Some figures remind me of Fabuland figures and they seem to be as tall as those (a tad bigger than the normal minifigure). Would be interesting to see a comparison/side-by-side.

I saw on Bouwsteentjes that there are two more Creator Expert sets expected next year. Could it be that one is from the "From the vault" series and they they bring back the Green Grocer? -
The official designer is out as well: Mike Talbott had the honour of doing this modular. After Mike llast year, again a new designer for the Modular Line.

Ooooooooooh, I love this one! Instant buy! And great it are two 16 wide buildings, solves the "puzzle" that Assembly square leaves in the modular lay-out. -

Correct me if I am wrong, but it seems that the last few modulars were build around a theme where we also got a collectible minifigure from. In one of the CMF-series, we got a waitress on rollerskates, from a typical diner. And we have the diner. We also had a vet (Corner Garage), baker (Assembly Square), boxer (Diner), a barista (Assembly Square),... Since there are rumours of it being a bookshop or library: perhaps the librarian from the CMF-series will be next to get a building? -

Always start with the oldest: in this case Parisian Restaurant :). It is a really nice build, and it is just an amazing display pliece/play piece when it is finished. -

Quick question: isn't Lego at fault to have different prices for the European land? I thought with the anti-geoblocking law that was prohibited?

This fits the modulars better than Downton Diner, which I didn´t buy because it doesn´t work well with the other modulars and just looks to... American. I like the look of the floors. Not quite certain of the garage part, but I like the shout-out to Octan :P. Yeah, I can see me buying this.

Does anyone use here boxes from the brand Really Useful Box? They sell boxes with dividers and I wondered how many bricks they can contain.

Ah cool :D Thanks! And don´t worry! It is a very well done video, I couldn't have done it better ;) With regularly pausing building along with the video is very much possible! I just wanted to give it as a tip for future video´s ;)

The video goes a little fast, and we don't get told how to build the refrigrirator, but it is a cool way to show intructions and it is a cool build!

I want to bricklink Cafe Corner, but I am going to use different colours. I understand there is a new type of door, so adjustments has to be made. How did anyone else that bricklinked the café corner solved that?

Hi all, How do the carousels from Lego compare to each other size wise? I like the carousel from the fairground line, but the size doesn´t scale up with my modulars. Is the carousel from the Winter Market Village a better fit, looking at size?

So, now the leaked new City-set "Capitol" has an hotel....does anyone think we will get a hotel as the next modular? The reissue of Town Plan included a cinema and town hall, which were both in the modular line. Since the new Capitol-set is sort of a successor to city square/town plans sets, I was just wondering.... -
Thanks everyone! Has anyone experience with the storage boxes from Lego themselves? How many bricks/pieces can a 8 stud storage brick hold? Would you recommend them?

Funny, I have the same question. I have five or six very smalls sets from the 90´s (Legoland theme), five modulars and a few of those seasonal vignettes. Oh, and the pizza van (I keep my Fabuland and Belville sets separate). Currently erverything is stored per set (easy for rebuilding or checking for missing pieces). On the other hand I would like the get more creative and build small scene´s on my own. Perhaps even give a go on building a small house or something. For that it would be great to to store ALL the pieces together, organized by type. But if I want to build something, that would mean I would have to break down a modular and/or those vignettes. Not sure if I want to do that. Of course I could buy windows and doors in a variety of colours to get my creative streak on. But I don´t have many loose bricks (I have a old box with a lot of 2x4, 2x4, 2x8 in the standard Lego colours and a recent medium creative box with all sorts of parts and colours), so I would need to buy bricks in a variety of colours and sizes as well. And while I like Lego as a hobby, I don´t want a shitload of bricks/storageboxes in my home. What do you all recommend?

I would like a library, bookstore, day care or clinic. The bookstore and daycare could be combined with residential space a la Green Grocer or Pet shop.
