cannons. The Luna Light has become so well used by both civilian and Defense alike, that it is estimated that more of the fighters are produced each year, than there are births per year.

I just simply don't have the part colors, deep green is my rarest, along with pink( I have only three pinks in my collection. I don't need pink, so it's ok)

Thanks

Sadly I don't have much of any color beyond gr/bley and black. But it was going to contain a lot more blue. Maybe I'll blue it up and post a new pick. As black and blue are the colors of the Sol Defense fleet.

A small van that can hold three minifigs. It's not my best vehicle, and is probably my worst. I don't like the pig nosed front. I spent an unusual amount of time on the flag section. https://www.flickr.com/photos/128029269@N06/15475263108/ To make up for the hog mobiles poor design, here's a fun pic: https://www.flickr.com/photos/128029269@N06/15661423615/ A lady was just trying to get her kids to school on time, but she caught the eye of the traffic cop. And to make it worse, she missed her job interveiw! But her kids are just playing tag, enjoying their unintended free day. And it looks like the little stowaway is going to make a break for it.

It's not ment to be a typical city vehicle, it's part of my "fan story". But I didn't know where to put it. EDIT: why wouldn't it, anyway? Just wondering. I did add a second set, I found the wheels I needed, just after I posted it.

I attempted a slant front. And I don't have enough of one color (accept bley) to made a good sized vehicle.

In terms of looks, my favorite would have to be the cordak, but in functionality I would have to go with the skyblaster. My least favorite would be the thornax.

I agree, and its not just limited to Walmart. Although they are by far the worst.

They don't even sell the minifig baggies anymore where I live, probably because of them being torn open, like you said. I have to do an inspection of a lego box before I buy it. If it has been retaped, or clearly opened up, I pass. No need to risk getting a minifigless set.

The car is based of a hybrid between a suped-up classic and more 90's type car, with all terrain wheels. The truck is based off a generic Ford truck, mostly an older F150 and a Ranger, with a bed cover. The "Zumbi" plate on the back is an in-joke.

The Starchaser is designed to function as a mobile science lab, to allow for the examination of native lifeforms until a more permanent research facility can be set up. A bank of atmospheric sensors are mounted behind the rather cramped control pod. Ultra violet scanning rays are also a common addition. The Starchaser is powered by two Cold Fusion reactors, which produce massive amounts of energy, but little heat. A large loading platform sits at the rear of the craft, flanked by cabinets. Located towards the front are weapon and tool racks, a touch screen, and hidden away along the junction between the crew section and tool racks, are work stations. The Starchaser can comfortably hold up to 8 crew. An updated and weaponized version, nicknamed "Starbreakers" are used by the Jovian Alliance, a independent group who want little to do with Earth. https://www.flickr.com/photos/128029269@N06/15467238330/ Interior: https://www.flickr.com/photos/128029269@N06/15650122531/in/photostream/
