OK, I'm torn between the blue 'Vette and the Caterham. I wanna see both pass, but... well, I guess the modularity of the latter would carry it through.

Also comes with bokeh photos. Names in bold are the ones I've seen. Can't say I'm impressed with the first two little sets, but the rest? Ace job. Also, there has been a set named Super Soarer. Re-release/remaster, perhaps?

I see that new kind of stud-shooter (clipped by the side) and I approve. I find this rather revolutionary, though whether or not they'd fit with the Mixels socket parts remains to be seen. Looks quite a bit like a modern-generation version of a Metro 6R4. I approve, but needs bouncy suspension.

Wonder how they're gonna nail the Capitol's dome? And whether or not said dome can be replicated to make other domes (St. Peter's)?

1H looks to be loaded with cool stuff, but the Q is: what little pieces of design will make it to the real thing (remember the headlights on the 24-hr racer?). -
Eh, I can wait. If something does slip up, I'll be in touch to see if the models nail the look. The photos won't go anywhere else. You have my word.
-
Hmm... where could the images be? Descriptions won't cut it for this theme, it has to be seen to be believed.

Show Tom Alphin the photos and he'd probably know them all. For now, here are my guesses. Huh, so they'll be to scale. Good thing. Dissed that they didn't use the minifig, though maybe it's not to scale with the ESB? We're looking at the Manhattan area with the two known towers, so I'm taking a stab at calling either two of the glass-clad towers in this photo for the white/glass building. The other one's more tricky.

I'm just sitting back here waiting for my sore-as-flak eyes to fix itself and waiting for the sudden Imgur pile. We'll know it when we see it. -
Lego themes that we would like to happen
XAxles replied to YellowCorvette's topic in General LEGO Discussion
How about a second sub-line, a mash-up of CMF and Speed Champions that revolves around MotoGP or World Superbike? Have them in CMF-sized blind bags, with one rider and one bike (with slicks, please, TLG, give us some proper slick tires) assemblies in one bag. Stickers, yes, but only for the bike body, so one can just choose not to apply them and have a stock Yamaha or Suzuki or Ducati or Aprilia or Honda superbike. Minifigs must be printed and come with separate hair pieces.- 451 replies

2H will be one hell of a loaded wave, then. -

Well we never know until we do see the prelims or the real box arts ourselves, so I'll play Doubting Thomas and only believe it when I see it and touch the wound with my two fingers (not like the whole lot of you). About half the sets sound rather spectacular, but the descriptions for, say, the Fire Station made me interested in the little bits of the build. As for the Rally Car... looks like the Speed Champions C7 Corvette Z06 has got himself a teammate!

Whoa. THAT is the first-half flagship? Not the Volvo, not the Claas, not the Ultimate IP Car. Sounds like a red herring to me. -
The sound of excellent music. I mean F1 cars negotiating legendary corners.

I for one, am happy to see new coinage. Also, my god that car. Only searched it recently, but that minicar's begging to get upgraded to Tiny Turbo-spec.

The big Porsche set (with the 917 and 919) was pegged at $80-90. Nice Price if you ask me.
-
I would say that I am not qualified to answer that question, but then, I started the F40 thread immediately after the set name and code dropped in the leak-drop.My take: take your time.

Temp check: pretty darn cold.

Seriously, though, is 60126 really Tire Escape or is it Fire Escape?

One really cool thing about the '15-spec 919 is that one of the cars entered at Le Mans (one of the drivers is Mark Webber) had the colors of the #23 917K you're talking about.

If that "Ultimate IP Car" really is licensed, it'll have to come from a car license TLG already has. But there's no marque or model name stated, so I think it'll be something else. At the least, that something else isn't what we think it is.
