I think its a good idea, I have the same idea as I am hoping to buy a second one as well, I have already made almost all of the skiff and sailbarge guards using the skiffguards website for reference so can't wait to have a second skiff to display them on.

Hi, I have been given the base plate for King Leo's castle set 6098, it's in decent condition, I don't have any use for it and not sure if anyone else would either but thought I would see. I'm after anything lego super hero, Lord of the Rings or star wars related Especially any of the newer set minifigures or older Gamorean guards, rebel troopers, droids that are not C3-PO or R2. Also interested in tan brick and base plates.

I was hoping for an original looking Fury, not that I mind African American Fury,its just that the original Fury is what I grew up with.

For the record Krulis Nova should be yellow and blue as that was his first amd most commonly seen costume in the comics.

So many awesome figs to choose from, when I first heard of CMF 2 years ago me and my friend went out to buy one each for a laugh, I really wanted a Ninja and he really wanted the robot, we picked one each at random and low and behold, we both got what we wanted. totally off topic :) but anyway despite wanting the ninja badly I ended up preferring the robot. Right so here are my favourites: Series 1: Robot and Zombie series 2: Pharaoh series 3: Samurai seriesd 4: Hazmat Series 5: Gladiator series 6: Genie series 7: Aztec Series 8: Conquistador Lets face it most of the figures are awesome though :)

Ok so seeing as I only got one right last time I will probably reuse a few from before but here are my guesses, obviously i would never expect all of these to be in one set but i hope at least a couple are in the next one. 1. Cyclops - wearing some kind of loincloth and with a caveman club. 2. Medusa - Snakelike tail, snake head dress. 3. Magician - pointy hat, cape, some kind of awesome lookign staff or wand. (apart from Gandalf it has been a while since we had a wizard). 4. Jogger - male or female, sweat band, sweaty face, mp3 player accesory. 5. Aladdin like street urchin - aladdin style hat, bag of stolen money/ or stolen food. 6. Arabian style wizard on a magic carpet, turban hat. 7. Cricket player - bat, stumps possibly. 8. Slime Monster - special molded headpiece akin to Swamp Thing or Man-Thing 9. Roman bannerman - wolfskin helmet, Roman banner. 10.Judge - powdered wig, gavel. 11. Bond style villain - bald head, scar, gun and cat. 12. British Roundhead soldier - helmet, sword, musket. 13. Letterman jacket high school Jock - amercian football. 14: Jazz musician - pin stripe suit, sunglasses,saxophone. 15: Beefeater guard - halberd, little black hat. 16. 1920's gumshoe - pistol, trenchcoat, trilby style hat.

To whoever was talking about how they are annoyted they are not releasing a cat woman from TDKR, these are clearly not all the minifigures that will be released, as combined they would make very few sets and who would Aquaman fight? I'm sure these are just a taster of what is to come. Can't wait to make a castle for doom :)

Well out of all the series this one seems quite random, I don't know why but to me it has a different feel to it, probably just because of how bright and varied season 6 and 7 were in comparison, it's not my favourite series but has some interesting figures. Must haves: Diver, Man-bat, conquistidor and shakespearean actor. I can see myself getting at least 3 of each of these, maybe more conquistadors to fight my five aztecs (which is the most i have of any figure), although an army of manbats sounds cool. I can see some jules verne esque mocs with the diving suit guy which would be cool. Interested in: Bavarian - mainly for the hat i guess, my forestmen lost their hats when i was a kid. DJ: Nice little figure, cool design all round. Bussiness man - for the Watson possibilities someone mentioned earlier. Pirate Captain - Only need one of this guy but he is a nice design. American football player - Would have been nice to get a different colour, white is not that interesting but oh well. Santa - Not sure what I would do with him but I want one anyhow. Not interested in: Cheerleader, skier, Fairy, female alien, cowgirl (although has a nice design), evil robot (the hat is the best thing about this fig, but it does not go with the rest of his colour). All in all im excited by a few of these as they are pretty awesome but the majority are take it or leave it in my opinion, if you are a town fan though this would probably be an awesome release.

are they not going to be on sale at whsmiths as well?

This is one of the first sets I ever got when I was a child, I love the forestmen as well and think its a great little set, your review has inspired me to find the instructions online (original are long lost) and rebuild this :) a very nice review, i completely agree.

If anyone wants to message me an offer for a complete set then i will consider it, I am mainly looking for money, or for SW figs/sets, along with LOTR figs and monsters from monster fighters. I could probably beat most peoples price to send as im not lookinf for a big profit just a trade for similar value. Ny mow I should have +4 or something on the trusterd sellers thing.

Saw it yuesterday and I would say the sets are a damned fine representation, the aliens look very similar and the minifigures in each set make sense. Although a Shield helicarrier bridge would have been awesome, with Fury, Maria Hill and Colson, Cappy and some shield agents, it would have easily been my favourite set.

The batman set was a licensed set so this should retail for less, im thinking between 20-30 pounds.

Ah I just realised you are in the US, so maybe it's different as the series 7 figures have only just come out over there so are probably more expensive on ebay, maybe you will find someone then :)

I don't recall saying that I wanted a negative caricature, I envisage him looking exactly like the baddie in the princess and the frog or Mr Drybone from Anancy and Mr Drybone. Makes sense about the yellow minifig and ones with colour though, especially if he is a human. Now that I think about it wouldn't making a voodoo witch doctor violate TLG'S no religious peopleS policy, is he just called witchdoctor do you think?

Why would having a black voodoo guy be offensive, voodoo originated in the carribbean using parts of old religions from Africa as well as Christianity. Many of the people who believed and practised Voodoo were black as that is the majority population of the carribbean, what should skin colour matter? Its not implying that black people are bad because one is a voodoo witch doctor guy. Awesome looking minifigs though, i can see myself getting several of these to go with my other zombies :)

I like the ultimates nick fury and all but as a long time marvel comics fan I do wish it was the original fury (i know they would make the film one really).

The main problem I could see was that people buy expensive sets for the minifigs that are hard to find, if they release them in collectable packs then they might not be able to sell so many bigger sets. I would love to see a generic collectible minifigure set i.e.: shield agent, hydra agent, skrull, morlock, kree and badoon warriors, doombot, Hydra agent, purifier, hellfire club guard. They might not sell as well though, althouth the minifigs would look awesome I'm sure. Also to remain on topic I would like a variety of x-men verses sets each with a different little scene, say an alley, mini forest or part of the mansion and containing a 2 x-men vs 2 bad guys. Mansion parts could combine into a modular type of things. I would have: Samurai Wolvie and Shasowcat vs Silver Samurai and a hand ninja (set near a japanese temple) Nightcawler and Collosus vs Mystique and pyro/avalanche(set in the mansions front garden) Cyclops and Jean Grey vs Mr Sinister and Sabretooth (set inside the mansion) Storm and Rogue vs Sebastian Shaw and Emma frost or a hellfire guard (set in one of the hellfire clubs posh rooms0

Good review, I picked it up for 15 pounds and my it was worth it, the chopper was fun to build and looks really great, Wolvie is awesome, as are Magneto and Deadpool. It also fits the 10 cents a piece price as it has just overe 200 including extras. Might have to buy another at that price.
