Some of you may know I’m very enthusiastic about the prospect of for working as a designer at LEGO, this would help me get familiar and practice the work process as a real LEGO designer would. Step by step you will discover the background of the design process in The LEGO Group, It will also contain a LEGO set I designed myself for the project; such as the experiments, sketch models and sketches. The portfolio of this project will be uploaded to Flickr and Youtube. I plan to finish it off very soon and it will be up before October 2014. This year The Simpsons theme has taken what I assume is a break therefore I found an opportunity to create the next model that would succeed 2015’s 71016 - Kwik-E-Mart. With superheroes and pop culture being a primary aspect of LEGO's relationship with many well-known IP's I found Android's Dungeon to be a worthy fit with the theme.     Yup, I may post an updated version once they are released. Thanks, the sketch was done last Monday and it was built within a couple of hours on LEGO Digital Designer the same day. Throughout I spent week trying to perfect the design.

    Thanks! 70904 - Clayface Splat Attack has the hinge plate in brown so that helps but the actual bearing doesn't, I might use the lighter brown / flesh ones included with that set too or just stick to black.

    I reckon I've come up with a new building technique using a 30134 - Staircase 7x4x6 as rafters. I apologise in advance if this technique has been posted before. The advantages of using a 30134 - Staircase 7x4x6 piece in this context is allowing the roof to be structurally stronger and they also represent the wooden rafters that go diagonally across a typical roof.     I've seen numerous builders who have a unique body of original work and I was wondering where you guys get inspiration from. I've noticed most of them are Castle and Sci-Fi based however is there anything specific that inspires your MOC's? At the end of 2016 I was reviewing my LEGO creation’s and I noticed the lack of innovative and original ideas, most of them are recreations and explorations of existing intellectual properties.     LEGO Star Wars 2017 Pictures and Rumors

    -2017: 40th Anniversary of Star Wars (1977) -2017: 10th Anniversary of #10179 - Ultimate Collector's Millennium Falcon -Which theme will warrant a 6,000+ piece model? -Which icon would realistically beat #10189 - Taj Mahal's piece count of 5,922? I reckon all the possibilities point towards it happening. I'm sure the price isn't going to please everyone and if it does most people may not have the space to display such a large model. Nevertheless I hope they do release a new one that is much better than 2007's #10179 with a much more realistic design and possibly key interior details. I've found this fantastic MOC on Flickr by Marshal Banana, I hope would hope it's something along the lines of this model. If that's the case I'll be willing to purchase it regardless of price and a coffee table to display it on. I reckon the new UCS Millennium Falcon will go down in history being the largest LEGO set ever and I think it will stay that way for a couple of decades. It will be interesting if they announce it on April 1st and everyone reckons they are trolling the fans given how much popularity surrounds the original #10179 model.     Thanks, Marge’s Orange Station Wagon is pronominally featured in the show’s intro therefore it seemed like logical choice for it to complement the building given its absence in the two previous sets.

    Thanks, the awning was inspired by a couple of previous Android's Dungeon MOC's online, nevertheless I'm pleased how my awning supports turned out which was my own concept.

    Concept Sketch: 10255 - Assembly Square The next Modular Building '10255 - Assembly Square' will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of the LEGO Creator, Modular Buildings. With this sketch I wanted to explore and get my ideas forward on what I'd like to be featured and included before the press release which is rumoured for November 2016. I personally feel a LEGO Store in this product is essential to this concept, additionally this concept features an apartment building and a government building with a couple of trees and benches for the exterior. All of these features will be in the centre of four 32x32 Baseplates, the building would be half the sizes of regular modular building much like 10218 - Pet Shop with various heights.
