My preferred x-wing is 7140, because it's the first. I like it more then all the others x-wing made later by LEGO. I think all the others x-wing are just copy of first. It gives me the sense of 'original trilogy' that i search in lego star wars sets. Does anyone feel like me about this? http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?S=7140-1

Thanks! Yes, I designed it by myself! I always wanted to do a star wars diorama, so now I finally made one! My next step is to do an imperial hangar for my imperial ships and walker, I already bought 150dollar of pieces from an american bricklink seller! It will be totally different from this rebel's hangar!

old minifigs? i used minifigs of original sets and some others orange pilots and scouts rebel, they are old too yes there are 2 green rebel minifigs from a newer set... but i thought they fit nice. There are also 2 minifigs from old space lego series

Photos are bad because I did with my phone. I see other MOCs have great photos maybe made with relfex camera.

In my opinion, for a real collector, very first X-wing (7140) should be a must. Then, do what you want. But explain why, please.

I would like to build an hangar fot my Star Wars Ships, I have only small ships (original trilogy): x wing 7140 y wing with tie fighter of Darth Vader 7150 tie fighter (the first made, the one with black and blue parts) 7146 The question is: how could I make an hangar for these ships? I can buy a grey baseplate but hangar has smooth floor, should I buy hundreds of smotth elements to cover all the floor??

OK, but i'm doing an Original Trilogy rebel's hangar... I would like to put also original A-wing, but I don't have too much space... it's not a huge hangar... but I'm sure I want 7140, not later version of X-wing
