The US RRP is my benchmark, and is on the pricing chart I carry when I go shopping Did not see any train stuff at all though. Track seems to be so rare. You might want to save yourself the trip, or call ahead.

I went anyway, could not resist a look. You were partly right: the sale was not really 25-50% off, just 25%. Disappointing. The only thing that got 50% off was some skateboard. Anyway, saw some Agents (8968, 8969, 8970, 8971), Space Police (5969, 5973, 5985), Star Wars, Belville, City, Power Miners (8964, 8191), Technic (8049, 8052, 8053) Toy Story (7592, 7597, 7789) and games left. Plus, it's frustrating to know that the Brits still get them for 2 pounds, $3 in the US.

For those in Perth: Toyworld in Success just sent me a flyer saying they are having a "25-50% off everything" sale. Started today, ends on Thursday the 6th. The fine print: Offer valid on floor stock only, only cash or credit card payments, no layby, no rainchecks, applies to full price items only. I'll be checking this out tomorrow!

Has anyone seen the Target stocktake catalogue? There's no mention of Lego! First TRU, now Target. Have to keep watching Myer and DJs then, as people are saying.

Just had a look at TRU's stocktake catalogue for after Xmas - nothing on Lego at all...

They are unsatisfying, I wouldn't buy them. Perhaps 'clearance' is not suitable.

I've never been to Melbourne, but I would at least visit the Lego section at Myer. It was mentioned in this topic - post 4346. It's not a Lego store, but it's so close. I went to have a look as well - $59. Thank you for that tip on Alamut though. To think I got it when it went for for $80! You are really dead set on Tantive IV - I suppose you've considered bricklink or amazon? I'm not sure how much shipping and insurance is nowadays, even with a weak US dollar
