I counted and I've got 12 orange and 1 green one. They put one in all the bigger sets. They have them to buy I noticed for $2.49.

The July calendar (USA) does say there will be a whole new selection for July in PAB. I will need to go see too..

I've sort of borrowed the dining table for the time being, I have my town arranged in a block layout, with an alley space in the center, its easy to reach over the buildings. On the other end, it turns into a City area, with a town square I moc'ed. When my modular townhouse is finished, I am going to add it in. I've had it there for a couple months, and its just now showing a little dust. I have wiped a few areas, but it doesn't really show too much. I am a little more concerned with UV yellowing the bricks, the skylight above the table might be good light, but has a price!

Of the sets I have, they nearly all have female minifigs.. the Town Square has a female street sweeper, the Garbage truck has a female truck driver, the Ambulance has a female EMT...good grief.. I think this set would be a good buy for all the glassware parts, for me.. :-)

I agree, a big laundry tub of detergent water, let it sit there for a while then rinse and repeat! Haha..yuck. I am currently soaking a bunch of yellowed white parts I got on BrickLink, they didn't tell me how bad they were... :(

I just noticed that the Grand Emporium is listed as 'sold out' now on S@H. At least here in the USA.

I was curious about opinions of which is better, using BrickLink to buy parts for MOCs or BrickOwl. I have only used BrickLink so far, but just created an account with BrickOwl. I think BL has a much larger user base, but I like how much better BO looks visually and might be easier to navigate. I need to look at price comparisons to see if there is a difference, or parts availability. I wonder if there are sellers who have stores on both sites.

I took a trip to the 2nd closest store to me (60mi. one way), and got some nice door frames, in white, which I needed...but they were completely out of doors to go with them. I got a lot of tile pieces, for future ideas, some window frames and glass, 3x4x1 size. Lot of other small bits, to fill up the cup. I got some of the dark red 1x2s too... 1x4 tiles in brown, I know I can use those.

I finally got my 'Pick a Brick' order, took 20 days to get here...I am in California, from Poland.

I don't think I ever stopped liking Lego from when I was a kid, I never thought of myself as an AFOL I guess...I just hung on to my old bricks and sets, now I have the time and can get back into it, I think its great. I wouldn't hide that I am buying something for myself.. I'm 51 now!

I have finally gotten enough parts to start building my first MOC it been a challenge to get the right parts, and its currently waiting for more parts to arrive to continue. So far, its been fun, but I have run into several roadblocks, I should of seen before now! The main ones have to do with what colors are available for certain parts, the biggest being the arches I wanted to use. The sizes I need are not available in the dark orange color. I could of sworn they were, but with LDD, you can't rely on the color being there and the parts actually existing to buy. Oh well, all part of the learning/fun with Lego. I am enjoying it a lot. Don't ask my wallet's opinion though! I have already diverged from my design, by moving the entire house back from the street one stud, which just makes it able to be attachable to the other modulars. I had to change the foundation wall colors to gray from the dark orange, mainly to make the steps blend better, since some of the parts in those are also not available in dark orange color either. I also have added an additional bay to the side near the rear, to enlarge the kitchen space. I am not sure about that yet, its in flux... The empty space to the right of the house will be a walled garden, with the far side incorporating the attachment points to another modular building. I am currently waiting for a BL order or two to install the floor tiles, before I can go too much further, and also the large center window parts, which are hard to find too...another small problem... All the bricks in the background in the boneyard are from a town hall set. That's the top of the bell tower from the TH, just playing around, like a gazebo...LOL Cheers!

There is always the 'while supplies last' caveat.. I got one this week when I bought something at the Lego store near me. I should be getting one also in the S@H order I placed..weeks ago, finally should arrive today, I hope.

My niece is 11 and loves all the Emma related Friends sets. She also loves to play Minecraft, so I have been getting those for her as gifts. All her friends go straight to the Minecrafts when they come over I hear too...

I got the Highway Pickup set a few weeks ago, and put it together in the main configuration, (its a 3 in 1 Creator set) but felt it looked a little off. To me, it was way too short a truck for the size of the cab. It also had a really steep angle to the flatbed when loading a car onto it, in its original configuration. So I decided to make it a little longer. I added a 4 x 12 plate to the back end of the flatbed, and reinforced it underneath to handle the extra length. I am still a little unhappy with how it looks, the wheelbase is a little short still, but I'm not going to mess with that part of it. It looks good enough now for me. I can even haul the Palace Cinema limo on it. The truck is a little bit oversize for minifies maybe?!

I got the wheelbase extended as far as it can go, without changing parts, its a little unstable like this, but it works. I think its about right.

I could have a coffee, maybe a beer, depends on the time of day. I'm not sure if it makes me any more creative, it's more relaxing mostly, time just flies by when I'm working on something.

Really nice, I like the hobo in the alley too...the old broken down sofa is great ;)

My store is sad (Pleasanton, CA), it had nothing but basic bricks and I think yellow seat parts..I left without buying anything. I asked and the only interesting thing they had in the back were some trans blue tiles..they were surprised they had that! I could find nothing in a color I could use...

I must admit, I look on the boxes of the sets I buy and look for the country of origin for the parts, more and more have China included...I am always suspect of those parts. I've had more sets have extra pieces than missing parts, not including the usual extras. I think they just assume the customer will lose some of the smallest parts. Outside of my Fire Brigade missing an entire bag, I can't complain. I think, at least for the USA customer service, they might not have enough training. I have gotten a lot of misinformation from them. From telling me to create a new ID when my VIP card was lost in the mail, to saying they cancelled an unneeded replacement part order, and then having it sent anyway. They are generous with giving perks for inconveniences though, I must say.

Those are the city corner buildings, not the town square set, though both have a bike shop and pizza joint. Nice job with the park.

I just saw this thread, but it reminded me of my Haunted House set, it had a broken bag as well, with about half of its contents spilled out inside the box. I didn't have anything missing, there was one extra 1x2 brick in the green color. You don't usually get that as an extra piece. Also, I made a pick a brick order, and it's on it's way here now. The tracking I got has it being shipped from Poland. So I think all the PAB orders come out of that Lego location regardless of where the order was placed.

I sent an email through the 'contact us' page on the site, then the email 'anything else' category. Then explained the problem in the message. It took a day or so to get a reply.

Photobucket is free, its drag and drop easy to use.

I got an email from tech support about the problem, and they said everything seems to be working OK to them, checking it out. I replied back explaining how it is a certain OS/browser combination causing the problem. Makes sense to me that Mac OS and Linux are related, both are having problems.
