I am debating I might toss the little City set boxes, though most of mine are the large type boxes, luckily they only have the 4 taped spots, so it would be easy to flatten them. I still see value in keeping all the boxes and the bags too...

My order too was stuck since June 3rd, its finally on its way, I should get it Friday according to the tracking... They gave me free upgrade to express shipping for my trouble, you got a better deal, I would rather had the $25! haha!

I think a lot of people don't put the stickers on a set because they know they will be using the bricks for something else, and would just have to take them off. I have been putting them on my sets, I figure it would be a while before I would use the bricks to build something else, for the most part.

I drove to my Lego store, to see what the pick a brick wall had, and was sadly disappointed...not every store is created equal. They had nothing at all I was needing/interested in. Lime green, orange, 2x2's? LOL, the most unique thing was a bin of yellow seats for cars... I got the 'bike shop & cafe' so it wasn't a complete wasted trip, and I got a balloon cart free too...

Well, experimenting, it seems to be a Mac/Firefox problem, I logged in OK using Windows/IE and Firefox. Arghh, why am I not surprised its Mac specific! LOL update...Its Mac and Firefox problem, I can use Safari and it works OK...weird.. All I wanted to do was check my VIP points! LOL

No, I've made about a dozen small parts orders from BrickLink, nothing I would call a super deal. Outside of one kook playing games with an order currently, I've had no problems. I've never ordered more than one of any particular set at one time either. Only thing I can think of is that I placed 2 orders a couple days apart, and have already received the first order. It's all just odd I am having trouble. I would be upset too if I wanted to get something as a gift and ordered it in plenty of time and it got delayed like that.

I subscribed too, I want to see more of the technic type building. I think too it is a smaller subset of Lego fans. As a user, not a producer, I don't even read the comments, I have seen how bad/mean/stupid a lot of people can be... I like how you organized your channel, its easy to use.

It came out in 2012, so makes sense its about to retire, I think all the sets 2+ years old are getting near the end... -
They are hinged to open up, so the roof isn't going to come off like on a modular, you would have to change a few parts. Take a look at some of the YouTube video reviews, it shows them pretty well.

I got the City set Museum Break in, (60008) for about $22 off the regular price from Amazon.com. I wanted it to go with my Town Square, which has the bus advert on its side for the museum, and the bus stop sign has a reference to it too. Oh and the Lego version of the painting 'Girl with the pearl earring' ;-)

I don't want to start a new topic, but I've been patiently (well...maybe a little impatiently LOL) waiting for an order I placed with S@H over 5 days ago, and it's still showing 'customer service' as the status. I've called and asked about it and got a 'we're really busy with a lot of orders' excuse, and there were no problems showing for it. I didn't order any of the new sets either. I'm curious if anyone else is in the same situation. I've not had this happen before.

I've only been to my closest store twice, in Pleasanton, CA. I've had good luck with the service. I'm planning another visit this week, to try out the pick a brick, now that I have a project MOC I want to build. I hope they have parts I can use. I've watched a few videos on cup filling strategies... Lol.

I got my Ghostbusters set yesterday, and on the back cover of the book, shouting win kid... I guess they got printed a while ago to still have the kid and not something new.

I agree, some get busy and forget to do it, and some do it periodically, it mirrors ebay like that I think. You definitely can tell the sellers that are on the ball though, nice deal from start to finish. I have started a 'best not use' list for myself of certain sellers. I will wait till end of month and see how things go, if the ones that haven't given any feedback still haven't, I will send a kind reminder.

I went through the work to input all of my collection into Basebrick, and it was a little difficult. I had to enter a lot of it manually, but it was quick to add all the BrickLink orders. I left off things I have given away as gifts, so its pretty accurate for what I have currently. It comes to 30 sets and a grand total of 35,916 pieces. It should go up again if I ever get my last order processed!

I just saw on Brickset that they are adding a 'Fairground Mixer Collection (5003588) which includes a motor and battery with the set. I thought all along that should of been the way it came. Its not on S@H in the USA yet, the UK price is £149.99.

Really nice job, very polished! All the interior work is so interesting to look at, see how you did it. I bet it took more than 2 sets to build.

I am regretting a S@H order I placed 4 days ago, and its stuck in 'customer service' limbo, and now its the weekend, so it will sit there for another 2 days. I called to find out if there was a problem, and they said they just have so many orders, etc. and they gave me express shipping for free..but its still sitting there. I wonder if the customer service people there know or do anything right. I find it hard to believe that it could take this long, even with the heavy demand. I didn't order anything newly released either. I am not a new customer either, I know that takes an extra day or so.

My local stores barely have any of the new sets, I've found my best deals on amazon mostly, for some City sets.
