You actually bring up a good point, that could very well be the case, like how Martian Manhunter was done, and that figure came out a little after the sets were released. The only thing that confuses me is, remember the prototype images for the 2015 wave? The Darkseid set showed supes with his original costume, and we're going to get him in his original costume in the official set. However, for the Braniac set it showed Supes with his Man of Steel outfit, so you would assume that the figure would be the New 52 (Because it's a different design on the same character and the New 52 hasn't been printed just yet)right? No, it was the same original superman, so why would they use a different version of superman in a prototype if it was just going to be the standard version? -

Still don't like the $39.99 price point for the Black Manta set (If it is). I mean, the other $39.99 set (Gorilla Grodd) has an additional figure and Big figure. Honestly, I think Killer Croc Big fig should have been included with the Black Manta set, because not every one likes AquaMan. Or if you already got him in the Mr.Freeze set, so a brand new big fig (Killer Croc) would probably increase the sets popularity. Granted the Black Manta has 40+ more pieces than the Gorilla Grodd set, but still, I think more people are going to go for the Gorilla Grodd set, as it has more bang for your buck. -

"Wow, the head print looks bad without the cowl." ??? you're going to have the cowl on the head, so why complain about the face print without the cowl? It's not like you were going to use it without the cowl. -

^not really They're employes, they don't have to love their work. As long as they get paid they're happy. Now with lego, they're more than likely a fan of it, but that doesn't mean they check up on the latest news everyday. -

Well, we basically know what we're getting in the Brainiac set. Brainiac from the game, Super girl from the game New 52 Superman- as he was not wearing the new 52 in the Darkseid set The poor mans Martian Man Hunter-as Lego Batman 3 shows him without Leg printing, while the polybag came with leg printing. Is there any photo of Darkseid from the comics that looks similar to the one in the set? Also, does Grodd look like the one from Lego Batman 3? Sorry for these questions, we're just really excited for these sets :D -

^Just2, Based on the images can you answer these? Does Green Arrow include a Green hood piece/ a hat, or is it just the hair? Is Batman in his New 52 outfit in both Gorilla Grodd and Black Manta sub? ^ that's basically what I'm saying. People are debating if we'll see Ant-Man in the AoU sets, it just doesn't add up. If he does make an appearance in the film (end credits scene more than likely) he won't be in the AoU sets. However, Lego have yet to make two movie waves for the same theme, so it'll be interesting if this is the first. -

It's not easy to tell what sets we're going to get in the future. Cap 2 got nothing, only time will tell. On the Ant-Man topic, I'm not 100% sure he'll be in The Avengers sets. Lego loves to make people by multiple sets, just to get the main cast of characters, and if they make Ant-Man in the Avengers sets, some people won't need a reason to get the Ant-Man movie sets (if they're going to be made anyhow) -

Obscure characters are good, but they'd be the entire CMF, as more popular characters are for the build sets. Granted, I'm just spit balling but still. If a CMF went on for a while, then we'd get characters like Calendar Man. -

I really wouldn't like a CMF for superheroes. It'd cost a lot of money for me, as my fingers are not as depth compared to some other folks. So I'd probably need to buy a box which cost a lot. As well I really need a code for a specific character, as some one like Blue Beetle is more interesting than say, Calendar Man. That's just how I see it. -

Why would a set with more minifigs cost less compared to a set with less minifigures. Doesn't add up. Not to mention you only get 1 vehicle (well I suppose the whatever Darkseid is using counts) while the less expensive set has three vehicles? Even if we're talking about Price to piece, (If the Darkseid invasion IS more expensive than GG) Why wouldn't it include more figures? -

I'm hoping these sets come out in, January. Since that's when the old release dates were in the US. But due to the Lego movie the sets got pushed back to March/April. It'd put a smile on my face since Arkham Knight doesn't come out until June 2nd 2015 *snip* -

I will still say that the Darkseid Invasion is my favorite. Great figures and vehicles. It's a set you'll love straight out of the box (and after putting it together) the Green Lantern is also a great set, but the rest of them....well I'll say that Brainiac attack is pretty nicely done. The batsub is really miss, maybe because I loved BrickQueen's bat sub design so much. But it just doesn't look good, I wish that Manta got a bigger sub instead of that Atlantis part and Batman's sub. Heck I even liked the $12 scuba one a lot more than that. Bat mech could've been a lot better, and same for the invisible jet (I'm pretty sure color wise it will change a lot when the legit photos come out). Not a big fan of paying a lot of money for the figures in sets like (BlackManta, Gorilla Grodd) unless batman has his new 52 in the set I won't get it immediately. -

Weather or not the cowl is printed or not. I like it a lot. Very dark knight returns-ish, which also leads that it was made for the Batman V Superman movie....I wonder how they'll do his power suit cowl when the BvS sets come out. -

More than likely Manta's "head" will be a whole mold like the simpsons figures. It would be pretty difficult to get that shape and have a minifig head underneath. -

^ Not a whole lot of $12 sets include three minifigures, other than battle packs. I could see a perfect $20 set, maybe a vehicle for batman and Deathstroke. -

This wave sounds great. Still wish we got a lot more sets. Featuring, BatMite, Shazam, John Stewart Green Lantern, and all the Adam West figures in physical form. But those are just on my wishlist. Glad to know that Lego realizes that this is a genre and not 'Batman and his friends' -

If I had to guess by assumptions, Batman will more than likely have his New 52 uniform in the mech set. Maybe in the Sub-but he's probably going to have a scuba uniform-or a new suit all together.
