That would be excellent. I think that format would be perfect for that, one half could be common room & the other could be the dorm. What colors would the books be though? The same as the classrooms but with a different 2x2 tile on the spine(or some other sort of decoration) I suppose. I was also thinking something like Thor’s Apartment would be a cool format for one or the other.

I understand being frustrated with a site when there’s trouble placing/completing an order, but it’s not bad at all, certainly isn’t a scam...the vouchers are just an extra unnecessary hoop to jump through. The value hasn’t changed. Maybe I’m not seeing the issue...you exchanged points for VIP dollars but it wasn’t enough to cover your whole order?

I don’t see them going to boxes, we’ve already had a number of series’ that had the bags since Vidiyo was released(which I am very grateful for).

Oh dang, had a surprise in my email. The Forge already shipped. Is that normal? I’ve never done a pre order before, but I assumed it would ship on the 1st.

$150 would be better for sure, & a perfect price in my mind. I feel like the height of the Sanctum set was a bit small when comparing it to Grimmauld Place. Although the Sanctum had two facades to contend with, so even at $99 & 1000 parts they could probably make a decent one.

My hope is we just see Hogsmeade station(I mean, it worked in the WV). Because I have no interest in another HE. It would have to be a major improvement. And I added two cars to mine, so it would have to really be worth it. Years ago I said a Grimmauld Place in the vein of the Sanctum Sanctorum set would work fine. A 16x32 build & a great selection of minifigs all for $99, yes please!

That’s what I’m wanting to do with the one that came in the Lion Dance set from last year. I’d like to have it leading to the Temple Fair set but just haven’t came up with anything yet.

It’s definitely another strange decision by TLG. For those ones where they need to be connected you really have to line them up carefully. Then you have that gap on the other end, which usually isn’t much of an issue........unless you own Diagon Alley & when you came across Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes & you have a lot wording above the door & windows. It’s obviously not very noticeable but I know the gap is there & I kinda hate it.

Continuing the buying trend....just grabbed 75318 The Child, finally, on eBay for $55.00. This has been quite the year for SW. This is set number 6 so far with The Forge on pre order & the TIE left to for sure buy. I haven’t bought this much in quite a while. Feels good.

Grr....well, I had intended to wait but all the talk & hype of how good the set is I broke. Bought the Bad Batch Attack Shuttle tonight. And I haven’t even seen the show yet! I blame all of you who talked about the set.

Learned something new. Good looking city. You have a lot of open space, makes me kinda jealous of it all. And nice touch with the blue wall. Once I get to a more permanent place I plan on doing that as well.

This is fantastic. Love the whole thing, but of course that carrier is great. I like real world items built in scale.

I do have the AT-ST Raider, so that kinda counts as OT. Then I have the Falcon(duh) from 2011, Y-wing from 2012, Landspeeder from 2017/2020, Hoth Echo Base, Wampa Cave from 2010 so I have a Snowspeeder, Slave I from 2010. So it’s not a horrible show of force, just missing some key iconic vehicles. I was more of a Clone Wars era collector so that makes up the bulk of my SW sets. No other faction army builds for me...the Clones is enough there. I will keep that list in mind, the AT-ST & Hover Tank especially. Great sets with a good duo between them. Then a few location sets tossed into the mix as well.

For me it’s the length. I wasn’t even sure what it was when I first saw it. So maybe It’s if there was a bit more to it it would read better. That might’ve helped though.

The scarves is definitely the eye sore of the set. I would say the scarves are iconic in their own right & they had to represent the Houses...but surely there was something else they could’ve done. Especially where we could’ve shown all four & not drive the price up too much.

Oh for sure, the T.I.E. is definitely happening, but I decided to cool my jets since I preordered the Forge & I want to grab all the Marvel CMF’s when they come out. Gotta spread it out. Totally. I love the little 1x1 tile prints, they add a lot. But this one makes all the difference in the world. That windscreen is pretty iconic so to see it that small is cool.

That’s a good point about their stock levels...maybe that’s it. I finished building Luke’s X-Wing. It was a blast. I imagine it’s much simpler than prior X-Wings(much like the new Slave I) but I enjoyed both builds a lot. So much so that I may run out tomorrow & grab the T.I.E....which I planned to do a bit later in the year anyways. Looking at the Light Cruiser, those are some great looking little T.I.E.’s. The printed cockpit piece is a very nice touch.

Something must’ve happened to screw orders up this bad. I’ve been ordering throughout the lockdown & pandemic times & shipping has never been this bad. The only delay I finally saw was when I ordered some HP sets mid July. It took like 5 days to ship, where it usually takes 1-2. The vague explanation on the site doesn’t help anything either.

75301 Luke Skywalker’s X-Wing Fighter My first X-Wing since getting back in ‘07. It’ll be the same with the T.I.E. as soon as I get that. I’m pretty excited about it. It was more just a missing out due to other sets than anything. I don’t even have a single Ewok! My collection is lacking in OT sets for reasons unknown(other than the other sets reason).

Yes! The Rocketeer would make for a great minifig! What an awesome idea. I’d like to see Belle & Beast(I suppose Gaston too) as well.

I’d settle for just a complete Ravenclaw team. They’re too expensive right now. I’m with you there though. I regret not getting two sets, both for the full set of goals & the extra uniforms. So getting one complete package with the added stands between the towers would be great for a non MOCer like myself.

There’s definitely plenty of booze throughout many themes. He’s literally got a beer belly (As I sit watching Star Wars) And lets not forget the biggest bar set t date, the Catina. I wonder if the 18+ that they now have would better the chances...
