This is a meaningless move. It’s parents that are affecting children’s toy choices. If a parent doesn’t want a boy buying a Friends set, having it grouped together with other LEGO(which they have been in Target & Walmart) for years or having no label...isn’t going to change that.

Ooh, those white pants are neat, and exclusive I believe. Same with the hair/silver headphones yeah? I hope the parts make their way to Cali by Nov 1st.

There’s two...I’m blanking on the names we’ve gotten. They’re here somewhere in the thread(or someone will come around & answer).
-
It’s definitely an odd reason, but it is what it is. Considering we got Expecto Patronum(which could be a bit unnerving for younger kids) or the Rise of Voldemort(again, unnerving). Granted they don’t show the acts in the sets, kids know what those sets represent.

I’ve broken myself of that lately. When I could build my own I kept them together, but now that they’ve been doing the pre built, I always haven’t. When they had the coral floatie that came on the swimsuit minifg, I just really wanted the floatie so I took that straight away. Same with a few other exclusive bits.

Haha, nice one @Oky!

How does Lego figure out sets prices?
Vindicare replied to metalgeekzy's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Haha, right? When I first saw Boun’s Boat(from a theme I have zero buying interest in) I was very excited to add it to my Ninjago district. I was like, “that’s a great $30 set!” Then I see the price... I’m so over the Modulars. I don’t care what it is...who wants to buy a big square building anyways? (Let’s see if that works ) -
Why does Playmobil still have Historic themes, but not LEGO?
Vindicare replied to Lego David's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
Seriously, they could crush it. They’ve given us glimpses with CMF’s and the underwater setting of 7985 City of Atlantis set. Historical or mythological. -
I like to start on Dec 1st & build one a day. I don’t usually build all of them(having all of them), but I build 4-5 typically.

For a small time it was back ordered with Oct. 25th as the shipping date. I’m not familiar with ordering that way, but I would assume they’ll be in stock then? I gotta keep an eye out since a friend missed out.

I would imagine Target will be getting the Sleigh at some point since exclusives are pretty much the norm there now. Anyone has any idea of the usual timeframe? Are they same day as LEGO stores?
-
Wrong fandom.

Now that we have 2x3 tiles, we could get tablet prints. Not quite as fun as a laptop piece...annoying as it is.
-
Woo boy! 19 minutes & the Sleigh is back ordered.

For sure. If they read these forums like they say they do, they should definitely know. I’m not sure what could go into a BP style build though. The spectator stands would be awesome from an AFOL view, but I’m certain kids won’t get excited about building bleachers.

I’d love to see it included a torso from each team(and I say that as someone who has a full Hufflepuff team). It would be the easiest way to do it I think. Then, in addition to a few heads/hair, throw in some beater bats & brooms & were set.

Great use of the feather piece for inside the ears & sharks head as the tail end. Clever little fox.

Just finished building this. It was a great build. The roof sections were pretty cleverly done & while the base is going to be tricky to attach to a baseplate, it was a fun build as well.

I really like the chess set, even with its repetitive building of the chess pieces. Plus, you get extras of those great gladiator swords in black & white.

Anyone watch Visions? I loved it. Overall it was a great series with some standouts. Just wish they were longer. The Duel, Ninth Jedi, & The Elder where fantastic. Seeing SW set in that realm was awesome.

[Poll] Do you like LEGO as a company?
Vindicare replied to Lego David's topic in General LEGO Discussion
I meant the list of sets that needed to stop being advertised. Firemen had nothing to do with it, but they were added, I assume, because they are an emergency service like the police. -
I don’t see why not. We’ve got a dolphin & mountain bike before, so an oversized human would be just as easy & probable. I saw a few comments that it could be about Aurelius. .

Which only makes it more ridiculous. Lumping firemen in with police simply because they’re under the “emergency” umbrella is idiotic. -

I get what you’re saying. It’s sad that so many missed your point to, oddly enough, inject politics in it. Like the Police sets they chose to make a show of how they picked a side in that. They could’ve just stopped advertising them & let it end there. But no, they had to announce it from the rooftops for some brownie points.
