  1. Even large lego aeroplanes sometimes don't include working ailerons, I like how you fit it in. The structure is clever, everything fits so well
  2. That POWER!!! That thing is so big, yet surprisingly fast if only it could shoot...
  3. Ok, I don't expect to win the competition with this as it is, but I've only just started. I added a pullback motor because it makes it much more fun to play with if it drives by itself. The steering is good, and connected to an easy access gear. I didn't gear up the pull back for longer drive time because it's a racer, and it needs speed, but offroad so it needs torque Please give me some suggestions, because I need some extra features to put in this.
  4. It does look like a more less sporty car, not a supercar, this thing looks simple, and maybe even blocky (though that look just comes with lego bricks). It would look awesome in real life, though I think it needs to be a bit stronger, those pieces on the engine and drive shaft may fall out when being shaken or used roughly. The car needs a hood, from the bird's eye view photo, it looks like half of what's under there is just empty, you can see right through The hood should be put on friction pins, so it rotates and opens up with a bit of friction
  5. Instead of you making a model based on a real car, the car company should make a car based on your model. Great design, just great
  6. I have completed my Mini Challenge Entry Offroad Racer by anton1678 Piece count: 183 pieces total Functions: Hand of God steering (at front, top 16 tooth gear) Pull back motor Plastic Piston Engine (pistons move up and down when car drives) Steering connected to steering wheel (not HOG) Slide up doors Adjustable seat (rotates back and forth) Rotatable front (allows wheels to go up and down over objects, rotating on central steering axle) see pictures for extra details
  7. Excerpt from the first post says you need your own thread AND a post in the entry topic I also originally thought it was only an entry thread, until re-reading It is hard to spot, it only says it once
  8. Ok, I have always been a bit of a pessimist, I'll try to be more positive here, good instead of not bad, full instead of not empty, it could be worse instead of could be better Just positive word choice I always forget
  9. This model has so many capabilities in less than 200 pieces! Great set, you put a wheel loader, a trailer, and a truck in one set, when there are sets that contain each one, sometimes with less functions than here.
  10. I suppose my comments can be a bit useless, though I don't see how all of the other comments are better than mine, or how all of them help the OP and mine doesn't.
  11. Exactly. It's not really fun when all the motors are not compactible so easily with lego bricks After all, there is still the micromotor, 70823
  12. Try building a Mark V tank, it would look really good with the weird shape and everything
  13. What about the BMW M1 Hommage Concept? It's never been done before, exists, and looks awesome, but blocky, good for technic Never been made in lego before
  14. Ok, you have all changed my opinion on the Hall of Fame. It is hard to make small models, and anyone should be able to make it to the Hall of Fame, not only someone with 4,000,000 parts and 60 powered functions Paul Boratko: Yes, I agree in some points, but you see a lot of functions under that non-technic shell
  15. Jim, when is the entry topic going to be created? I thought it was soon-to-be-created?
  16. Hand Of God steering added! At least, made more accessible It is the top 16t gear in the section. If you are wondering how the camera fits there, I broke my model in 2 parts to get the angle I will soon be giving this model a photoshoot, I think it looks done now
  17. Not as good as the original model, but still, not bad If you had the right pieces (but obviously there are restrictions here) you could make it way better I'd say about average, not as good as official B models.
  18. Exhaust Pipe Number : Measurement 1. noun Measures engine power and overall coolness of the vehicle Scania looks more powerful, Gunfighter should be firefighter, look at those water tanks and those ladders Your choice - power truck or emergency services vehicle

Ohh those gears.. I forgot about them
  20. Build a BMW i8, it's awesome. It's also a white concept car, as you suggested. As far as I know, this is the only Technic version of it, and it isn't too good, I'm sure you could make it better

What is that piece at the front? The big yellow cylinder wheel?
  22. I tried to make one with an ultrasonic sensor with nxt... But I suck at programming the thing, I messed it up in that part

    [MINI] ATV

Cool! This isn't my favourite, but the presentation is awesome and the model itself has all the right functions I wouldn't really call it ATV though
  24. Yes, I understand that contest winners should be immortalised somewhere, but maybe not in the Hall of Fame, that should be reserved for only the best The contest winners are good, but not worthy of a spot in the Hall of Fame. They deserve a space somewhere else, perhaps in a 'Contest Winners' Topic?
