So I think I know how this goes now. The torso is built from two parts. What confirms is that at least Terak seems to be using the upper part on his back.

Kopaka's lover legs look more technic-y that's really it. I have to wonder why it looks like that Onua ang Gali have blue eyes though? ...and there's a new pic on 4chan about Kopaka's leg. It's a new mold we haven't yet seen on the leaks, looks really G1-ish. I absolutely love it with all of it's connection points and how it covers the bone better than a normal shell. Screw that, there is now a whole pic of Kopaka in much better quality! Rest should come very soon! I'll take my words back Kopaka rocks!

The next wave pretty much covers what you mentioned when the creatures and toa "unite" so I wouldn't bet on having more animal themed waves after this one for a long while. It seems more likely to have something that is influenced by Nexo Knights because so far 2015 recycled ideas and themes from Ninjago and 2016 seems to do the same from Chima. + I it would make sense for Lego to try and unify the action themes more.

I think Umarak will be on par with them, the problem is rather that they don't want to make the larger toa so complex looking as opposed to that they can't.

I think you count me into this group? They don't seem that great but sure I'm going to bet they will look better when we see final/better pics. But having only one new weapon mold truly sucks and that isn't going to change.

Nah, it's the same it just hasn't been dualinjected (yet?) Look at Ketar's arms, does that really look like skull armor to you? And I'm not mad about the creatures sharing the same mask, it works just fine. All in all -Ikir still uses those old flame pieces, othervise look's pretty boss -Terak Looks okay, gold doesn't suit as well -Melum On first glance looks like a recolored Terak, not really a fan of The rest of the creatures sound really interesting. -Tahu looks really cluttered, awesome mask, weapons better have some function to redeem it looking horrible with those technic bars. -Onua XL-legs are okay, I guess. Can't say much about the mask, weapon is cool. the area that connects his arms seems really gappy partly due to him being in a really bad pose. -Kopaka Cool mask, stud shooter looks really meh, can't judge before better photo -Gali Don't like if she doesn't have any dark azure. Dark trans-blue is good, pretty unfeminine pose that obscures most of her legs, and lower arms (Do I spot a bare lightblue trans-bone?) thigh armoring could be similiar to this years Tahu but with the new add-on and 3-long trans-blue shell instead. remains to be seen if the weapon will look better. -Lewa Mask looks better, weapons will have a wobbly connection. -Pohatu Good looking mask, shoulders look well covered and I really like the overall appearance, remains to be seen if the legs will change that, flail sounds great Umarak -Love those antlers, pretty unimaginitive weapon, looks like an actual titan, finally someone who is taller than Tahu. -MoCo It looks so much better than I imagined. Overall, I hope they will do a major overhaul for the new add-on, it looks cluttered and doesn't blend well with the sets. But then again, these pictures have a very bad quality and these are prelimnaries so I don't wan't to judge them too hard, these sets seem to have mroe specialised connections and parts so something will possibly change.

...ugh. Either I'm seeing things or all of the toa have the same weapon mold and Onua and Pohatu don't have new ones to begin with, this is really just what I didn't ask for. So far it looks like: -9 masks (toa, all creatures share the same, Umarak's and MoCo) -Creatures hopefully have a new head mold underneath -The toa (and possibly Umarak) have a seperate hair looking piece under the mask -One new add-on that is like mixture of the ifB cocoon and 2.0 fire armor that is colored with silver/gold and dualinjected with elemental color which I can only describe as weird. -I am unsure if there are two torso shells or just one. -One new weapon that is dualinjected across many of the toa with their element color and silver. -Traps have one new mold that is repeated by making it non asymmetric -Onua's hammer could have new a mold but it could have been made for Nexo-Knights/Technic. -depends if the vorox/skrall armor can be counted It's less than what we had in the launch wave which was around 15, and given that we can't be sure about those hairpieces it could be even less, I doubt the rest of the creatures have unique molds.

So I've noticed a pattern and it seems likely they are going to stay on it. 2015 was pretty much Ninjago and 2016 seems to use ideas from Chima a lot. So something akin to Nexo Knights for 2017?

On further inspection... http://board.ttvpodc...820a0229932.png The legs are actually same size due to the lower one being shorter. And I think I see something that resembles a torso balljoint behind Umarak's chest plate ad it's not as low as the one compared to Grinder, but higher than on most of the sets. But then again he has the same neckextender as Grinder. So I've come to conclusion, Umarak is only two modules + antlers taller than Tahu :( Oh well he's still 10 more imposing villain than some six legged bug. And people weren't kidding, there is a weapon stored on his left thigh. Remains to be seen if the thigh area is more complex than it seems to determine his height.

Hmm... I'm unsure about Umarak's brown. Those pieces in start of his antlers have only appeared in the normal brown and black (http://alpha.brickli...r=120#T=C&C=120) and the rest of the "brown" is the same color. But then again the brown on his bow seems certainly different, because of that I think I'm going with dark red as well.

Umarak seems to be a lot taller than Tahu. He's ribcage piece is set higher like on Grinder and he has an extended neck just like him too. his thigh bones are gray and I could assume it's the same one Vader uses + friction joint. So one module taller from there. Umarak's lover leg looks like it could be also one module taller than Tahu's. He really is a towering figure. 4 modules taller than Tahu and I'm not even counting in those horns.

Four sets got leaked on 4chan, PICS even. I think CMC4csi and Twistlaw need new glasses, that is the same chestplate but with different torso armor. Pretty sure they will have gearboxes.

This is the case. If they have a variation of that torso without those balljoints. (such piece was by a mistake in the SW commercial: http://board.ttvpodcast.com/uploads/db5640/original/3X/a/2/a2eb4277545deab16412d217aeefc7404cfb9945.png ) Then it's entirely possible to fit the gearbox, but can they stretch budget enough for that?
