I kind of wonder if LEGO just feels like once they do Deathly Hallows sets, that will be seen by many as "the end" of the Harry Potter line because that story has such a solid conclusion. So instead, they're just going back and revisiting previous movies/books instead of representing DH. I'm fairly confident that eventually they WILL get to most everything we want to see. Frankly, I'm kind of hoping that (for my own selfish reasons only) there aren't a TON of sets I want in any one year. I mean, we're only in February, I know a minimum of two Harry Potter sets I will definitely be getting (Hogsmeade and Forbidden Corridor), one large one I might be getting (Great Hall/Chamber of Secrets), and I've already gotten the 4 Hogwarts Moments and the $150 Medieval Blacksmith!

Lol. We could also have Hergoldine for Hermione to complete the set.

I am super excited about Hogsmeade. Getting two of the best buildings from the town and for only $80? That's fantastic news for me. I'm hoping for a remake of the Shrieking Shack down the road to pair with it. I think I'll just have to see this Hogwarts Anniversary set before I make a decision. I'll also have to see what all the second wave sets will be due to finite funds. And the Forbidden Corridor with Fluffy sounds fantastic as well. As for the board game comment with the Advent calendar, I'm wondering if it means a chess board? That makes sense with Philosopher's/Sorcerer's Stone being the theme.

I saw over on an Instagram leak that the Blacksmith set is $150, but it comes in at a whopping 2,164 pieces.

I'm excited! And cringing at the cost of my want list this year already. Those Harry Potter and Mario lists...

I saw on at least one post that the set # was referred to as "Leaf" again, which was the codename they used for the Mario project last year. But I wonder, why would they use the leaf designation again. Could it be that's just what they'll use as a "secret" designation or is it 100% Mario? (I'm perfectly happy if it's Mario as I enjoy the theme, just curious.) And Leaf still fits Mario with the Tanooki aspect.

I figured. With the delay (at the very least) of toy fairs this year, I suspect we will be getting very little info for a long time. My top wishes this year are for Hogsmeade (although I'd have to sell some items to even likely afford), Shrieking Shack (I have the original but would love an update), and the Chamber of Secrets.

I'm hopeful for a summer wave. Getting the Wiggler Poison Swamp for my birthday, and my kids are really enjoying the Penguin and Tanooki suits. I'm really, really hoping the (maybe hopeful) rumors of a Luigi Starter Kit are real, and it does seem somewhat inevitable.

I just logged in to post this, too! Good find! I found it myself by accident when doing some online Christmas shopping for my niece and was looking at promotions.

I like a lot of this wave, although I agree some of the blind bag characters are meh. I also am really bummed about no new heroes, especially Luigi. HOWEVER, this is a winter wave. I wouldn't be surprised to see another larger wave in August or so. Just like Harry Potter having the books available on January 1st with a larger wave coming in the summer. And yes, the Wiggler is also by FAR my favorite from this wave. Also, the video for Wave 2 has been released!

Yep, when I saw it I thought "C" for Castle, Lions, Dragons, and Black Falcons, oh my!

To be fair, Sat was officially recognized Batman Day.

Yep, orange with Mr. Tumnus and Dark Red with James (Harry Potter's father) in the Harry Potter Collectible Minifigures Series 2. Now it is bright red for Tiny Tim! Such a neat little set, and I'm a big ban of A Christmas Carol. I wonder though if this is going to be one of those GWP sets that doesn't come out until December, and I usually like to build my new Winter Village sets in November so they are all on display from Thanksgiving through Christmas.

Today I got the Brickheadz as part of a shipment (sadly DA will have to wait until probably next year), and I had also purchased 8 minifigures. And with those 8...NO DUPLICATES. I feel like I hit the minifigure lottery. Dumbledore, Fred, George, Ginny, Myrtle, Griphook, Lily, and James are all fantastic. And now finally have the Burrow and Room of Requirement to build. Better late than never!
