I will be extremely disappointed if the TIE Crawler is indeed $50. And with all the evidence.... Ebay for me. :'-(
-
The guy who posted it said he flipped the pictures. Very odd.

But it is near impossible to find in the thread where new sets are.To me, it would be more organized if each seperate announcement had its own thread, and this thread could be a general discussion of them all. But anyway.... As for the actual sets, they're ok. The Republic Cruiser looks good, but like others have said, a little blocky. Hopefully it has a bit of an interior, and it's supposed to cost $75 USD, correct? That's ok, but the figs make up for it, though I wish the crew had other faces. |-/ I'm not suprised by the Hoth base. The figs will be nice (yay for increasing my non-existant Rebel army :-D), but I pray it won't cost $50 USD, as it is kinda skimpy. Couldn't it at least have a tiny control room? :'-(

:-D LOL :-D I wasn't thinking! :-$ :-D

I have the Essential Guide to Vehicles and Vessels, and I know the TIE Crawler doesn't have the side guns, but I still think they're awesome. And the black stormtroopers! *wub* I'm really digging the N1 and Droid Fighter; the Naboo pilot and Anakin are great. :'-) The Slave I looks better, especially with that printed hatch, but since I already have Maul, I still probably won't get it.
-
If that's what the AT-AT will look like, then no. I'd prefer a non-walking one, but if it looks like the old one (I never got it), then maybe. This is going to be an expensive year. :'-(

Why did I read this review??? :'-( Now I have to get it. :'-) And the story was awesome. :-D -
I will be one of the few here who won't be getting it.
-
Can't wait for this baby; I just hope it's not more than $20 USD.... Such an expensive year. :'-(

That's the best Master Chief I've ever seen. Those posable arms are sweet icing on the cake. Excellent job! :'-)
-
I'm also disappointed by the Jedi Interceptor's price. Thankfully, it's the set that I least want to get out of the other two summer sets, so I may skip it (especially considering these 3-5 other mystery sets 8-

And yet we have sets with guns in them. :-| Shame, as it looks like a cool set.

I am in the mood to start MOCing again (yay that exams finally ended *sweet*), but before I do, I would like to show off my only 2 (slightly old) creations, so that my general technique(s) can be improved with constructive criticism of you lovely EBers. :-P And without further ado.... My first MOC (that I posted online), the Republic Rapid Deployment Transport: Republic RDT. And my most recent (I haven't made a new MOC in a while :-(), Order 66: Assassination: 'splosion!
-
Yeah, the RDT is a flying transport. :-D

That's just a MOC on FBTB: http://www.fbtbforums.net/viewtopic.php?t=17762 :-D

I haven't seen one (or any other Star Wars sets, actually :'-( ) at my local Meijer's for a month or two now. :-( At least I managed to pick up two while they were still around. *sweet*

French Toy Fair 2007 : the pictures !
Darth Andrew replied to brickerik's topic in General LEGO Discussion
The Star Wars sets look great. I wish the Naboo Starfighter had the chrome, but otherwise, I will definently get that, along with the other two (though I pray the MTT isn't over $100. :'-().
