Book II - Kaliphlin: Guild sign-up and Discussion
Yzalirk replied to SkaForHire's topic in Guilds of Historica
Okay, I may do that. All the Orcs look awesome so it's hard to decide on which one to actually use. -

Winged Angel/Harpies sounds awesome! I think you should do that but don't use the Brick Warriors' Harpy tail, it looks a bit weird and could get in the way if you want to put your minifigs in poses. Also, you make a good point with that. Do you also recommend mixing the Urak Hai minifigs with the other Orc minifigs or no? -

Two? I assume you are referring to two different races, correct me if I'm wrong but I tend to get confused sometimes. Also would you say and army of 25 - 30 is pretty good? As much as I would love to gets lots of the minifigs, it's expensive on BrickLink for them and LEGO isn't selling the Urak Hai Army set anymore. -

This is embarrassing but currently zero. I'll be about 25 on BrickLink, if 25 is a good number. I may also get some of the other Orcs from the LotR/Hobbit sets like the Gundabad Orcs, Goblins, some Berserkers, Lurtz, ect. -
Thanks, I hate how people who sell the Urak Hai sets on BrickLink don't include the minifigs!

Okay, so what do you suggest? As much as I would like to say they're strong, I just can't. I've revealed too little information on them that no judgments can be made yet but they are ruthless fighters, perceptively strong and since they inhabit a tough region, they can endure the harshest conditions the average being can't. Does this mean they are immortal? No, they are just hard to break. -
Can anyone tell me where I can find the leg assembly on BrickLink found on this LotR minifig?

Indeed! Now that gave me a pretty good back story as to why my tribe was nothing more than rumors and talk of old stories until recently. -

I don't know whether that would also make my tribe I intend on making to be like that but I'm thinking of them being isolated, greedy, and merciless apart from being independent but do serve Kaliphlin when it's in time of need. So they [my tribe] are practically just pompous towards outsiders. -
Just like in the movie, it looks very think and creepy, great job!

Sounds nasty, I like it! I may very well use that unless you have more ideas you'd like to pitch to give me hand, I'd still appreciate it. I should also mention, your idea is very cool and I would have never thought of it! -
The sacrifice in the outskirts of Avalonia free build
Yzalirk replied to the lego dwarf's topic in Guilds of Historica
Not a terrible start but all MOCers have started out like this, I can't wait to see what else you create. Also, if you use a baseplate, try to take advantage of all the space. -
The front looks awesome with the fans and the smoke, great job!

Not bad, not bad. Though, like what Lord Vladivus said, it would probably be better to keep with a harsher and more terrifying name for the race I intend to create and use. -

Genius! I'm confused, is Zar-Ifrikt the name of the race or just the name of a single being, along with Katib? -

Okay, I was considering putting my inhabitants in the mountains but I'm not too sure considering some socialism between my people and the rest of Kaliphlin would be good, I'll think about a location for a bit longer then. -

Those are awesome, I really like the Orc in the first picture and the giant crossbow in the second picture. -
That's a great castle! The last picture is my favorite.

That's a large army! The drummer boys really stand out.

Out of curiosity, is the region in the mountains inhabited by a lot of people? And is a non-human race, like an Orc, welcome? Though, I was considering calling it the Blood Elves or something cool but I don't know, any ideas? -

Alright, cool! I'll post it sometime tomorrow because it's nearly midnight, where I live, but I think you'll like it. Though, you should note my character is not a human, but it'll be cool and interesting!
