Here is another photo: And here is the mechanism of the cabin tilting: Note: The floor of the cabin is very low, it was difficult to find place under it for the small LA(which is tilting the cabin) the drivetrain to the steering wheel (especially because the cabin is tiltable) And of course it was important to stay the chassis rigid. -

Hmm, otherwise, use only one motor for driving, if it isn't enough, make lighter(smaller) model. Or the driving will be an exception when you can use 2 motors, other function have to be powered only one motor. Right, i agree with you, max 4 motors with 2 Sbrick, and fuctions are minimum 4, maximum unlimited!:) -
[TC6] Technic SBrick Contest - Information Topic
Eraman replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Ok, my plan: 4 motors, 1 motor change the gears, so i will have 6 power function(with 3 motor), 1 function is steering, 1 function is driving and 4 other functions. Plus i will have 1 manual function, cabin tilting. Is it good for this contest?:) I hope, yes:) -
[TC6] Technic SBrick Contest - Information Topic
Eraman replied to Jim's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
It's a good contest again! I don't understand exactly: "When using a gearbox, your model can have more than 4 functions (6 for example, like the 8043 Excavator). The model needs 2 PF IR Receivers which can be replaced by one or two SBricks." .... Model needs EXACTLY 4 powered functions (no more, no less)." Which is the right? i think this is the best solution: use exactly 4 PF motor, and make minimum 4 function powered by the motors. If you want to use gearbox, you CAN use it, with it the functions limit will be max 8(or 6 if 1 motor change the gears). I have a question: can we build extra MANUAL funtions(above the 4 power function)? For example: cabin tilting, headlight tilting, etc.? -

Hi All! You could figure it out from the title, i would like to build an artic truck. The idea came from the model of 2015: I will use 2 small sets: 9391 Mini Crane (218 parts) and 8259 Mini Bulldozer (165 parts). It is far from the 600 parts, but sometimes fewer parts is bigger challenge. UPDATE!!!! Sorry for late, I'm glad to introduce my C model of 9391 + 8259 an ARTIC TRUCK! It counts 342 pieces (80 pieces of track) from 383 pieces(118 pieces of track)(+extra parts). I used some of the extra parts. The truck has a lot of geared and non-geared funtions: Geared functions: Articulated steering front blade up/down boom up/down Non-gear funtion: boom rotating winch bed tipper openable bed tipper rear door Other attributes and details: seats imitation exhaust tips headlights on top and a small taillight the bed is covered, it doesn't loose the cargo Leftover parts: More pics soon! Thank you!
