Mystery on the Excelsior - Sign Ups!
Sir Stig replied to Bob's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
This seems very cool. If there will be more spaces I'd like to join. Is there a set number of actions? Rounds? Winner is the ones that solves it in the least amount of actions like the old game Orient Express (Parker brothers?)? -
This reminds me of a lot of brick buildings in Oslo (mostly built in 1850-1910). Impressive, both on lego building skill and architecture understanding. I seldom manage to stay within a certain epoche on builds from my imagination. Well done!

I was William Mitchell. I was sick and had a hard time following and replying to everything. We also failed miserably on night 1. Great guess on swapping Ansel and Ethan. If not we would have got the investigator on night 1 I feel better now though. So I want to be a backup in the next game. Or, if we don't get replacements, I'll participate from the start.

[LEGO IDEAS] 21322 Pirates of Barracuda Bay - All the official Photos and Videos in one place
Sir Stig replied to Mister Phes's topic in LEGO Pirates
IloveitIloveitIloveit! I don't care if I'll starve, I am getting this one. Maybe 2 of it. I am looking forward to seeing it in Pirate Layouts. Personally I will use it in an RPG homebrew setting, that I hope will evolve into a PKH* layout in a few years time. I hope it sells in such amounts that they make more pirate sets. With modern architecture solutions settlement armada sets could be totally awesome. *Lego Exhibition, Trondheim, Norway -
Entertaining to follow. I am game for Pirates II

Karie's Cosplay Mafia: Day Four
Sir Stig replied to Kintobor's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Sandy said it best. It is not how I act, it is what I do (or something alobg those lines). Who are you asking btw? Me or my 3rd person? Why do you think I am acting strange suddenly, and not scummy? Because you know I am not scum? Did Newt mess up his defensive speech after all? If it is aby consolation I think you are acting strange. I should probably have reacted more on several of your sheepish tag along votes. Oh well. This will all be a learning experience for me. I had almost forgotten how stressful mafia games were. -

Karie's Cosplay Mafia: Day Four
Sir Stig replied to Kintobor's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I have laid my case for Korra before, and the last 2 days have not changed my mind, even though I have tried to back off and be open for my own error after her outburst a few days ago. But I think it was a warning, after I stepped to close. Me not being murdered, can only be because I have been so vocal against her. The only other option I see are Bob/Tyrion, but if that is the case (with that setup, and execution), I will be in awe. No, I think and hope we got this wrapped: vote: Korra (Khscarymovie4) -
Karie's Cosplay Mafia: Day Four
Sir Stig replied to Kintobor's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Hopefully there is only one scum left, but there are 3 discrepancies that I have not got my head around. 1. The vote shifts between you and Khscarymovie4 at the very end of day 1. It was clear that it would not be a lynch at that time, so what could the motive behind that be? Hiding their votes, planting "proof" for later. And now you say Khscarymovie4 and Tariq J must be the remaining scum. Hmm... 2. What is the deal with Bob. Why did Kotz mention him. Was the goal to frame him, or make us think he tried to frame him. If Bob is scum, this discrepancy does not match up with Trekkie99s claim of night actions. Unless: Both Bob and Trekkie99 are scum? 3. With these night results, I don't understand why you spoke about 3 of your favorite scum was on the same wagon (Sandy/Jimmynick and me). If your story is true, then you knew Sandy and Jimmynick didn't do anything, and were more likely town. I say likelihood of you being lynched is at least 8 at the current moment. If there are 2 more scum, I would hope the town got some power roles. I am looking forward to see the set up when this party is over. Why was it so good that you didn't track me, if you are so suspicious of me as you claim? At the end of day 2 you screamed your lungs out: "The scummo has spoken. Discussion from here on out is utterly pointless". Remember that? Why did you not track me on night 2 or 3? "A look back on the previous days should tell us which of the two if not both is the more likely scum partner of KotZ. (I mean aside from me of course lol)" Which two? Still Khscarymovie4 and Tariq J, or are you talking about me and Bob? (aside from yourself of course). Adding confusion on purpose? Please clarify. I am also still waiting for @Bob to answer a few of my questions from yesterday (The ones that had a very accusatory tone), related to Kotz defense speech. -
Karie's Cosplay Mafia: Day Three
Sir Stig replied to Kintobor's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
What is this? Why do you have to get away with anything if you have a good case? Slip of the tongue? As said before, the way the votes stacked on me made me think it has to be scum among those voting for me. Since I am not sure which one of those 4 is scum. Could be one, could be 2. Therefore I pay respect to the opinion of those I think are more likely to be town on the other lynch candidate. If Newt is indeed an insane/paranoid cop, we are barking at 2 wrong trees. But at the moment Newt have some logical faults which Kyle and Egon are pointing out. (That would of course be a dream scenario for scum - lynching 1 town and having another ready for autolynch....). Let's see: Scenario 1: Newts defense is correct. Why did you not talk about or to Egon about your thoughts? @Bob Your thoughts? What did Newt mean with his above post? Is he telling the truth? Scenario 2: If he turns up scum, @Bob Did he try to implicate you, for a future lynch? Or if I get lynched, will you be considered town alongside your scum buddy? "unless Bob is a godfather" <- What is this: in case Bob is revealed as scum, you can claim he must have been a godfather, so you don't come of as a lying bag of scum? Defendese of Newt, by Tyrion, before Newt even answered those valid concerns here: He also investigated Egon/Bob, for a scum result, but saying he thinks he has a town game, or so he claims. Why no mention of this before? Why don't you let Newt answer? You are very persistent on lynching me since your post (that was posted after the day had ended), and judging by page 3 of today you are intensifying this notion. I wonder if you have committed to heavily on your opinion on me, since you are not addressing more concrete issues than attacking my behavior. You are building very actively upon the tension between 2 candidates. You're active defense for Kotz, which put yourself in a very bad situation if Kotz turns up scum, or I turn up town. -

Please do. Look at all the days. Look at my post about day 1. (I did have a small clue on Sandy, but I find it is easier to point out things if I take one thing at a time - Which makes it harder to explain the connection... oh no, I am talking gibberish again). We shall... Please tune in tomorrow for the latest discoveries in Cosplay Mafia (I am going to have 1 more beer and going to bed soon). :D Probably available for comment for a few hours more, but I am putting my investigation on hold until have gotten more sleep and get my alcohol level down. Great party! Still more Bloody Marys to go around ;) -

Karie's Cosplay Mafia: Day Three
Sir Stig replied to Kintobor's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I am reading day 2 and 3 again now. @jimmynick have made several good points on Newt/Kotz, and I find her reasoning good throughout the days. @Khscarymovie4: If you are town, although I have found suspicious behaviour from you, I hope not our similar aggressive game style makes it easier for the scum. Kotz have been involved in several votings that have taken down Townies. Because of the way the votes on me piled in, I am sure there are scum among those voting for me. I put my trust in the ones that have voted Kotz, todays reasoning from Kylo and Black Canary was good. One connection I am looking at is Newt/Tyrion. But atm I am getting a headache, so I'll take a break. Also, In order to give Korra the benefit of the doubt.: Unvote: Korra (Khscarymovie4 Vote: Newt (Kotz) -
Karie's Cosplay Mafia: Day Three
Sir Stig replied to Kintobor's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
First post of day 1. To which Korra replies in the second post of the day: And she follows up with this planted suspicion: The above post is a reply to Sandy. Is it strange that I react to this set up? Why am I involved in this again? Oh, and I found the post I think you have been asking for repeatedly (response to Black Canary): Hinckley is proven town. Kotz/Newt and Sandy/Kylo Ren had been active day 1. Let me repeat your quote from about 3 posts up: "Kylo Ren (Who's Sandy?)". Clean your own path before critisizing other on nick/role confusion. Voting order: Tyrion: Korra Daphne (Killed and confirmed town): Tyrion Bob: Newt Korra: Raphael Tracer: Bob Black Canary: Korra Kylo Ren: Raphael Tyrion: Changed his vote from Korra to Newt <-saving Korra from having most votes? Korra:: Changed her vote from Raphael to Tyrion <- when it is clear we are not going to get a lynch that day My impression from day 1: The relation between Korra and Tyrion paired with voting pattern are so far confirming my theory. The interaction between them are strange, sometimes confirming each others replies to others, or presumably at each others throat. Please go back and read through the day for yourselves, and see if you think I am wrong. I find more on Korra than Tyrion, but I do find Tyrion to be joking a lot and contributing much to the town. Not sure if he is just having fun, and I still ponder what the motive of the PMs are. Coming back with day 2 after some house chores. -
Karie's Cosplay Mafia: Day Three
Sir Stig replied to Kintobor's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Because I have better candidates. There is definitely someone wrong among those that have their vote on me: @Bob, @Khscarymovie4, @Trekkie99 and @KotZ. I don't know who are most scummy, but some of you are town. The towniest of you in my opinion is Bob, Trekkie, maybe Kotz (see below). I believe my error is that I talk before I have invested to much in an opinion. If I come of as fishy because of that it is because I am fishing for crooks. If fishy is the term for a feeling, I would say the light hearted funny sentences Khscarymovie4 often adds right after planting "evidence" (to lighten up and distance herself from her involvement?), are the most slippery eel I get a sense of. The way she are just fine with lynching either me or Kotz, (but not Sandy? Why not Sandy?) makes me think maybe Kotz are more likely town. The more I think about it, the stronger my suspicion get. I am going back to my comment on day 2 vote (I would vote Korra if other also picked up a suspicion towards her). Since she was the first one to vote for me after Bob, I suspect her of pushing the bandwagon: Vote: Korra (Khscarymovie4) Now I am fealing defeatist on the towns behalf. I am sorry I don't see why I am so scummy. Is it because I have asked/raised questions about just about everybody? Is it because I come up with theories based on all the threads, trying to find patterns across several days? Next time I play I will use an excel file to add notes from the very beginning. I have to go to bed soon. How long time do I have to find more exact evidence? I am thinking about looking closely at how suspicions have been raised towards other players. Especially the ones that are carefully worded (and/or with a dismissive add-on at the end), so they don't actually catch on. I am starting with Khscarymovies4 posts (for reasons stated elsewhere in this post and probably my last few posts). I believe strongly that I have been to close to someones toes, and that there are gold in some of my exchanges/theories. I have read the previous day threads again every day, but not with such a clear purpose. Just checked. It was just 3 hours ago since voting started, and already 4 votes?!?! There has to be scum among the four that have voted on me, so that is where my focus will be. I have been busy today, so I have not been here early enough to prevent the bandwagon. I have plenty of time. Excuse me for not getting to it until there are 5-6 hours left. I hope there are not too many new fluff posts to read through tomorrow. Way overdue bedtime. 5 AM here. I have much more than 5-6 hours. Oh, this is going to be an interesting day :) -
Karie's Cosplay Mafia: Day Three
Sir Stig replied to Kintobor's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
I hope this reason have not been the basis for voting on me. I did not mean that someone claimed in thread. I believed that was self explanatory. There is talk about a town block forming in the games I have played and read, but I have never been in one, so I don't know how it works. I would probably suggest that a vanilla townie lead the case. Yes, please do. I don't have time to read through again and find a new explanation. Either I can't understand what you can't understand, or you are stalling and adding accusation. I urge anyone wondering to go back and read the back and forth between me and Korra, and make up their own mind. I would love to get constructive critisism, since I want to improve my communication. Thanks, for noticing. One more thing. Don't vote for me, it will be bad for your consciences tomorrow. I am town. Believe me. -
Karie's Cosplay Mafia: Day Three
Sir Stig replied to Kintobor's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Did you get a blocked kill result, and want to make the blocker/protector doubt their result? Everyone: If there is a town blocker or protector, today is the day to get that message across some way. Very early to claim Vanilla Town. If that is correct you are only helping the scum narrow it down and find possible power roles. And then you attempt to throw the suspicion on me and Newt. Interesting... True. I am flip flopping all over the place. Hmm, how does one act not sheepish in mafia? I could say I am town, but this is a game of deception, so that would seem very sheepish. Too bad that Hinckley turned up town. It is a sad bi-effect of being a very good player. I really hope the cop car was not a hint that we just lost our cop. I am always wary when the lynch mob start being too unified. I thought the push towards Sandy yesterday was somewhat lacking in good arguments, and I got a feeling that she was sincere in her replies. It may very well be that I was wrong for not jumping on that bandwagon (don't forget to keep that one in mind for analyzing later on) and that it is my fault for yesterdays erroneous voting. One theory is that Sandy put the early vote on Hinckley to take away focus from Newt/Kotz (who also had penalty votes), and the chance to take out Hinckley got too big of a temptation to let go, while also saving themselves from penalty votes. Since Newt/Kotz did not answer Tariq J and Blackcanary, his vote on Sandy may have been a way to mess up the voting analysis and try to distance themselves from eachother. @Sandy, @KotZ: 3 questions for you: 1. Is the above theory close to home? 2. What are your thoughts on each other? 3. What are your thoughts on me? Bonus question: Someone else that tickles your fancy? If I spread confusion, I am sorry. It is only my own confusion leaking out. -
Karie's Cosplay Mafia: Day Two
Sir Stig replied to Kintobor's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
Last post before day 1 ended. But wait? Why? If you entertain the thought that Tauriel and Tyrion are scum together, that rules out Kylo.... and then you vote Newt/Kotz? Your reasoning lacks coherence -
Karie's Cosplay Mafia: Day Two
Sir Stig replied to Kintobor's topic in LEGO Mafia and Role-Play Games
It seems like you are not really paying attention, Tyrion repeated his vote a few post above yours (see below) See below. Actually, I think it is 4. Or how many times does Tyrion/@Trekkie99 have to vote before it is counted? I find it hard to put a finger on what triggers me. I had the impression that Trekkie was flailing. So, Kylo is not helping. Trekkie is not helping. You repeat my words about Tyrion digging a hole. Tauriel too has pointed out reasons... Setting Tyrion, Tauriel and Kylo up against each other. A lot of gaslighting. @Khscarymovie4: Why did you have to point out it was a joke vote on me yesterday? After Jimmynick pointed out stupid reason. I don't find much contribution in your posts, other than keeping score of who is not active, and stating obvious mafia strategies. Both of yesterdays non-voters are piling on Kylo/Sandy. Don't know what to make of that, but not posting day one makes me want to put a vote on Tauriel/Hinckley. Why not Newt? I don't know. Why not? You are unconvinced that he'll turn up mafia you mean? I understand. Better to state that you are not sure, so you can't be blamed if that happens... Combined with your earlier comments about my inexperience (That's right, that one hit me right in the feels), I will change my vote again. Let's see who hammers, and who doesn't. If he turns up town, I, Sandy and the hammerer will be under scrutiny. This is a risk I am willing to take. I would vote for Korry/Khscarymovie4 if she was close, and am willing to change if enough people are on board with that gut feeling. Since most does not understand my gibberish, I just have to cross my fingers and hope for the best (getting a scum early on). Unvote: Tyrion Lannister (Trekkie99) Vote: Tauriel (Hinkley) -
