I like the fact they're making queen Amidala (herself ). The TIE looks great, except the very odd window piece -
REVIEW: 4565 Freight and Crane Railway
Brickviller replied to TypoCorrecto's topic in LEGO Train Tech
Excellent review, I remember watching this set as a kid, and I couldn't even dream to get it. It's indeed one of the sets with the greatest playability, at least for it's time. -
LEGO Star Wars 2012 Pictures and Rumors

The TIE looks really good, but bigger. I don't know if I like that, I would expect a new one to be similair sized. But I can always choose not to buy it if I don't like it The Queen sounds interesting for a new set -
I'm not really a fan of a theme like this, so that may have affected my opinion about the fact that Lego really begins to have too much themes currently. When I go to my local Toys R Us, the shelves are still filled with sets from years back (Even from 2009!). With more themes some smaller stores will/have decided not to sell certain themes, meaning less profit for Lego. But I'm also not a sales manager or anything, it's just my simple thinking

3677 is clearly also an European engine, in the Netherlands and I believe in Germany these kinds of trains are/were very common. I've never seen an American engine that looked like this one Engine used in the Netherlands (and possibly Germany since Railion is part of DB Schenker)

It's not much better here, in the Netherlands it cost the same as the last cargo train !

This weekend I was in Billund with my father (we had a really great time) The only thing was that they didn't have the new and the older nor the Maersk cargo trains. We're going next week to the shop in Oberhausen and I hope we've more succes

Wow, well the set is indeed decent, nothing special. But for me it seems it is. I get the feeling that Lego tries to go back to the golden ages of City with these new train sets. Also very good review, clear and I totally agree with the conclusion. I found it funny that they put (nuclear?) waste in the train since I believe that in Germany there were some protests about it, but I do not live there so I don't know the full story Deffinettly getting this set

It seems there's a new mini movie with the harbour sets: http://city.lego.com/en-US/Movies/cat276633.aspx

It's for me that time of the year again The train is indeed not better than the last one, but it's nice to have another cargo train to compliment the other ones

Hi everyone, my first post in a long time (I had my exams and passed ) Anyway thanks for all the news, I really look forward to this set. FOr a larger pic of the box see http://www.brickshop.nl/lego/treinen-rc/lego-3677-vrachtrein-trein-set.html It seems we don't get switches, for me that's not bad since I already had enough of those. However the price is the same as 7939, but this can be the result of the shop itself, making the price higher since they are currently the only retailer in my country that sells them (I believe they did the same with some other sets). So the price might lower a bit. Thanks to Legosjaak for the site

IT looks really nice, the marina, the beach the fishing boat, and ofcourse the street with the modular buildings. I really need to ask but what's up next
-
Well it's just my opinion about the game, where I live we respect those thing

I had high hopes for a game like this, finnaly be able to walk in a real Lego city and do all kinds of stuff, but the worst thing is that it won't be released to PC. Really what are they thinking by not releasing it to an operating system that almost everyone in the world owns?

I'm sory I got confused with the numbers, I ment the previous one from 2007

Thanks for the more than excellent review Although I think that the negativity about this set is just too much. I can remember that many people where not happy with the junorization of 7447. Even the crane (which people say was a good point) couldn't handle large loads and was very easy to break. I don't think however this set is better than the last harbour. I would've liked a similar one only with a green ship (same hull) and a different dock

It's already here on my own Youtube channel http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YLanovYpmgM And here's the second movie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fgvL-x2RK9U&feature=channel_video_title I must say I'm really impressed with the level of detail, story and the fact that it is even funny for an adult to watch

D2C Contest: Attack on the Nile
Brickviller replied to Yatkuu's topic in LEGO Action and Adventure Themes
When I first saw the pic on the frontapge I was like YES! they continue PQ, however when I saw it was a moc I was even more impressed, the whole thing could work as a set because it contains so many classic things Still I wish it was a set -
A second movie is now online this time the criminals go into space!
-
I think the most obvious reason because of those things at the side of the ship is to keep it stable> Look at the height of that thing, if those side things wouldn't be there the ship would roll over in water constantly

Thanks for the review, I believe I'm one of those people who like this set over the 2007 one (which I owned). -Classic like building -Even though the baseplates are not raised there is still a line of raised bricks in front of it, it's probaly also easier to pick up with two hands. With the last one you needed almost three hands to hold it -The colors are much better than 2007 one IMO, that one was just boring, grey and depressing (have we ever had a green boat before? -Farm boat, this means that it will look great next to a small dock near a farm -Playability, a boat crane and conveyor belt, how much can you ask from one set? -The crane in the 2007 one was really flimsy and couldn't hold much wheight, even though this is not the same kind of crane. This one is at least better designed than the previous one. So all in all this is a good set, and IMO better than the previous one. Even though I know many people will disagree with me

Hi everyone, Some people may know me as a town/city builder but I also love to make military vehicles, especially German WWII inspired stuff. My first creation I post in this topic is my (older) Brickville Union MBT called the Pandora MKII. The Pandora Mark II tank was a legendary tank in the Brickville armed forces. It combined all the aspects of the previous Pandora tanks. It had 2 main guns, 1 coaxial gun, a top gunner. It also featured a radar, smoke grenades, extra oil tanks and a new suspension system. The tank was heavy but the large and powerfull engine made it go as fast as most wwII-era battle tanks. The front of the tank, The back with the turret turned. This is also one of the weaker spots of the tank because the engine hatch can be penetrated with a single grenade causing the tank to explode. The top hatch and the gunner, the gun can be controlled also when the gunner is inside the tank. The suspension system and reactive armor plating Side view, on the side of the turret are 3 smoke grenade launchers Engine hatch openend Troopers view Turret backwards (for transport) Remember that this is a tank that I made a year ago, and that it's soon gonna be replaced with another model. For now I hope you like it and suggestions are very welcome :D
