The lower piece seems like it would be bent if stepped on. But I have more problems with the torso shell being so gappy from the sides.

It was not only the budget factor stopping them to have recolors of the masks. They were all named same as the toa's elements. So from a story perspective having mask of fire as blue or white would had been... well kinda odd. I hope the "masks of speed and strength" was not just an easteregg but also a tease for the return of mask of powers next year, as from story perspective it would at least work better than this year. Remains to be seen if the booster pack stays deleted. All in all, it could had just meant the gold skull mask...

So now that I've built him. He's a marvelous set and much larger out of the box that any pictures i've seen make him look like. The gaps on his torso don't bother me too now I see it in hand but the three empty balljoints in his back stick kinda badly, not too badly but still. For 35$ he's nearly there but not quite and makes me even more stoked for Umarak the Destroyer. I like Grievious a little more than I expected and might buy Vader as well.

I don't want to be nitpicky here but that hexagonal version of the font was used from from only 2006 onward. In fact they scrapped it in 2009 and returned to the circular version because of that years ancient setting. Lovely imagery non the less.

If Kopaka would be included in the summer wave his set number due to it's high prize would be before/after Umarak the destroyer. Not before Ekimu as it stands now.

I would close the10$ Ekimu out, it's just not possible. He is most likely 15$ Since 10$ is not enough and the first sets always have the lowest price, there have to be cheaper than 20 sets too, Otherwise it would be a bad business decision.

Let's have little math. Earth is obviously part of Quake beast. Fire is obviously part of Lava beast. This leaves Stone as the only other possible element for Lava. So Lava is Fire+Stone Water is obviously part of Storm. This leaves Ice and Jungle. Would you really associate Ice with Quake? If "no" then it's part of the Storm beast, it's that simple. Meaning Storm Beast is Water + Ice And Quake Beast is Earth + Jungle This also balances the toa against the beasts. Meaning every beast has one 15$ rivalry and one 20€ rivalry. Or they are just Fire, Ice and Earth but that would be stupid because it would left three toa without an enemy.

Ice could work but word "storm" doesn't really suit a I ice themed creature instead of say, Blizzard, Frost, Freeze, Cold and so on. So I'm guessing it's water. The rest two are rather obvious.

These sound more like disasters associated with elements than elements combined. So Storm is Water, Lava is Fire and Quake is Earth. So if were going to get another three would probably be Frost Beast - Ice aand... I can't really guess what disaster would be associated with Jungle and Stone/Sand

As there's been floating leaks of names and supposedly pictures very soon I just want to close this so called "skull kid" out. Yeah, I spread the rumors about it. They are both stupid ideas and just enough convincing so most people will not take them as real but I've encountered some... I'd never to try to fake leak a real thing. And now my "jokes" are becoming pretty predictable :D ...I thought better of myself. I might be making things up but didn't the team said at one point that there are 30 different elements in the new Bionicle?

I think this confirms enough for the playtester speaking truth Had to say I doubted him but this is enough for me. But I honestly don't know if those are names for summer sets or not. Two Umarak's being included sounds kinda stupid in the same wave but maybe they are names for a species/group?

It wasn't axed for that reason only but it's a considerable argument since an overcomplex story doesn't help in any way to boost sales for a kids toy.

...not even close. AFoLs make around 10% or even less of Lego's sales. Expect that number to be a lot smaller for Bionicle. I'm not going to continue this debate. Arguing with you is pointless and this is going way too off-topic.
