[HSH] Cat A - Steamnarium of Mr. Edward Higgs

Really love this work of yours! I really dig the sideways arched-shaped windows on the third(?) floor!

[HSH] Cat A: Placid Pelican airship

Well, its reaching a deadline point, and I don't have much of a diorama to present, but its more of the home/ship as the main feature. Might as well give it a shot, if I do or don't get DQ'd. Sorry for the non-Reviewer's academy photos. Hopefully it doesn't break any rules. The hull is from 7075, without the floating attachments. Anyway, on to the Placid Pelican, also known as P-02. Got inspiration from the Hindenburg airship. I really lack any pieces to make a proper base, and not enough parts of mine could replicate a foliage of some sort... anyway. The pelican's lower beak can be deployed as boat for travel over seas to traverse caves and rivers, as well as load up on goods and produce. They put on their deep diver suits to go treasure searching. Opening the front cover/steps to get on board. Removed the engine/roof and the bird-boat deployment crane; slanted roof turns into stairs for access to the interior. Removing the roof and the boat deployment crane. Bathroom/Kitchen/Sleeping Quarters + interior. The cat is in its litterbox. The ship measures about 44 studs, just under the 48 stud limit, with the birdboat-depolyer and stairs retracted: the roof/engine and the bird-boat deployment crane. The engine lays on top. Chains placed to pull the gates down for access, rather than risk opening it outwards and falling on the deck; the ladder is raised afterwards (laid flat in the image above.) The engineer makes an appearance. Below the engine/roof is the navigation room. It has a small table and seating for the Captain, Pilot, and Engineer. Includes a bookshelf on the right, weapons rack at the left, and the navigation and engine controls at the back. The Pilot is camera-shy, evaded the photo aside from his hat at the helm, but managed to get a below-average photo in the second one of this elusive creature. Sleeping quarters includes an alarm clock, beds, and rug for the pets to lay on. Pictured is the litter box too, found around the corner of the room. Captain naturally gets the top bunk . Thanks for viewing my entry for Cat. A! *fingers crossed it isn't DQed*
