LEGO Star Wars 2015 Pictures and Rumors
James Wellington replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
It does seem a bit shuttle-ish. However, I still like it and will be getting it for sure. Number 1 or 2 or 3 on my list. -
Nice review! I think because of this review I'll be getting this. I need a shark, rowboat and a few extra weapons anyway. Not to mention that cool black treasure chest!

171D Hello all! I said in my last small MOC, I'd probably do another MOC, so I decided to make a ship this time, a Gunboat. It took me almost 4 hours (mostly finding and digging out parts), i'd say remove all the finding time, it took me about 20 minutes to construct, maybe 25 minutes (I did a few designs, and picked the one I liked most). Now, the gunboat itself has 1 small mast, 1 small rotating cannon at the beginning, and 2 swivel guns. The ship can fit about 4-6 minifigures, however I didn't want to take up the whole ship with minifigures, so I manned it with 3 minifigures in the 3 main posts. I myself am pretty proud of my build, I mean, I just built it with limited parts, and the way I thought a gunship should look like. I originally constructed a small grey cannon to go at the front, but it was a little bit too big, so I added a smaller rotating cannon that looks a lot like a swivel gun Alright, let's get started. Gun1 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Side view of the ship. Quite small, but it is a Gunboat Gun2 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr The bow of the ship. A redcoat manning the frontal cannon, and a Royal Navy gunner manning one of the two swivels. As you can see, I've given those new ugly blasters a use! They make great swivels, firing ones, too. Gun3 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Gun4 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Overview of the ship. You can see a bit of the crows nest. Gun5 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Other side of the ship. It does appear that there is a bit of dirt of that piece. Cleaning time Gun6 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr A simple, small stern to the gunboat. Gun7 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr You can really see everything that's going on in the ship in this pic. Gun8 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr At the wheel of the ship, a British Midshipman pilots the small ship. Gun9 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Lastly a view of the whole ship and the crows nest. Let it sail to bring glory to the Redcoats, and justice to the seas. Hope you've enjoyed! Please tell me what you think of my Gunboat! Have a nice day.

Lego Star Wars Rebels sets partly taking over?
James Wellington replied to James Wellington's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Oh? I was not aware that there would be ANY Episode 7 sets this year. And some possibly in September? Now I'm VERY excited. And, I really want the Imperial Assault Carrier, too, and that Shuttle Tydirium, Flash Speeder, and now Episode 7 sets? My wallet's going to be empty by the end of this -
March's Double VIP- What are you buying?
James Wellington replied to TheFuzz's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I'll buy some of the new Pirates sets, and probably the Lego Star Wars Shadow Trooper battle pack, because i've been meaning to get that for a while. -

Alright, glad to hear, I guess. -
Lego Star Wars Rebels sets partly taking over?
James Wellington replied to James Wellington's topic in LEGO Star Wars
You all make fair points, perhaps I was overreacting a bit by starting this topic, but I sort of wanted to see what the other Lego Star Wars fans thought of this. "Partly raking over" perhaps was not the best phrase to use. I even somewhat like Rebels (bringing a better selection of Imperials, vehicles and minifigures). Maybe it was just that I wanted a few more OT sets. -
Lego Star Wars Rebels sets partly taking over?
James Wellington replied to James Wellington's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Perhaps they are a lot more kid friendly, and even a lot more happy. I do like their Empire sets, just not some of the other sets and characters. -
Lego Star Wars Rebels sets partly taking over?
James Wellington replied to James Wellington's topic in LEGO Star Wars
You make a very fair point. Perhaps I was overreacting a bit, but I would like to see some more Original Trilogy sets out there. I'm glad that Rebels can collect some new Star Wars, and Lego Star Wars fans at that. I actually like the ships, most Imperials, some of the Rebel Characters, etc. I look forward for the Imperial Assault Carrier to come out in Summer 2015, probably the first of second set I'll be getting in fact. -

James Wellington replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Agreed. Real pics will be really helpful, and then I will start to make a little list in my mind what I'm getting first, what I'm not getting, what I might save for another time, etc. I'm really excited for the Imperial Assault Carrier, Flash Speeder and Shuttle Tydirium. -
Brethren of the Brick Seas?
James Wellington replied to Admiral Croissant's topic in Brethren of the Brick Seas
Is this thing going anywhere? I'd love to do something like this, already being a Shadow of Nar Eurbrikka active member. I have a big Redcoat and Royal Navy and Pirate collection, and I'd love to contribute to this. However, the question is, is this idea dead, or dying, or is this still being planned? I'm rather confused.- 318 replies

Some sets could use more work, and there could be a bit more selection with some themes, and I do find now some lego sets are a bit overpriced, but it is defiantly not dying. However, I'm glad this was brought up because LEGO could do a bit better on some sets and even themes. But, sets have gotten better. I just bought a Lego Star Wars TIE Advanced Fighter, and I just compared it to some of the past TIE Fighters, and I just completely looked how nicely done it was, and just how far the minifigures designs and pattens and prints have come since the minifigures were first introduced. Lego is not dying, but getting better. Sure, there are a few flaws, but nothing close to bringing the company nor the products to death.

SONEe5s1 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Captain Vars: We welcome you aboard the Star Destroyer Tyrant, Admiral. Admiral Brickton: Thank you. You have a lovely ship. SONEe5s3 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Admiral Brickton: We all know he's dangerous, and possibly even armed at the moment. Do you know his current location and what he's doing? Captain Vars: Yes, Admiral. He's in the Communications Room with the other B-Squad members. It's not far from here. SONEe5s4 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Admiral Brickton: Excellent! We shall have to calmly get the other B-Squad members out of the area before we make our move. Captain Vars: Yes, Admiral. Admiral Brickton: We'll require weapons, too, in-case it goes wrong. Captain Vars: Already taken care of, Sir. SONEe5s5 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Imperial Gunner: Here you are, Captain, Admiral. Captain Vars: Thank you, gunner. I knew you could prove yourself a value to the team! I consider you a great friend. James: Thanks, guys! It was nothing, really, I was just doing my job as a Stormtrooper. Dan Jars: Heh. SONEe5s17 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Captain Vars: Look, I don't want this to be happening right now, either, but he is one of the many Rebel spies that are spying on us, even within our own ranks. That get close to us, even become high ranks, and then feed information to the Rebellion and wait for their time to either make their escape or to cause damage to the Empire. [soNE Freebuild] "The Meeting" Part. 2 Please comment, tell me what you think, it helps me to better perform next time. This is my fourth Episode. I think after 4 episodes, they can be judged? If these 4 episodes can be judged for points by a judge, I'd very much like them to be. INTRODUCTION: Captain Vars recently found out that one of the B-Squad members, Dan Jars, James's friend, was a Rebel spy. He now waits for Admiral Brickton to plot his plan to capture the traitor and get information from Dan. Meanwhile, James anxiously awaits Captain Vars to dock at the hanger, to tell him the growing Rebel movement on Coreillia. Star Destroyer "Tyrant", Brick System, 2 ABY. SONEe3s12 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Darek: Hey, watch it! James: Sorry to interrupt, Sir, but I received a transmission from Coreillia, the Imperial base there is being overrun by Rebels, Sir, we need to help them! SONEe3s13 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Captain Vars: James, Coreillia is far from here, we cannot just go and help them. I will alert ships nearby to send reinforcements, but we have orders to stay here until further notice. I'm confused as to why they even contacted us instead of a ship nearby. SONEe3s14 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Captain Vars: I will contact Star Destroyers Trandirum and Crusher to go and help the base on Coreillia. I thank you for telling me, James. We need more capable troopers like you. James: Alright, sir. Thanks, I guess. But what about the *lowers voice* secret mission, Sir? Captain Vars: Uh.. We will do a few more briefings on it. I will get you all together when the time comes to do them. SONEe3s15 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Captain Vars: Now, if you'll excuse me, I have some work to do. As you were, B-Squad. Officers, get to your stations. *Later on* SONEe3s16 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr *Boom-Beep Boom-Beep* Captain Vars: Ah, hello, Sir. Admiral Brickton (via hologram): Hello, Captain. We are almost ready to take the spy into custody. Right after, you will inform B-Squad and any high ranking officers of what happened. I know some if not all of B-Squad will not take this easily. Captain Vars: Yes, Sir. Contact me when you're ready. Admiral Brickton: Excellent, I will also see to it personally that the Rebel is apprehended. I will come aboard shortly after I contact you. I will bring some troopers to detain him, and to transport him to the station. You may continue with any other plans you have after that, Captain. Captain Vars: *Sigh* Very well, Sir. Contact me when it's time. SONEe3s17 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Admiral Brickton: Soon, the Rebel Scum will learn not to spy on the mighty Galactic Empire. Soon, my plan to catch all of their pathetic spies will be engaged. And we will find them all. That will be all Captain. See what happens next in Episode 5! [soNE Freebuild] "The Meeting" Please comment, tell me what you think, it helps me to better perform next time. This is my third Episode. INTRODUCTION: James quickly rushes to Captain Vars to tell him of the Imperial Transmission he received from an Imperial base on Coreillia in need of help. Star Destroyer "Tyrant", Brick System, 2 ABY. SONEe3s1 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr SONEe3s2 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr James: Sergeant! Sergeant!!! SONEe3s3 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Sergeant Trans: What? What is it? SONEe3s4 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr James: I just received an Imperial Transmission from Coreillia, an Imperial base is being overrun, where is Captain Vars!?! Sergeant Trans: Calm down, James. Captain Vars is at an Imperial Meeting. James: I know he's at a meeting, but where!?! Sergeant Trans: The Imperial space base near by. We can try to contact the station, but he should be back soon. James: We need to help the Imperial forces on Coreillia! Sergeant Trans: Coreillia is quite far from here, James. I'm not sure if we can help, and it might be too late already. SONEe3s6 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr James: I have to go try to contact the station! Sergeant Trans: Wait up! I'm coming with you, but we may not be able to reach the station. Captain Vars will be back soon, perhaps you should just wait. James: We have no time! Come on! Imperial Space Base 274, Brick System. SONEe3s7 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Admiral Brickton: Hello Captain Vars. I see it you and your officers are enjoying the meeting. Captain Vars: Yes, Admiral. Admiral Brickton: However, there is a reason I have called you away from the meeting temporarily. You see, the Imperial Security Bureau and I have reason to believe one of the troopers of your "B-Squad" is a Rebel spy, and traitor. SONEe3s8 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Captain Vars: What? This is not possible. I trust these men. They've helped me before, and I'm about to send them on a classified mission to infiltrate a Rebel space station. Admiral Brickton: That mission will now be terminated. B-Squad member Dan Jars is a Rebel spy. Captain Vars: I trust that man, Sir. He can't be a Rebel Sp- Admiral Brickston: He is a Rebel Spy! He will be terminated shortly after we take custody and interrogate him. Do not inform the other B-Squad members nor anyone else on your ship. Lock down all your ships and fighters until further notice, and keep the ship near this space station. SONEe3s9 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Admiral Brickton: I'm sorry for his sake, Captain, but Rebel spies have to be eliminated. After we take him into custody, you will terminate the mission to the Rebel Station until further notice, who know's what he has told the Rebels. And explain the story to your B-Squad members and any other crew close to this Dan Jars. Now, get back to your ship, Captain. Captain Vars: *Sigh* Yes...Sir. SONEe3s10 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Admiral Brickton: And remember, Captain, this is top secret. Do not mention it to anyone. I will contact you shortly after you get on your ship. We will act from there. Goodbye, Captain Vars. Captain Vars: Goodbye, Admiral. See what happens next in Episode 4! Please comment, and tell me what you thought!

[soNE Freebuild] "Transmissions" Please comment, tell me what you think, it helps me to better perform next time. This is my second Episode. Here they wait for news of their important mission. But will that mission get delayed? Star Destroyer "Tyrant", Brick System, 2 ABY. SONEe2s3 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Captain Vars: Ah, James, I've been looking for you. Seeing you're not doing anything, can you take control of the communications room for a short time? The officers and I have a meeting to attend. SONEe2s4 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr James: Oh...uh, me Sir? Well, I guess I could, bu- Captain Vars: Excellent! Come in, come in. SONEe2s5 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr SONEe2s6 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr Captain Vars: Please monitor the controls and transmissions. My officers and I will be back shortly after the meeting. I thank you for your help. James: Always happy to help, I guess. Captain Vars: Excellent! I'm getting to like you already. Well, I guess we should be on our way then. Best of luck, Corporal! SONEe2s7 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr SONEe2s8 by BrickJamesWells, on Flickr James: Huh... James Wellington replied to Erdbeereis's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Understood. No more spoilers from me. To be honest, I don't even like Rebels much. I only want the Imperial figs and ships/vehicles. Hey, even if it's repeated, at least we're finding these videos. I'm really happy the pics are starting to come out. Maybe some clear pics will come out soon. -
