So it was! Thanks for showing that. -
I like it (the build AND the story). I wouldn't have thought yellow and gray would work together but they do. I like the roof, the hedge, and the interior details. Well done!

[ESL - FB2 - ship] Winds Beauty (3T2)

A fine looking ship! She appears to be a bit overladen, however, as she's riding awfully low in the water. Keep those stern windows closed! -

Excellent build! I'm sure getting that first row of smaller pipes to align properly was difficult. -

March 616 - Eslandola's Escorted Trade Routes

Capt Philip Janszen is looking for a big payday. He'll take his Class 2WR Lady of Madrice on the high-risk Dragon's Teeth run. -
This is my fifth free build of the month, so approvals and critiques are most welcome. * * * It had been some time since Captain Cornelius Reyngout had spent any time back on the mainland, but he had been summoned to Terreli. After meeting with Guy Wyndzon, he had his orders. Reyngout departed the MCTC headquarters, out into the busy street, and headed for the docks. The MCTC had acquired a ship that had been decommissioned from the Eslandola navy. She was a beautiful ship, but of an earlier generation, and the time for her military service had come and gone. But she was of solid construction and had many years of service left in her, if she could find the right service. And the MCTC thought she was perfect for the merchant service. Now completely refurbished, the Heart of Eslandia would sail again. Cleared of the extra guns and large crew of a warship, she now sported a large cargo hold, 5 guns in each broadside (and could add two chasers to the bow if needed), and was one of the speediest ships around. Reyngout thought her name very appropriate, as trade was the lifeblood of Eslandola, and the ship still sported its blood-red sails from its fighting days. And the name Eslandia referenced the historic tone poem dedicated to the Eslandolan ideal. Capt. Reyngout’s orders were to take her to the Eslandolan colonies, display the pride of the MCTC merchant fleet, and drum up financial support from MCTC members so that she may be licensed and enter revenue service next month. Bow detail: Stern decoration retained from her fighting days: Some detail shots of the cleared decks:

[SR - FB1] - March '16 - Heldenberg Bakery and Supply
Capt Wolf replied to Kwatchi's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Great build! So much to like here. The oven is great. I like the smooth wood floor and the frame and plaster walls. Good minifig posing, and the pastries look delicious! Nice use of the honey pot piece. Well done all around! Where does the torso piece for Mrs Heldenberg come from? -

Bregir, I like your suggestion for condemned prizes. That's a good way of maintaining the story elements and historical realism while making it valuable to capture a ship.- 2287 replies

[ESL] CGH's beach house in Elysabethtown
Capt Wolf replied to Captain Green Hair's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I love the design of this house! The roof, the arches and balcony ... all very Eslandolan. And nice details with the lantern and the vines, plus great landscaping wit the beach and trees. So much to like! -
I was very sorry to read that this ship went down in the hurricane! Hopefully her sister ship will look quite similar, although you should at least make some minor cosmetic change to differentiate them.

Brethren of the Brick Seas (BoBS) Introduction and Starting Thread
Capt Wolf replied to SkaForHire's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Regarding the BoBS Scorecard: It looks to me like "total feb yield" is the sum of my end of January cash and my February income (excluding the challenge awards) but does not reflect my February expenditures for licenses and such (even though my licenses are reflected in my projected next month income). Is that a correct reading?- 2287 replies

Well that was fast. And some were worried that we wouldn't be able to cover all the shares staying within the MCTC ranks. Way to go everyone! -
Merchant's Colonial Trading Company - General Discussion

In the transaction form, the options for who we are paying only include factions and "another builder or NPC". Is the latter what we should mark, then put MCTC as the name of the builder or NPC?
