Adventures End
PaddyBricksplitter replied to PaddyBricksplitter's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
Many thanks, very happy you like it. I wanted to do a grand old house interior for a long time. I will probably do something completely different next as is my nature :P However you never know when some foul evil will rise and good men must once more step into the breach ;) -

I'm glad you like it, this is an moc for Adventurers fans and those who remember Mr Thunder fondly. -
Very nice effect with the water breaking on the beach.

Thanks, I guess even in Lego form the remembrance of things passed can be kind of sad. :) Yep, Mr Thunder was quite a much loved character. Thank you, I tried to allude to some Lego adventures he might have had, this pic is for the long time Lego fans. You never know, he might need to go on one last adventure so it pays to be prepared. -

Thanks doc, I like to put lots of details in there, kind of like a "Where's Wally/Waldo" picture. -

Hey thanks, glad you like it and even my little poem. I was thinking about all the themes that end and what happens to all those heroes when Lego decides their time is over. Thanks Graham, always so positive :) Thanks, I took some time to round it out instead of just using slopes. I'm glad I did now. -
Hi all, So I got the Medusa minifigure and decided to do a little vig to display her on. She was a little expensive but I think she is worth it :) I might do some more vigs or MOCs on Greek myths as they are some of my favorite stories. Hope ya like it!

Hi all I was looking through my mini figs and thought that the AT-AT stormie's helmet looked a lot like the Space Marine helmets from Warhammer 40K. I do love my mash ups so here's what happens when the Star Wars Storm Troopers meet the Warhammer 40K Space Marines. Its the newest chapter in the Emperor's legions "The Imperial Rottweilers"

Space Hulk is pretty good, I like turn based strategy games and action games too. Thank you for the kind comments :)

[MOC] The Gorgon's End
PaddyBricksplitter replied to PaddyBricksplitter's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
10 of them! Wow! now that is impressive. I thought buying one was a little expensive XD I would love to get the Minotaur and the Ocean King too. Thanks, that's a great idea, I don't actually have a quiver. I will check them out on Brick Link and Brick Owl. I am very jealous of people with all the CMFs. -

[MOC] The Gorgon's End
PaddyBricksplitter replied to PaddyBricksplitter's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I really, really wanted the mini fig so I paid double the original price in an eBay auction, it seems that was a good deal as the price keeps going up for Medusa. I guess that's just capitalism in action. This really works as a little display for my desk, I think it's because of the round base it makes it look like a proper ornament. Feel feel to copy it if you like :) Thanks and welcome to Euro Bricks :D Thank you. I wish I had some more of the earlier CMF series, you are lucky if you did pick them up at launch as they can be very expensive to get these days. LOL XDIt would be cool to do one with Poseidon, I think he was a CMF too. -
Very nice. Great parts use here.

[MOC] The Gorgon's End

Thanks, she was just over twice her original price so I guess I got a good deal. Speculation is a bummer, I just cant keep from opening all the sets I get so no profits for me :D -
Thanks I have played some of the video games based on the table top game. The art work and look of the universe is brilliant IMO. Thanks, I am saving up the pieces to do a Blood Angel.

Thanks man, Warhammer 40K space marines carry those big chunky guns, they look cool in Lego form too.

Eurobricks Mega Building LEGO CMFs Contest 2016
PaddyBricksplitter replied to WhiteFang's topic in Special LEGO Themes
So let me get this straight, Cat A is basically an vig or little display measuring 8x8 studs but with no mini figure, the theme of which should relate to a specific fig from the latest CMF series 15. Cat B a fig in a vig that's 8x8 which can feature any previous CMFs before series 15. Is that right? -
Thank you kindly Graham.

Thank you Graham. I love mini figs with expressive faces. They always make me laugh. I wish Lego did some more varieties.

Hi all, Here's an MOC called "The New Neighbours" inspired by american 1950's sc-fi comic covers. I know its a little bit on the dark side but it's winter in Ireland and this is as bright as it gets! Hope you guys like it :)
