I have thought about this myself, and I agree with others that the color depends on what would be the most appropriate for what the set is, at least for me. Red for the carpet in the PC, green for the TH/PS, tan for the TH, I see that as having gravel in back, the rest is all covered by building/sidewalk, FB has grey because its probably mostly all paved ground. I am working on my MOC and its a city house, so decided a tan base would be most appropriate, implying the small amount of ground visible would be covered in a sandy type covering. Just my way of looking at it.. :-)

I ordered a couple things a few days ago, and the order has been sitting there since then, on S@H. I called today to see what was up, and they told me its just a huge influx of orders slowing everything down, there isn't a problem with my order. That's a relief, I expected it would be half way here by now. For the inconvenience, they upgraded me from free shipping to express, which is so nice of them! I am glad I called.

My orders eventually worked out, they sent my items and no problems. I have since ordered quite a few things from different sellers and gotten pretty good service from them. But of course, now, I have place 4 orders, to different sellers and just one of the 4 has processed and shipped. The others are 2 pending, so have done nothing yet, and the 3rd moved to processing, but its now been 3 days, and no movement. That has to be bad luck, to ferret out 3 slow sellers... I even go through all their policies and other info to not use ones that say they are going to take up to a week or more to do an order. A lot of good that did me! It seems a lot of sellers are not going to bother to post feedback as well. It's hard to accumulate any when you are new.

I have made a few comments, but mainly just support a lot of the projects. The odds of getting to 10K supporters is pretty much impossible though for most of them, I agree. -

My number one YouTube reviewer is 'Brickformula' who does an amazing job, reviews the set, shows the box, shows the contents of each of the bags as well! Very thorough, and a timelapse build of each part of the set. There are always some funny comments or animations going on in the background too, but doesn't detract from the content of the review. I wish he would do some more reviews, nothing new for a few months now. If I am going to spend time on a video, it is to learn about a set to decide if its something I want or not. I want knowledge, not antics or stupidity.. I only subscribe to Brickformula, Jangbricks, ArtifexCreation, and yes, BrickQueen...last resort if there is something the others haven't done a review. Jangbricks is just too long winded for me most of the time, he can talk at least an extra 5 minutes on something and really say nothing...LOL I have seen a few Brick Show reviews, but I don't think I have ever made it all the way through one yet..I can't take it! haha....

I've got the red bus from 'Town Square' and like it a lot, its big, my niece always says when she is here 'this is a BIG bus' haha, love it.

I have been looking around on BrickLink for a lot of the dark orange bricks that are used in the Town Hall, and a lot of what is out there must of come from parted out TH sets...lol, maybe more of them go to that purpose than for actual building of the sets. I have to say, I hardly ever open up and play with my TH, not sure why, its got a lot of dead space inside, being a lot of balcony and open air... -

My niece comes over every so often and last time she had a car inside the Haunted House and swapped minifig heads on about half of them..haha, it was OK, she put most of it back the way she found it. I did find an extra broom from somewhere, I still haven't figured out where it came from/which set it goes to... :-) I am not going to ban her from touching things, its fun to show her what I have new. -

I just noticed this morning, on the S@H USA site that they have added an 'Arctic Collection' (5004189) that includes the helicrane, snow mobile and ice crawler for $61.97, so same price if bought all three separately...haha! You get double VIP points with it (123).

So how do some of the bigger online lego set reviewers on YouTube seem to get sets that are not available yet? I'm talking about Jangbricks and Brick Queen, a few others I've found. Do they have some sort of connection? Just curious if anyone knows...

I was looking at one of my old sets, "Fire House" (570) which has a flag on top. It had a Lego logo flag in all the photos I've seen, but all the photos on the box clip off the flag. My USA bought example has an American flag, instead of a Lego flag. They made the box more universal that way I think, back then (1973.) Customizing it regionally with the parts included and not have to print a different box for each country it was sold in. -
I ordered the Ghostbusters set (21108) and also the Police Dog Unit (60048), I wanted the hot rod car that's in it. What is that? Lego salt and pepper shakers? Haha, who knew?! Tower of Orthanc is nice big set!

Great review! Thanks, I definitely want to get one, it's a nice model. My favorite part is the flowing water. Least favorite part is the choice of grey tiles in the panels at the center, top, I would rather they were a contrasting cream color instead. I was under the impression it would go on sale today, but seems it is just viewable on lego.com, it's still not on Shop@Home here in USA.
