Hi everybody, I have recently upgraded and extended my collection of Lego Napoleon's army. It's made strictly from original Lego (or Brickarms) pieces. I hope you'll enjoy it and maybe find some inspiration! My gallery: http://www.flickr.co...s/65531710@N03/

Hi everyone, I finally managed to complete the diorama of the Waterloo battle. Next Year there will be the 200th anniversary of this last Napoleon's battle. The diorama is 130 nods wide, 104 nods long, contains 320 soldiers and 86 horses, of course everything built strictly from LEGO and Brickarms bricks and parts. Enjoy and don't forget to visit my Flickr stream to see more photos! Thanks! Thanks a lot. My intention is to create a large scene of the battle of Waterloo, with LEGO terrain and everything, but that is going to take a lot of time... I hope nobody is dissapointed, because my British army is much smaller then the French at this time. Thanks! I tried only to keep the same distance between each minifigure, no baseplate or ruler was needed.

Thanks everyone for the positive reactions! I really appreciate it. Actually, I didn't do any customization (except the custom Brickarms bayonets and the drummers' mallets which is a stick divided into two parts). I have tried to use only original Lego parts in best available quality, no paper, sticks, etc. I am going to post some photos of the British Duke Wellingtons' army soon.

108D Hi, I'd like to share my latest creation: two Royal Frigates, each equipped with 18 cannons. I hope you'll like it. Photos: http://www.flickr.co...s/65531710@N03/

Many thanks for all the positive reactions. It is a great motivation for me to continue.

Hi, Captain Becker is right - it is the hat of the new royal guard (http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20110506111122/lego/images/e/e2/RoyalGuardHR.jpg).

My photos on the frontpage of classic-pirates.com? Wow, it seems this army has won its first battle! I am glad you like it, thanks! Thank you! When it comes to bluecoats, I would spend my last penny.

That's a fantastic job! All the datails are really stunning. I also build a napoleonic army (La grande armee), but I am using only lego and brickarms parts. It's a different strategy - of course I cannot gain that level of details you have. Have you considered to change the heads and hands collor profile from yellow to light flesh? Maybe your army would look even more realistic. But again, thank you for the great work and inspiration! Lego lost trademark challenge of usage of red 3D 2x4 rendering
jackdaw replied to Superkalle's topic in General LEGO Discussion
Ooops, I am afraid that one consequence can be a lower price of TLG products in the future, but this will affect the quality as well... -
Thank you for the good news!

Its perfect. I wonder when the bayonets will be finally available. It's been more then one year since the first prototype has been released... I will order at least 100 immediately :)
-
Nice creation. Can someone tell me, where these bayonets are available?? It is still not possible to buy them at brickarms, but many people use them in their MOCs. Thanks for reply.
