Yes, but I really don't believe father is just a word for protector/turaga. Father is used as a word for teachers in religions but I guess using that term in this simplified story would just make things confusing. I strongly believe there are actual sisters, brothers, fathers and mothers on Okoto. However I really hope genders are not tied to the tribes since it would give a really uncomfortable place in the society to the members of the water tribe...

I was okay with Titan Takanuva as a set. But in the story he wasn't even grown so that really don't make much sense. Witch Doctor on the other hand was made giant for the story. What I'm not liking in LOSS storywise is that he is much smaller as as set than what appears in the story. Look at the NYCC presentation photos and compare the size of Kopaka, Lewa and Gali to it. https://www.facebook...pe=3&permPage=1 I would have preferred a much larger LOSS than what we got.

in the animation and such the PoF doesn't seem to have any wider shoulders than the others. I'd say he has elbows, but on the set shoulders arejust rised up, which is silly. but explains that he has elbows.

The mask of the combination should be something that is common with at least one color... and not by a surprise. It should be black.

Neat set indeed, but once again a very bad video review. Pictures look nice though. Your doing Vader? Really hope we see Black Sicks do the rest, these guys just aren't baked for this job.

Yeah, it doesn't cover the sides properly. But you can actually set the chest armor a little lover, though it's not a steady connection... that actually explains why my MOC looks incomplete with the breakout armor. But I don't have any Brain attack armors. Damn.

Ungh. If I'm going to buy these all from the Legoshop it takes around 220 euros (+ shipping)... aand 180 euros if I buy them from a local shop nearby. Curse you inflated euro...

Going a little offtopic here, but why you and some of other experienced builders don't use the inbuilt screenshot system of LDD? I really don't believe you wouldn't be aware of it so why you prefer the build screen? And VBBN, it looks a little unpractical mostly due to the exposed balls. Nice concept, can definetly see why they dropped it though.

Is the build done around the speculation that Wairuha is a female? Either yes or no, it looks so much better than the original... excpect for the unpractical looking wings. I actually like to think them them just as hands holding weapons... gives them an aztec god sort of feeling.

Dang, all of these sets have grown on me. Gali for sure doesn't look like that manly as I thought. Gonna be the death of my wallet.

As said with more articulation LOSS would had been hard to get stand up. Same thing they did did with Pewku. My main problem with LOSS is that the back of spider is not that arachnoid, side covering is nearly no existent and when looken from behind it looks horrendously bad and uncovered especially due to the last legs being just straight and not towards the back. I'm also bothered by the fact that LOSS has six legs, not four like the other spiders or 8 like real spiders. It just makes it look a completetely other species from the skull spiders. There's also no conflict in the set. So, how this would have been an amazing set. -Head would had been buildable, not just a printed chest (I don't hate it but it's not that good). -A protector included with less armor than most, showing it just as a normal guy. -Protector's stud launcher in it's mouth to spit poison. -More back cover -25$ or more depending if the protector is included or not Keep the color scheme though, it's awesome and no more articulation as it would break the function.

It's very nice that we get 13 of the studs and not just six. Something they totally should have done with every characters sphere launchers. Overall protectors have the best amount of ammuniation, then the piraka with 3 extra, codrak blasters with only two extra, squid launchers, rhotukas and nynhrah blasters with one extra. Inika had no extra ammo, nor did Phantoka Makuta and Toa alike. I can't remember if there was multiple kanoka disks though. The worst ones were Thornraxx with only one of them in the set and same goes to the hero factory launchers. I would have hoped that the ice protector would had elbows instead of the ice dagger. It just seems to get in the way. Also when I take a closer look to these the sets look a lot more "fatter" compared to the ones in the animation.

I'll eat my hat if they reuse those IFB monster heads in sets. Okay, maybe the jaw piece could be used, but with a different head. Or vise versa.

As for new parts, there are the two masks (duh) and the shoulder armour. Nah, no new mold for shoulder armour Actually Ekimu has a gear on his back in the animation and the protectors in the animation pics of the NYCC presentation don't have. This could mean that the Mask Makers indeed have gear functions. I really hope we get Makuta and Ekimu in the same set. I think we could except they have the gearbox connected into the protector torso.

Why they want it to be a full mask this time? It wasn't referenced in any way expect to it''s shape that the vahi is only half of the mask (or am I missing something?) Also, why did TTV said it has something to do with time trap and maybe Krakua?
