Can Heroes change gear in a single turn? Or does it take two turns - one to take off the gear, one to put on the new? Also, can applying Venoms to Weapons count as a Crescent Free Item action?

"It pains me to do this...but you're not the real Jinnipher. Diana's Special isn't too bad either, but it could easily waste some Phoenix Essences/time that doesn't need to be wasted.

OoC: Yeah, it'll probably be better just doing mass damage. I'm waiting for WBD to finish posting all of the stats before I give final suggestions as to our targets.

OoC: Could you clarify what this means? Because all of the enemies on the flanks are level 0...

"Actually, belay that action. Ezeran, given as how we're about to face a Demon, you might might change your Etherium Pauldrons (SP:3, immune to sealed; backwear), out for your Hood of the Elementalist (SP:1, *Absorbs darkness*; headwear, suitable to anyone). It's a small hit to your Defense, but I imagine the potential health recouped will be well worth it. Alternatively, if you don't want to do that, then can I, or someone else, borrow it? (I'd suggest Torald wear it, but he can't get rid of that Pandemonicon, and he can only wear one artifact.) Again, given Rosier's species, your Diamond, and possibly your Ruby, will be most effective here. Torald - still keep that Ruby handy. Maybe drink one of your Grand Tonics? That will fill your ether up to almost full again. Anyone that has spare Light-elemental weapons should speak up - we'll need them." "I told you she would attack the other worlds!" Lind gritted his teeth as his worst fears manifested themselves into reality. Hearing his crew talk, the Black Knight snaps back to the moment. "Ezeran, I'd get those Fire Bombs ready...Torald, I'd wait till one of us was able to size her up first, but I'd get your Ruby out of its holder..." The Munchkin stepped up to the demon, though pausing at the back row. "HEY! ROSY! GOT SOMETHING TO SAY!" He drank a Nostrum free item action, and leaping forward, suddenly slashed Rosier four times with the Bifrost Blades. "This ends here."

@Waterbrick Down OoC: The italics were meant to be that Lind was whispering - unless she was listening directly over his shoulder, Asa shouldn't have been able to hear him.

"You bet we're doing this." The Black Knight recapped everything necessary for anyone nearby. "So, we're still figuring out the specifics of the plan, but I hope Karie's throat is feeling strong, because we may be needing her to sing an Angelic Aria, while we use a lot of Fire Bombs. Beyond that, I was wondering if anyone from the Dragon House party might have any idea how to get out of these vines, or this dream? Anything you might have seen or heard along the way?"

"Like the moon!" The Black Knight nodded as he welcomed the mage to the group. OoC: Your character - and Torald! - were both part of all of the following, though I couldn't add you to the PM for multiple reasons. Sorry the formatting is so bad - missing some of the key quotes people were responding to - but hopefully you'll be able to get the gist.

"...You're right Dyric, there's no reason why any one might want to have a private discussion...about the elections." There was a note of something...Sarcasm? Haste? in the Rogue's remark. "In fact, Dyric - I remember you having some wise observations about the old Union's elections - would you care to come and share them with us? You too, Karie - when you're done with Masson..." Just for curiousity's sake, Lind stepped toward the door himself.

"How...wonderful." Lind casually lays his Thorn down on the table. "No reason a few friends can't talk in private about the elections, Dyric." Something about what Lind was saying seemed to have more emphasis than the rest. The new face arrives. "...What a coincidence..." Lind reached into his pocket, and tried to assess the situation of one of his Military Grade Firebombs.

"Scheherazade, bring this man a Mead!" He brandished the coins generously.

@Waterbrick Down OoC: Since it's the end of the quest and all, it doesn't matter, but my Power Bonus should be 2 (Crescent Seal), and although I never say no to extra cash, my Gold should be 263 - unless we looted some more off of Rosier? 303 - 90(to Germ) + 50(Fort battle). "Tell Masson I said hello! And that I hope we can quest again soon - really liked working with that chap!" Lind watched Karie walk toward the door, intently. The Black Knight chuckled along with the Rogue Thief. "Well said!" He reached into his Bag of Holding, and pulled out a Smelling Salts, and a Mulled Wine. He shook his head regretfully, "Spent a pretty penny on these Salts...ah, well. They'll christen our triumph, as well as they would have our fight." He raised the vials. "To our victory!" As he swallowed them both down, he nodded at Atramor. "What are you having? Round on me!"

Lind leaned casually back against the table. "Our memories are coming back to us slowly - after a hard battle like that, it's no wonder we can't remember anything! Besides, all of the Veterans are here, and they agree that we won the battle - are you calling the Veterans liars?" He jerked the demon down off of the table. "Now, let's focus on more important things - like planning for the Elections!" "I'll keep him in mind, but it would be nice to finally have a decent weapon. And this is a bit more than just "decent"."

"Shame - I was looking forward to it! Glad all of you took such good care of her, though! He picked up the Thorn. "Very impressive!" He thrashed it around a few times. "A weapon worthy of an arch-demon."

Lind loots all of the bodies they pass. The Black Knight shook his head at Hestia's news. "Ulric gave up? Well, that makes sense - always pinned him as a coward, really. Shame, was looking forward to fighting him!" He looked around the Hall. "But, sadly, that would have meant fighting some of you - so, a happy resolution all around!" OoC: Thanks, @Waterbrick Down - I didn't want to have to fight Skrall! "So, Asa - what loot drops did I take off of Rosier before I went down?" After waiting to hear what Asa said, he stepped forward, and clapped his hands loudly, so that everyone could hear. "GENTLEMEN!" He thought a moment. "Oh, and LADIES!" He thought an additional moment. "And...the rest of you!" He stumbled, but barely managed to save himself. "It is time for the elections! Let us break apart into parties, and discuss this matter in detail!" Lind shrugged. "Throlar...sometimes things just are that easy. We are heroes, after all." He looked at Asa. "Can't say my memory of it is too great, but I'm sure once I found out what I looted, I'll remember everything much, much better." Loot kind of does that for me...I forget the quests, but I always remember the loot!" He was aware, as he spoke, that his voice was slightly intimidating. Can't have her giving it all to Atramor, now. Remember how long it took him to divvy up the loot last time...! And we specialize in the same gear, he'll probably keep the good bits for himself... "GENTLEMEN of the FORMER CRESCENT UNION!" He waved at Germ, Ezeran, and Torald. "LET US PARLAY IN PRIVATE, as I am sure the rest of these fine people are doing!" He nodded at Throlar. "You weren't originally part of the Union, but we can overlook that." He pointed at the table where Karie, Atramor, and Dyric were sitting. "If the old guard can plan out who they're going to elect, than surely us new guard can as well!" TO THE PMs, GENTLEMEN!

"Can't argue with you there." The Munchkin nodded. "50 Gold, two Deadly Venoms, four Fire Bombs...not a bad haul. Thanks, Benji, for all the swift work out there!" He dabbed one of the Deadly Venoms onto the Bifrost Blades. "This should give Rosier one heck of a poisoning..." He nodded at Atramor. "Thanks for giving me the second - I'll make sure it goes to good use." Lind tossed the 4 Fire Bombs towards Ezeran. "Hang on to these for the moment, will you?" He winked. "Maybe we'll get the chance to do to Rosy what we missed out on with the Founders...those plants it loves seemed pretty vulnerable to fire the last time we ran into some!"

"If it's a blank slate - then I will gladly keep you in mind when I cast my votes. Although, in such a case, I might...well, in such a case, running myself, might not be out of the question, given as how then I wouldn't be shoving someone else more deserving out of a place." But if it's limited to original classes..." The Munchkin's voice trailed off, and he looked at the ground. "It pains me to say this...especially after you specifically asked me to give you a chance...but if it's limited to original classes, barring, again, certain circumstances...my vote must lie elsewhere - and it's not me."

He looked seriously at Rone. "Rone...I'm not trying to stand in the way of your chance. I agree that you certainly deserve it. But as you said...there are many Rogues - and, really, even a few Rangers - who also deserve a chance. I'm neither saying I want it - nor denying it. I want to keep helping the city - and with the Union gone, well, there aren't many good options for that. I have even less connections than Throlar to the Watch - if I'm not mistaken, this is the first time I've ever met any of them in person. You'll probably tell me that "I can help by being a good Hero" - but, frankly, I'd like to do more than that. And Rogue...well, given my colorful past, I believe that Rogue would be the only class I could represent. I don't know what I plan to do. I don't want to stand in the way of people who have a passion - but there are people here, who have been here a much shorter time, who also have a passion. One that may not be able to be filled just by, "being a good Hero". But I am glad that we can agree that it should go to the people who are actually seeking change."

"It does need people who can stop those kinds of things...but if we don't have trustworthy people to make the little differences, then what good is it? You may save the world - but you'll lose the cities and the people. But, if you really feel that you can do more good as a Hero, than so be it."

"No, I imagine showing up with the badge and just announcing himself as captain would work out just as well as one might imagine. But I do think he should hold on to it until this mess is sorted out - and add himself to any list of candidates that present themselves." "Interesting - which Archdemon did you fight?"

"What rule says they don't? The Copper Fox? Well, if I remember right, he's a "Jack of All Trades," who "started out as a street performer," but then began to "use his talent of imitation to trick people out of their valuables". Don't know about you, but that sure sounds like a Rogue to me. Right now? Well, his ability to match any hero's fighting style would lead me to believe he's a Mime, though I suppose I could be mistaken... And yes, I do remember. That's part of the reason I'm bringing the topic up, actually. I want to remind people that they should start mulling over who they want to represent them as Veterans, and who would best represent Eubric - otherwise, it's just going to be a brief popularity contest. We need to get moving, but there's no reason we can't speculate as we move."
