Brethren of the Brick Seas?
James Wellington replied to Admiral Croissant's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I'm getting my Redcoats, Pirates, Bluecoats, Spanish, Merchants, Sailors and Civilians all ready for when this comes out I mean, other than MOCs and displays, etc, I finally have a use for them on Eurobricks if this goes through. Hmmm... Now I must await the complete formation of this.- 318 replies

-Black Imperial Officer with full insignia and updated kepi officer hat Example: Daine Jir -Death Squad Commander (Navy Trooper related guys) They're the guys that help fire the death star lasers in the room where Tarkin shows Leia the destruction of Alderan. -Updated Rebel Technician, Episode IV -Updated Tarkin -Updated AT-ST Driver (along with an updated AT-ST, because we haven't gotten one of those for a while) -Updated Endor Luke (in camo) -Updated Scout Trooper (to go with the updated Stormtroopers, and only slightly updated because the current ones are nearly perfect) -Updated General Madine (he's like one of my favorite rebel officers) Hmm... I can't think of more at the moment. Anyway, I hope we get some of those in the future.

Hmm. Seems to be a good ship, yes, but I'm just not sure about a few things in the build and design. I have a big list of sets to get now through September, and for now, this just isn't on it because I don't want to break the bank, and I also prefer bluecoat-related sets (Soldiers Fort/Outpost) over pirate-related sets, but I still like the new Brick Bounty, and I still may get it, eventually (budget permits). So many things to get..

2015 LEGO Pirates Rumors and Discussion
James Wellington replied to Yawgmoth's topic in LEGO Pirates
It seems that many people think this Juniors set is a good deal, so I might as well get one next time I'm out. I need more weapons to add my Redcoats/Bluecoats/Spanish/Pirates/Merchants anyway. -

Yes, I saw one last week when I went to Walmart, actually. They're still very much available, I do believe. -
I recently picked up this set, and while combined with the Soldiers Outpost, it is bigger, alone it looks sort of like an outpost itself and doesn't have a ton of minifigure space. While I like that it is branching out to a few more lady minifigures such as the Governor's Daughter, I sort of wish it came with another soldier or two. I really like the new Governor minifig, though. And, the big Bluecoat flag really is one of the "golden nuggets" of the set for me. I'm very glad that they've released these new sets, and despite a few cons, this is my favourite of the Pirates sets, personally. Here are my pros and cons to this set. Pros: *Bluecoat flag *Rowboat *Governor Minifig *Combinable with Soldier Outpost Cons: *Lack of Bluecoats (although, technically it comes with 3 people on the Bluecoat side, only 1 of them is an actual soldier, and although I like the Governor's Daughter minifgure, I think I'd prefer another soldier or two, this set being the soldier's fort and command centre) *Small Jail *Jail and room above have no back wall *A few minor problems with the crane * The fort has a bit of a smaller look for me, I didn't get the Soldiers outpost yet, so I am yet to combine the two, but alone it looks a bit small. Although the set could've been improved a bit more, I still really like this set, and I'm glad there are new Bluecoats, and I am yet to build up my Bluecoat army.

Brethren of the Brick Seas?
James Wellington replied to Admiral Croissant's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
I really want this to happen! I'd very much contribute in the Guilds of Brick Seas. We just need a Moderator or someone to pick this up, and make it happen. We need to work out rules, guidelines, and other things, but I think this has a chance. And now that the new Pirates sets are out, those who may have previously had no/little Pirates sets, can now maybe go to the store to get some characters/building parts for stories/freebuilds, etc. I really would like this to work out.- 318 replies

LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
James Wellington replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I agree! We need not only the hat, but an officer in black (with insignia and all). -
Hello all. Now the last of the Clone Wars sets and characters are dying off since the series was cancelled a while back, and I when I go to the Lego Store, I see a bunch of Star Wars Rebels sets. We've all seen them. "The Ghost", The Wookie Gunship, TIE Advanced Prototype, AT-DP, etc. I find that they are taking up lots of the Star Wars sets, especially the Summer 2015 sets. Assuming they have the same number of sets as Winter, or a little bit more/less, so far only 4 sets are the 6 movies (not counting the advent calendar), and 2 of those are from Episode 1. It is said that the rest may be Star Wars Rebels. Now, maybe we just don't have enough information on the Summer 2015 sets, and maybe it's just my opinion that they're "partly taking over", don't get me wrong, it will defiantly never take over, but what I'm saying is that I see a lot more SW Rebels sets on the shelves. And I feel that SW Rebels is quite a kid's show, which is great, but I felt it wasn't nearly as good as the Clone Wars, and makes most of it's characters, and especially the Empire look like fools. I don't like most of the SW Rebels Characters, but everyone has their own opinion. I've been buying the sets lately for the Imperials (even though I don't like "the inquisitor", and their Stormtroopers look a bit strange). I'm honestly quite sad that the Clone Wars was succeeded by Rebels, because SW The Clone Wars could be viewed by all, and I feel that Rebels is really aimed at young children. And that's great, getting some kids into Star Wars at young ages, but it may not be the best thing for the older Star Wars, and Lego Star Wars fans. But finally I feel that Lego Star Wars has really shifted (and is still shifting) from the original three, and even the newer ones, to series like Rebels. And that makes me a little bit sad. I mean, Star Wars Rebels won't last forever, and will loose most of the attention when Episode 7 and Episode 7 sets come out in 2016, but Star Wars and Lego Star Wars is now changing. Maybe it's just me, and that I want to see more Original Trilogy sets. Maybe I'm just overreacting ? I want to hear what you guys have to say about this. *Note* Please do not get me wrong, I'm exited for some of the new Rebels sets, and Imperials, I just feel they're taking up the shelves a bit. Thanks for reading, please tell me what you think about this.

LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
James Wellington replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I agree. A Cloud Car, maybe TIE Bomber, something like that. A set that's only been out 1 or 2 times, and the 2nd or 1st time was a long time ago. Also, I think the flash speeder could've been a bit cheaper. -
Very nicely done!

I actually used the nail polish remover, and it worked great. The officer looks like the regular Grey one except for his tan uniform and the little triangle things on his collar. -

Master eBay Auctions thread - post noteworthy auctions here
James Wellington replied to interstellar's topic in LEGO Pirates
I wish I could bid, but price for shipping alone is sometime like $15 for Canada, (US Dollar) plus another bit because the Canadian Dollar is so bad right now, and plus the price to where the bid goes too. I have an eye on one, and if the bidding price is low, I still might consider getting one. I'm not sure though, yet. -

Yep. Can't wait to show it. Only thing I don't like about the TIE Advanced Imperial Officer is the thing on his hat, which is meant to represent a character in SW Rebels, but I still wish it was a normal Rebels Officer with no symbol on the hat. -

It's officers and Stormtroopers, pilots, etc. However I have quite a few officers and growing. I just want to get a few more troops and officers before I show so it looks nicer ☺ -

I have about 40 Imperials right now and growing. I'll show some pictures once I get a few more minifigures and vehicles. -
Moc Microfighter AT-AT/AT-ST/Snowspeeder
James Wellington replied to Fuppylodders's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I really like your Microfighter AT-ST, I think with an AT-ST Driver in stead of the armoured Imperial Officer, it could easily be a microfighters set. Your AT-AT Microfighter is better than the real version, but I still like real version, because to me it looks like a dog -

I hope soon, but I don't think anyone but the people at LEGO know that. Probably a bit later, but I'm sure they'll come out some time considering the sets come out in September. -

I know right! I'm going to try to watch ROTJ tonight, just to get in the mood even more. Can't wait until these sets come out. I'm going to try to make a review of one of the June sets when they come out.
