Thought process --> They got 4 UCS in the shop right now, personal feeling is that it would be weird if non of them got that 10% off. And as said in the forum, it will probably not be any of the 2 latest ones, maybe not even the Sandcrawler. But just some speculations (and hopes). -

Well, there has to be atleast 1 UCS-set discounted. I'm missing the latest 4 UCSs to complete my collection, but crossing fingers for atleast the Sandcrawler! -
The detail is too damn high!

Hi guys! Ever had a bad experience with buying used Star Wars sets on BL? I bought a 10018 (Darth Maul sculpture) some months ago. When I got the package I just quickly checked the content, it was quite dark in the room but bricks looked fine. Never had problems before, so why now? Well, I started building it today and as I build more and more I can see there are alot of bricks with dents, scruffs etc... There was even non-official Lego bricks -.- Now I think I'll just swap the non-official bricks, build the thing and sell it again on a swedish auction site. So, anyone experienced this before? -
Incredible!

Hi there Eurobricks-members! My name is Oscar and I'm 21 years old and come from Sweden. As of now I'm working with logistics but looking to edjucate myself furture in the future. Has been applying for commercial ariline pilot and hope to get accepted. I've been posting a little bit on the forums and I thought it was time to introduce myself. I've been building Lego my entire childhood, always wished for Lego for christmas/birthdays. Unfortunately my firends were not much into Lego and stopped building around 12-13 years of age. During my childhood-build time my favorite type of Lego was ALWAYS Star Wars. My first love was the first release of the Lego X-Wing(7140), got it from my grandmother, and it is still probably my favorit set. 1,5 years ago my spark for Lego returned! I found out about the Star Wars UCS sets. There was only one thought in my mind "I need to collect them all". My second thought was "How could I not heard about these before?!". I started of with Obi Wans starfighter, bought it factory new. Then I started searching Ebay and bought 3 old used sets. Soon after this I found Bricklink. Today I have all sets except Death Star II and the 3 latest releases. Just as much as I was happy to find out about the sets, I feel a bit sad because it hurts my wallet really bad. I think some of you guys can relate ^^ I nevy all you guys that bought the big ones back in the day at RRP. I'll leave you guys with a picture of my room. I can't fit all of the models in, so some of them are stored in the basement. Picture: http://imgur.com/4TMKLNl Thanks for reading about me. Kind regards, Oscar

So true :/ It's too bad the scaling is not up to par... Still it looks cool That sure is some food for thought Navy :) I feel quite bad tbh. All you long-time members has to endure new guys like me bringing old stuff up^^ Now let's get back to those 2015 sets shall we? :D

I am clearly quite alone in here regarding my opinions around the MF ^^ I don't want to act "toxic" towards the rest of you, so I'll just leave the discussion right here and now. I'll cross my fingers for that Vulture-class Droid Starfighter

First of all, I have not bought any of my models as an investment, I want to showcase them an enjoy them for my viewing pleasure. There is no way I would sell my models. My Falcon was used when I bought it, I just wanted the fantastic ship. I guess I'm not like most of you in the forum that enjoy building more then viewing. I'm that collector guy. Once I've build a model I often do not rebuild or modify it, I'm not really into MOCs either. But that does not mean I don't appreciate Lego for what it is. Lego is really beautiful to me. Every day I walk into my room I look at my models and they put a smile on my face. As for TLG... There had to be a reason for them to produce the model in a limited quantity? Or should we re-release some rare minifigs? Like the Cloud City Boba Fett? What is the point of having a collectors series if things are not exclusive? Of course I understand that a new Falcon would be really great and alot of people would be happy since there is such a huge demand. But I can't help to feel bittersweet if that would happend. My concerns are not, in any way, in line with value in money upon a re-release. If I would have been in for the money I would not invest in Lego... My concerns are that the integrity of a set being SPECIAL is not kept. Yes, special sets really make me feel better. Haha

Agree!! A really freaking good looking set, solid.

I see what you mean. But it feels like current 10179 owners are getting robbed, especially those who bought it back in the day on release. I've saved up alot of money to buy that Falcon, to have this great epic ship. Then it comes a new one, more refined, and I stand here with the "outdated" version that cost me tons of money. Edit: Do you feel what I mean? :)

Im glad to hear it! :D I get why you would like the AT-AT, but why a Falcon? The current one looks amazing. And is not the whole point of it to be rare "dayum I wish I had that one"-ish? Just personal preference
-
Is it just me that would LOVE to see a UCS-style Vulture(Edit) Droid Starfighter? I think now is the last chance for these types of sets to come out in a while because of the new movie. Hoth rumors are nice to hear, a UCS AT-AT makes alot of sence. We'll probably see them in Episode VII.

That is a really nice looking minifig you got there! -
I found the UCS R2-D2 and B-Wing on sale in a Toys r' us store in Sweden, both for €330 Otherwise I try to do my best to get the old UCS sets as cheap as possible...
