I'd say the mask function is just in the sets. It would be nice if the masters would had different heads to the protectors/villagers to distinguish them from eachother and really give the alien look. But those are mostly hidden in the sets so it doesn't really matter.

Bah, no Bonkles on frontpage and only two pages overall. And the release of February mostly in Europe. Damn it. But please let those prizes be same here in north.

Wait... Kopaka has no X-ray vision or anything. Why he still has the scopes? It's for resembleance reason there for sure, but does it bear any kind of function? It better be something like a binocular at least. Similiar to the fact that Gali has a scuba dive mask with no ability to breath underwater, or being underwater for longer periods of time.

Well Makuta's mask is the mask of control and the golden skullspider mask's purpose is to control the skull spiders. Why would he forge an another mask of control when he has his own?

    Bionicle 2015 Discussion

Sure, transparent would fit him like a dream. It's strange actually that unlike all the other sets, Lewa has no transparent bones or shells. Female spiders tend to be larger and more "fat" than males. If it has space to carry the other spiders it helps to give it a feeling of a broodmother. And if it really is partly humanoid it's even easier to make it look like a female. When compared to the real life spiders this sounds like a great idea. But here in Bionicle the LOSS controls them trough the mask, not because those are his/her children. What if LOSS was just a outcast spider of his species and was sent to Okoto but stumbled upon the mask and took control of the neutral spiders on the island trough the mask? But because of similiar color scheme, and actions I believe that Makuta was transformed into a spider and eventually found his old mask of control and took control of the spiders. I really don't know how and why he transformed and why the same happened to his mask...

I really don't think changing Lewa's yellow shells to lime is that a great idea, think about a MOC that would use reddish brown and dark orange as main colors... no please.

    Bionicle Protector Alternate Builds

Damn I wish the protectors would have had seperate masks and a more diffrent color scheme to the toas. Now they all are just clones and fitting something like that into the story is a real challenge, unless you don't care about the restrictions of it... in which I tend to stuck into.

Just for the sake of things got to post this: http://41.media.tumb...9evco1_1280.png I regret every single line, it's a very rough sketch and will be nothing more. Now that you mentioned it Kalhiki, I must use that as wallapaper too, no need to link it though. Think I can find it on my own. Ah, found it but took a much better version from the 1080p video they uploaded: http://fc03.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2014/340/5/a/protector_bsckground_by_gk733-d88xzj7.png

What about those programs wih humans in them? Or ponies? I guess it's common even somehow with transformers if I remember right. It was rather confusing to explain to my parents when I was seven year old when they asked if they are their children or if there are momma bonkles. It was pretty hard to explain that no they are built somwhere... heck I didn't even know because it was not revealed how matorans and toas are made by some god-like creatures who created demigod-like creature who can create matorans.

At this point I believe that people who went to the convention gave 2 flying rhotukas of the first episode because: "we are AFOLs and we don't like Bionicle because it's simplier and because of that aimed to younger people so why we would record this thing at all" Sorry for being impatient with this thing but I haven't heard anything from it afterwards.

I'm aware of the map but I think the one on the website is... bloody Karzahni, It's actually smaller. Strange because when zoomed in the one on the website looks better. Guess Facebook dumped down the quality.

If it weren't for the amazing backgrounds in the new animations it would have looked so much worse and possibly made me hate the entire thing. Thankfully that isn't the case and I can say it's actually pretty good.
