    Purist Superhero Figures

I like the Rocka head, because it seems like C3PO's head gets used for every robot character. The only thing I'd change is I'd give him a black or white, or maybe red, head underneath, because he has visible eyes and the inside of his mouth is a different color too. Everything else you came up with for him is pretty great.

I did that too. I'm keeping the smiling face for my DCCU Superman figures (I changed out the head and hair on my MoS Superman), though I may change that soon, because I'm not sure it works that well. A recent idea I had was to try to make the TT Doom Patrol with Beast Boy's body and legs. Negative Man would be pretty easy, since all you'd have to do would be to put a mummy's head and white hands on it, plus an all black figure for his negative self. Robot Man would just need a purple hip piece with orange legs, plus an orange torso, arms, and hands, with an orange robot-looking head on top. The other two I'm not sure.

[76057] Web Warriors Ultimate Bridge Battle!

I like how you solved the problem of one too many extra legs on the Iron Spider figure.

Where's Tony's torso from? That's a pretty great Civil War meeting Tony.

    71040 The Disney Castle Discussion

I got mine a few days ago, though I forget exactly when. It might have actually been on the 7th, now that I think about it. Did anyone else get that weird cover outside the regular cover on theirs?

    Custom Batman Minifigures

So you're the one I got notified of following me, cool, I was wondering about that. I used a black cape. I also added a yellow version of the Green Lantern lantern found in the Big Bang Theory set as an accessory. Side note, but batman related, since you might have seen my LDD recreation of the '66 Batmobile from the LB3 minikit: that's possible to make physically now, with the release of the 2x2 right angle tiles in black.

    Doctor Who General Discussion

I thought so too, so I replaced a few parts to round it out. I used two of these as replacements for the 1x1 black plates under the curved pieces, and I used two of these instead of the 1x2 plates under the 1x3 angle plates. I also changed the bottom hinge plate on the back to black. I didn't solve the front, but at least the sides and back look better now.

    Custom Batman Minifigures

Yeah, that's basically what I did, but I used a long and narrow eared cowl, and the head that's totally flesh, not flesh printed on black. I also added a cape.

BvS SPOILERS ideas on how to make....

I was just planning on attaching a trans-green cone to a light bluish grey, or black, staff piece. I'm trying to decide who should hold it in my minifigure display, though.

    The never ending batman fig

Is it supposed to be like the James Gordon Batman?

    Custom Batman Minifigures

I don't have a very good picture of it, but I made the Sinestro Batman from the Lego Batman 3 video game (it's in a DLC pack) with physical parts, since the necessary parts and prints already existed. It might be my favorite batsuit in my collection, and it was also my first custom(ish) minifigure.

    The never ending batman fig

I'd love to have that Batman Beyond figure. I, and others, noticed that the Sinsetro Batman figure there has the wrong (blue lantern) symbol. I, and others, made a new version of that one using the official Sinestro figure in combination with a Batman figure. I made a variant of the regular/dark blue Batman with the grey torso and legs by swapping out the blue parts for black ones, to make it look like the suit from the Batman Animated Series. Now all that one needs is black boots. Where did the figure in the front row on the left side come from, and what batsuit is that based on?

    Database of Actor Minifigs

If you're interested in seeing how that'd look, someone made that figure here, more or less. I want to make it too, and I have the parts incoming, but it really needs legs with black boots to look complete.

    Purist Superhero Figures

I took this quote from the "Database of Actor Minifigs" topic, and I'm curious what the proposed custom would look like, so I can decide if I want to make it for myself. Can someone please show me that minifigure? Edit: I didn't realize it had already been done here.

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

They got rid of MCU Nick Fury's torso and legs, too, but Maria Hill's torso is still available.

Has anyone mentioned the idea to use the Mighty Micros Flash head to make a Wally West Flash, since it has white eyes?

VIDEO: Ant-Man - around the 'Brick World'!

Funny idea, and very catchy tune. I recognized all the extra sets except for that yellow dragon thing. What is that? What's the name of the song, too? I think I want to download it.

REVIEW: LEGO Super Heroes 'Super Hero Airport Battle' (76051)

I don't like the stud shooters, so I'll be giving War Machine the same gun as his previous version had, and I didn't see the technic brick on the outside of Giant Man's legs until that last shot, which made me want to change that out too. I'm not sure what I'll do with Captain America, since that's the same figure as Age of Ultron, and I don't need two of the same figure in my display. I appreciated the review, though, as that was the very first one I'd seen.

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

I ordered on the 3rd, it shipped on the 8th, and arrived on the 13th (today (the timestamp on the post is an hour ahead of my local time)), so that's about 10 days total from when I ordered to when it arrived.

Lego Licensed Parts available from Bricks & Pieces

Thanks to this thread, I was able to get a MCU Nick Fury (USM set's head) and a Maria Hill (BLed the head) without buying the set they're exclusive to, and I'm very excited about that. Thank you very much.

    Bionicle 2016 Sets Discussion

Everyone (who even mentions it) keeps talking like that's still the Mask of Control on Umarak the Destroyer, but what if it's the Mask of Ultimate Power? I think it has all three outcrops on both sides, and the eyes might be the right shape. Look at how understated the Mask of Control turned out to be compared to the animation version. There's also all the runes like the other two have, which seems to add further credibility to my idea. We don't even know what the actual color of the MoUP is, since it was engulfed in smoke or something in the animations, so it could be gold, like all the other significant masks have been so far.

    24 Karat Gold Mask Stand

When Lego sent out the 24 karat gold mask prizes, they sent brick built stands with them, for ease of display. The recipient of the 24 karat gold mask of earth (not me) uploaded a video on youtube of how to make that stand. After I found it, I ordered the pieces for three of them (I've only received the pieces for two so far), as well as some other pieces so I could make some alterations to the original design. (I don't know how to embed it, but I'd like to), but just so you know, two of the steps are out of order somewhere in the middle, where it shows one step with a half bush, and the next step doesn't have it. The alterations I made are that I put a 2x2 round plate under each grated parabola that matches the color of that parabola (to stop them from spinning), and I put a pin (mine were friction, but I'm not sure that matters) in the spot where the mask attaches in order to make that hole smaller, which makes the mask very unlikely to tilt down on the stand. An added advantage to the 2x2 round plates is that the bottoms of them meet when they're put on the stand, so it reduces the pressure applied to the parabolas during construction. We may not all have been able to get the 24 karat gold masks, but now we can use the stands they came with.

    Doctor Who General Discussion

I decided to make some alterations to my daleks to make them look rounder in the back. I took off the black single stud plates under the 1x2 plates on the base and replaced them with 1x2 slopes with plate-high connectors. I also replaced the dark tan 1x2 plates under the 2x2 plates with 1x2 plates with rails. The back doesn't look nearly as flat now that I've done that. I'm glad that rail plate came in the right color, because I wasn't sure it did at first.
