LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
James Wellington replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Kenobi looked good with the capes, yet I still feel this "newness" of the new Ben Kenobi with robes. He's very well printed, and I like the new face. However, I grew up with most of the Jedi with capes. Maybe it's loosing it's "jedi-ness" for "newness" I'm sort of tied with both. -
What's your recent LEGO Star Wars Purchase?
James Wellington replied to KimT's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Just got the TIE Advanced Prototype (about 3 weeks ago) and AT-DP one week ago. I don't personally like the Inquisitor, nor most of the Star Wars Rebels characters, so I just make the TIE Pilot drive the ship. I also like the ISB (Imperial Security Bureau), so although I don't like that "Agent Kallus" guy, he's still part of the ISB, so I still sort of like him. I may take off his head and helmet and replace it with a Imperial crewman face and a black kepi or just normal hair. I don't mind the officer in the Tie Advanced Prototype set except for the strange symbol on his kepi. Rebels sets bring their pros and cons. -
The mini Star Destroyer looks so cute . They both look great. Good job!

LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
James Wellington replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Or perhaps right after. I mean, maybe those versions are perfect for a Battlepack, but we do need new Royal Guards now. I mean, not many opportunities come to get these guys (one set right now, another coming out shortly, and hardly any in the past), so we may not get to see the updated version of these guys until 2016-17 IF they even update them. I really hope like some people have said that this is just a almost-complete rough copy, and perhaps the Royal Guards will be changed, but sadly, I don't think that's what's happening. But it could be possible. -
Greetings all! You may have seen me around Eurobricks, mostly in Star Wars. I've been trying to expand my interests and LEGO work lately, and because I like Star Wars so much, and Sci-Fi is so close to Star Wars, and basically is Star Wars, I decided to get some parts, get some of my aliens, space troopers and lasers and make a small MOC. I quite like my design of my small Drone. It can be used for spying, combat and exploration. Alright, lets get to it. Here is Space Troopers Drone "Delta Protector V". Excuse the name at the top for being misspelled. SpaceDrone1 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Here's a view of the Drone. A small thing at the top to receive orders and commands. A big red eye and two side scanners to have maximum seeing ability, 4 mini side lasers, and one big rotating laser at it's bottom (hard to land it ) SpaceDrone2 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Basically same picture but a bit closer and a maintenance crewman working on some minor damages and space troopers and officers in the background SpaceDrone3 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr A view of the back of it. SpaceDrone5 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr The Drone's main gun in action. A small firefight with a hostile alien life form. (excuse the connector, imagine it not there) SpaceDrone6 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Two of it's four smaller lasers engage the hostile alien at close range, a Space Officer also comes in to aid. SpaceDrone7 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr A closeup of it's firing skills and a sort of side view of the thing. SpaceDrone8 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Frontal firing view. SpaceDrone9 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr The Delta Protector V Drone saves the day! I hope you liked it, please comment, tell me what you think, it helps me to better preform next time and tells me if you like it or not. Please add any suggestions for the Drone (parts to add on, take off, etc). Maybe I'll create some more space stuff? Thanks for viewing!

LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
James Wellington replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I myself love the Death Star/Imperial Navy Troopers. I'd love to see them in another set, and I do agree there should be a better variety of Imperials out there, but perhaps they wouldn't match this exact set. I do agree, as I have before about the Royal Guards, they could of updated them, I mean they're NO different from the 2014 Battle Pack one, and very little different from all the previous variants. -
Hello all. Some of you may have seen me around Eurobricks either here or in the Star Wars forums. I started out in Pirates, and I've been really meaning to get some type of MOC out there for some time, because although most of my attention is on Star Wars work and projects right now, I thought I'd just do something small. Please comment and criticize, it shows me if it's good or not, and how to improve for next time . Now, as I said before, this is just a small project. I hope you guys like it. MOC1 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Here's a frontal view of the small MOC. Redcoats unloading supplies for the small colony town. MOC2 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr A view of the side of the dock and showing a bit more of the MOC. MOC 3 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr MOC4 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Looks like the Redcoats will be bringing a prisoner with them. MOC 5 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr A look at the townspeople running for their food and supplies. A Royal Navy Midshipman directs the troops where to drop off the supplies. MOC 6 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Lastly a look at the small cannon post. Even small towns need protection from those Bluecoats and Pirates. Hope you liked it. Please tell me what you think of it, it's not some crazy big MOC that will blow your minds, but I think it's sort of nice.

Thanks. I mean, it's not amazing. I'm more of a Star Wars guy, but I just had to do a little thing for Pirates. When the new 2015 sets come out, I may get a few to keep built, and then a few to disassemble to create another MOC like this, a small town, or even a ship. I've been collecting Redcoats, Bluecoats and Pirates forever now. My Redcoat collection is about 25-30, and then I sort of made most of my bluecoats into my Royal Navy. Now time for a ship?

LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors

Whenever a picture is either released or leaked. Don't worry, I don't think it'll be long until another appears. And you'll defiantly know about it if you keep checking this topic. -

I agree with Fuppylodders and Raskolnikov. The set is a bit disappointing, but If I get it, I may keep it in tact, or I may dismantle it and use the parts to add to/create an Imperial Base. I mean I don't think it'll be the worst set. It's probably number 3 or 4 on my list right now. But then again, only 1 Rebels set has been released so far, so we'll see if anymore of those come out, and then we'll see how they are. -

If they had it 100% accurate, it'd be SO expensive -

You can just take all those Rebel Scum out and make it a regular Imperial Shuttle And I think they should actually make a new "Emperors Arrival" set. I will probably get the Shuttle Tydirium and the Imperial Assault Carrier, and maybe some small Rebels sets, and the Flash Speeder, but Final Duel may be one of the last on my list. But we'll see how I feel when it's released, I might change my mind. -

The new printing is good. I don't think they're going to be the worst of the Advent Calendar characters, but I don't think they're the best, either. -

They do look ridiculous. And, is it just me, or does it appear that not the most amount of effort were put into the two minfigures? C-3PO just has his head with a beard and a santa costume, and R2 just has reindeer antlers. Maybe just my opinion. -

James Wellington replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
I do agree. It seems to me that the Royal Guards are NO different from the Imperial Gunner Battle Pack set, and very little changed from the original variants. Before the pics came out, there was news of them having new robes. What happened to that? And I really like the Royal Guards, too, so when will they look nicer? Although I think the set looks rather nice, it won't be the first I'm getting. Vader and Luke will be the only new prints/morphs. The Emperor already was in the "Star Wars Villains" or something like that book, and the Royal Guards are in the Gunner Battle Pack thing. -

Slowly, but surely, we're getting to see the pics of the new sets! If that Final Duel set is really what it looks like, I am for sure getting it! I anxiously wait to see the pictures of Shuttle Tydirium, Flash Speeder and Imperial Assault Carrier! Not yet, I don't think. But I'm sure we'll be informed when they come out. I myself cannot wait until they're released. Keep checking this topic and maybe Hothbricks (because they're releasing all of these good things) and other websites like that, and I'm sure the pics will come out soon. -
And all the girls say I'm pretty fly - for a TIE guy ;-)
James Wellington replied to HJR-Holland's topic in LEGO Star Wars
TIE Avenger looks great and is the one that I like the most, however the Clawcraft looks way more unique and well built than the others. All of them still look great, though. -
Shadows of Nar Eurbrikka — Avenger (Imperial Headquarters)

I have made 6 freebuilds so far. I understand you can have 4 judged per episode. I have picked what I think are the best 4 out of the 6. Transmissions The Meeting Part 1 The Meeting Part 2 The Escape Part 1 People who do have the ability to judge, I'd appreciate if they got judged. Please judge and criticize. -

Transmissions, The Meeting Part One and Two, The Escape Part One. Even though this one has mostly the same things, so do most of the freebuilds, and this one among the others that I picked I think will do well- 11 replies
