I can't confirm it but as you've said, they are exactly same front and lateral torsos from the officers from set 70912, so 99% sure that they have the GCPD in their backs... -

You're right! Lego hasn't ever be clear about the UCS definition. For example in UCS playsets, Ewok Village is not UCS and Assault on Hoth yes! I think that EV is a big playset that truly represents a Star Wars legendary location so I would consider it an UCS, I do not need an entire forest. In Assault on Hoth we have only a big gate and we're still waiting for the Echo Base... A gate is less than a 10% of the actual base, so I do not think that it has to carry the UCS medal. -

Totally agree. I'm starting to be very disappointed with TLG: 1) Winter Village Toy Shop rerelease 2) Assault on Hoth UCS (UCS???) 3) Death Star rerelease. Yes, I vote for an UCS Tantine IV -
Great work, both exterior and Interior. I'm agree with snaillad about the background: In the main image the white/light blue building actually fades with the background in the to section.

Hello my name is Marcos (Lepralego) I’m an Argentinian AFOL and I’ve been living in Spain for the last 12 years. I’m 37 years old, and I’m interested in modular buildings (Official sets and MOCs). I’m starting now a now project about ‘XL modular buildings’, those big creations like ‘Avenue Saint-Jaques’ from Snaillad (I’m in love with this MOC). I’m going to attend AFOLCON in London Excel next November. I’m glad to be a new Eurobricks member and share our Lego passions. Hugs,

I like this creation. Perhaps it would be better a wider white baseplate (but not a wider building), I mean that it seemed to me a bit cropped in the left and right sides. But it is a very serious building and a very clever creation. Congratulations.

Fantastic review. I think this is a good addition to the Winter Village series. I own the complete series, but last year a felt dissapointed with the Christmas Market, I think it was a very simple set (perhaps because of the absence of a building) which repeats many times those typical german market stands that were included in previous sets. Now with Santa's workshop we have a cosy building back again with very nice details. I'm ready to pick it...
