So instead of a post-apoc MOC with zombies, how about a PRE-apoc MOC with zombies? :-P I give you Outbreak: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/48496 I need to order some Harry Potter troll heads now. :-D :'-(

Yeeeeah, so my previous version was done over 2 years ago. Two years of brutal, non-stop work (aka the day I'm sick from school) on this MOC has resulted in: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/DarthAnd...unk/mainpic.bmp MOCpages Flickr Comments? Criticisms? Blatant insults?
-
Thanks. It's just a random Jedi. After all, I don't want to ruin Star Wars canon by killing off someone too early.
-
I'm digging the figs, especially the black fedoras and new outfit for Indy. But I'm also interested in the black/tan cabin pieces, as that could work for an idea of mine.
-
OH MY GOD So it didn't fall? What happened?
-
lol, I was being sarcastic when I said it took two years. It literally took just one day of building.
-
Thanks for the comments, everyone. Psh, what would YOU do if you were sick? pr0visorak, I'm a senior in high school, so I might as well not be in school. And the weapons are actually the normal Star Wars blasters included in newer sets with these on the barrels.
-
I have to disagree with you there. We saw what was (or wasn't) in the Ark in Raiders, and we briefly saw the power of the Holy Grail. However, I still had a lot of questions after the movie's end. I wondered where Spalko and the flying saucer went; even Indy said he didn't want to go into the interdimensional portal, which still left a sense of mystery.

I really wasn't sure to put this. Yeah, it's kinda based off the upcoming Indy IV movie, but it doesn't actually deal with it. So here is the tank I built today, the GLORIOUS T-53: http://mocpages.com/moc.php/56795 EDIT: I also made a scene for it, titled "The Cold War Heats Up:" http://mocpages.com/moc.php/56887 Comments? Constructive criticisms? Soviet Russias?

In Soviet Russia, T-53 drives you!

Me too. It probably would have started World War III. @Joey Lock and zero: No, but most of it is from River Chase and Jungle Cutter. Some of the plates that cover the treads I used from my own collection, along with a few dark green tiles and the dark grey dish on top of the turret. I also got the barrel from the AT-AP set. Other than that, it's all from those two sets. -

Thanks for all the comments! I made a little scene for it today: http://mocpages.com/moc.php/56887 @TinyPiesRUs: It's extremely sturdy, though the plough can come off if you nudge it too much. -
Ehh, mine may or may not be worthy enough: http://mocpages.com/folder.php/22046 I really need to add more. :/
-
I really like this, especially the updated Theater and Star Wars section. *sweet*

Ah, I think the lighting messed them up a bit. They're actually light orange, and they came in the Indiana Jones Lost Tomb set. :-)

Any news or photos on Toy Fair London or NYC??
Darth Andrew replied to gusmoore17's topic in General LEGO Discussion
The Indy sets look very good, along with the Batman ones (especially that Tumbler!). I might even get a Speed Racer set or two; however, the Star Wars line, though the vehicles are amazing, the figs and now prices are turning me off. I think I'll just get the AT-TE. :-/ -
I have to agree with Bobskink. Sure, the vehicles look amazing, but all the figs? Bleh. I am especially disappointed that the clone troopers look cartoony compared to their original Episode II incantations. I will hold final judgement when people start reviewing them, but this wave is a letdown for me so far. :-/

Indiana Jones Part 4 - Set Pictures are available

All I care about is: Nazis vs. Soviets, baby! X-D -
^^It's been like that in many sets with lightsabers since the Episode III line, at least. I officially don't like Anakin's animated head. :-(
-
Isn't that from The Office episode "Ben Franklin?" :-D

MOCpage: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/40962 Gallery: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=284792 Tell me what ya think. :-)

Try this pic: http://www.mocpages.com/image_zoom.php?moc...4952/1194904058 I couldn't get a better shot of it due to horrendously crappy lighting at all the other angles I tried. |-/
-
Yeah, they're supposed to represent a bunch of locals, but I don't have any others that can be called more Star Warsey. :-/ What kind of wall pics do you want to see more of?

copy/paste from FBTB :-$ I read about the DIE-Wing in one of the X-wing books, named so for its slow speed (Y-wing engines) and weak hull (TIE cockpit). I'm practically done with it, but I really want to have anyone's input on fixing a stability issue, along with constructive criticism. Basic shots: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/DarthAnd...IE-Wingv1/1.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=2792265 These two pics show where the DIE is having stability problems with connecting the engines to the cockpit. This pic shows (in the red circles) that the 1x6 plate isn't exactly aligned with connecting the cockpit to the engine: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/DarthAnd...IE-Wingv1/4.jpg This shows that as a result, the 1x6 plate bends (on both sides), meaning that the engines are also wobbily: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/DarthAnd...IE-Wingv1/3.jpg This was the only way how I could connect the engines to the cockpit, in addition to using pins. Though it isn't a huge issue, I'd prefer to have it more stable. :-/

I think my very first was the 7130 Snowspeeder: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemPic.asp?S=7130-1 I should probably rebuild it. :'-)
-
Thanks for all the comments, guys. *sweet* @Starwars4J: The problem is that which makes the engines wobbily. What do you mean?
