Heroica RPG - Quest #159: An Unexpected Return
Lind Whisperer replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in The Heroica Archive
Lind surveyed the battle conditions. "Looking good! We need at least two more attacks on White Hatchlings D! Anyone else, Green or White Hatchlings C could use some support." The Black Knight checked the battle line. "Heckz, you should probably go support them, Althior, you as well - that kind of firepower will do more good on the ground. Also, you're both Hastened, so you won't loose a turn." -

"Well spotted!" Lind shouted back. "Everyone, ignore Green Hatchlings D!" Lind attacks Green Hatchlings C with Gladius. "Our heavier hitters should go near the end - that way, if we wipe everyone clean, they can move ashore, with us to follow the next round." -
MOC of Ninjago Royal Palace & Temple - Updated 1/21
Lind Whisperer replied to BrianGT's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
How does this topic not have more comments?! This is looking incredible! Wonderful job on the detailing - you really nailed the tiny decorations on the Royal Palace! Master Builder party is a very nice touch! No idea if it's an original idea or not, but I like how you handled the waterfalls! Those sliding door pieces blend in nicely! And the water is well done also! -

OoC: Unless I'm about to die, I need to go after the arc healing. Also, again, Matthias should not heal Lind. "You heard the man - let's keep these Hatchlings off their backs! We're almost done, let's make Eubric proud!" While hacking at Gold Mob D, Lind tried to see how many sailors and soldiers were aboard the approaching Bonaparte ships. -

OoC: Repeating on that "do not heal Lind" remark. -
Maybe only do this after a certain level? Someone new to the game might freeze up a bit, trying to figure out which statistics they're supposed to prioritize. Perhaps at level 5? Or 10? (Some people hit 5 very quickly - but by 10, you should have at least a general idea where you might be headed.)

The Munchkin head cocked his head...and grinned. "I see where you're going with this..." OoC: The Obsidian Dragon is one good hit away from going down. I could do some real damage to the Vermilion with the Bifrost Blades, if we can't tame it to carry people. -

Lind nodded. "What Germ said. We'll clean up these mobs so the heavier hitters can focus their attention elsewhere." After that, some of us might want to charge that Supply Shed it's the blue building - see what the fort's hiding." OoC: Assuming that the Supply Shed has something in it...possibly the dragon package? -
Heroica RPG - Quest #159: An Unexpected Return
Lind Whisperer replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in The Heroica Archive
Lind cocked an eye as he repeated. OoC: @Waterbrick Down Since all of the enemies on the Outer Wall are spread out, will they take at least a turn or so to catch up with the rest of Boomingham's group? If not, Lind doesn't say the next part. If the group is going to be hit by twenty people all at once, it's a fair enough division. If they're going to cut through them one or two at a time... It could also just be that I don't understand the plan. I'm not quite getting what Zepher means by "make a passage". "Make a passage? Where you're pointing at, there's barely anyone - it's a quick run to the fort. Not trying to criticize your plan, but besides the cannons, there's only eight people between you and the inner wall. If you're trying to make a path the other way, it's only twelve. Even assuming you're going to cut through all of them, there's only twenty total. And they're spread out, not clustered. Down here on the ground, we're about to get pounded by at least thirty, all clustered around us. And you're taking both Karie, and Skrall, one of our two Minstrels, and one of our hardest hitters. To fight a group of very spread out enemies...while we're trapped here on the ground, about to be surrounded on all sides." OoC: Also, Elphaba. and potentially Euflear and or Bellanotte are going to need temporarily reassignment of "orders", if the party that's controlling them leaves the group. (Not entirely sure on Elphaba, since her party is listed as "Zepher"?) -
Heroica RPG - Quest #159: An Unexpected Return
Lind Whisperer replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in The Heroica Archive
OoC: What other locations could we aim for? "Hey, it keeps things interesting-" "-Never mind. HANG ON, CREW! Karie - can you hang on to the railing, or can I lend you a hand? Don't go flying on us." OoC: Technically, it's Heroica, anything's possible. That being said...yeah, probably wouldn't work so well. Not to mention, if we targeted our landing towards the gallows like proposed, we'd end up pouring a mini tidal wave of water on the people whose lives we're supposed to be saving. -

Lind Whisperer replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in The Heroica Archive
Lind shrugged at the newcomer. "Maybe if we're lucky, we'll see some Undead dragons? Your talents would certainly come in handy in that scenario." He held up his hand. "Unless I'm about to die, don't heal me." OoC: Given as how all normal effects wear off after ten rounds, my armor bonus could come in really handy, since it doesn't get affected like the consumable effects do. -
I was going back to see which of the three Immortalis quests Throlar was on, since I didn't remember him(#134, like I figured), and I noticed something. No character got to see the entire story, from beginning to end. No character went on more than two out of the three quests. Slyph, Annienal, and Throlar only went on #134. Warlen almost made it, with both #134 and #138 under his belt, but according to the Hall, he was busy with #146 while #147 was going on. Vindsval came closest, going on both the beginning and ending quests - though he missed #138. Kind of sad. It was a good arc!

Heroica RPG - Quest #159: An Unexpected Return
Lind Whisperer replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in The Heroica Archive
OoC: Will dark-elemental attacks do anything against light enemies? I'm not quite sure what the wiki's indicating on the matter - light-elemental attacks work well against darkness, but it doesn't say what dark-elemental attacks will do against light enemies. If they do, Lind attacks Gold Mob A with Gladius. Otherwise, he tries to get Green Mob D grounded with his Steel Knife. -

Heroica RPG - Quest #159: An Unexpected Return
Lind Whisperer replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in The Heroica Archive
OoC: Oh man...I just realized... This entire first round should have been Electric. (Immortal Palms). ...Okay, checked the wiki, only Lightning-elemental attacks should be doubled...at least there's not too many people with Topazs...I hope...Also, quite a few of the enemies are Lightning-immune anyway. ...Okay, phew. I just went through everyone's inventories+compared them to the battle order, and we're good. WBD's hard work is perfect. Sorry for never having brought up the effect before now! (Three hours of work...oh, man...Really sorry about that, WBD!) -

Heroica RPG - Quest #159: An Unexpected Return
Lind Whisperer replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in The Heroica Archive
OoC: Nice work, WBD! This is not a great period of my life right now...very long story. If I'm not around, Asphalt can control Lind's actions. Lind nodded at the Hatchlings. "Thanks for the cash, I was running low." With his first action, he attacks the Green Hatchlings A (Mob 9) with Gladius, then attacks Red Hatchlings A (Mob 14) with his Steel Knife. -

"...Fair enough, can't argue with you there." Lind raised his hand. "When we reach the Antiquary, I could lead myself, Germ, and Ezeran, up the north road past the building, and hit the south corner of Triad Park - assuming it's not over-run with too much demonic activity. If we run into trouble, we're all former Rogue-classes, and we can flee with impunity. We'll head back down along the road, and meet you at the blue circle, looking for ships all along the way. Again - Arthur - do the Zeigfrieds still have the Flouncy Phoenix? Or would they be watching out for it..." "Heckz will come in surprisingly useful here - as a Weather Mage, I imagine he can do quite a bit in terms of assistance." "It's the best plan anyone's come up with yet." I'm afraid you're forgetting someone else's Step 7, though... Lind looked across the room to where the Wolf King stood. OoC: Great work, CMP! -
LEGO Ninjago 2018
Lind Whisperer replied to Peppermint_M's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
(The original plan for THE LEGO NINJAGO MOVIE was that it would be a time travel movie - which changed in pre-production. I wouldn't rule out the possibility of a stand-alone time travel movie - but the rumors may very well be springing out of people seeing old concept art, etc., and misinterpreting it as future material.)
