So is the Johnny Thunder one fake too? This is a good suggestion list! Will Mixels be slightly too big for this scale? Well if anything, that keeps consistency with some of these licenses' past LEGO TT games and makes the (assumingly still) completely LEGO TLM world unique and special. -

Pretty sure that's the Daily Planet. Does seem possible, so let's see! How is Jurassic World unlikely? LEGO has the license and one of Universal's other properties (BttF) made it in, plus if it means anything, you can see what might be a JW dinosaur LEGO figure on the bookshelf in the extended cut: (around 2:31) If I were to have two "solid" guesses, I'd go with that and Scooby Doo. Could the bottom third from the left and top second from the left be Bart and Homer respectively? Well Warner Bros. and its other licenses were already on board in a major way so why not include another negotiable license of theirs? Mix things up and surprise everyone with appearance that wasn't even a LEGO license initially in the first place! How'd ya figure? Can you prove that? Is it because Columbia Pictures may not be listed in the copyright on the website? -

I assume this would be the reason why those Ideas projects were rejected, but that's just my guess. The TLM Star Wars cameo was something they started negotiating before Disney bought Lucasfilm, so that could be even harder. I also see a dinosaur on his shelf... Ghostbusters was already part of the teasers... -
Female characters you want to see in the next LEGO Movie!

http://www.huffingto..._n_5124829.html Great news! It really pleases me to hear they're addressing could-be-better representation of women the first movie arguably had. :3 So, just for fun, what pre-existing LEGO characters would you like to see in the next LEGO Movie? Here are some of my ideas: (More of) Wonder Woman Fabuland Representatives (like Bonnie Bunny, it'll be funny to see whether they 'count' or not) Ann Lee and the Vampyre/Zombie Brides from Monster Fighters CM's Cheerleader and the (for some reason controversial?) Female Scientist Simpsons Representatives Have fun! -

I also got a Geoffrey Giraffe polybag for a fiver at one of the UK TRU.

I'm assuming it may have been because they were trying to hide the Matoran/Toa maskless faces for whatever reason. -

How would you change gender of a spider in a MOC? -
I got this all for £13.75 from an in-door car boot. Mazeka was £4, Nidhiki was £2, the keyring was 25p and the rest were around £1.50 each or so. It feels nice to have some 01 Rahi and at fractions of what their regular price would be. :3

Funnily enough, there were actually a few MU beings in TLR in the opening; those being the Matoran in the robot. And please, I bet there's more than enough examples of 2D animation that's dated now (perhaps most early Flash for example). Heck, the animation on the Toa in the recent Masks of Power trailer actually looks really flat and stiff. -

Quite simply, what is the LEGO line that is the absolute least LEGO-like? For starters, Galidor's a prime candidate as many LEGO fans will tell you, as it was simply action figures that were only "construction" in how the limbs could be taken apart (which had the "beams" LEGO System, or whatever it's called). But it at least had some kind of (physical) LEGO connection of some sort in more or less every set. Is it the absolute least LEGO-like? Scala was initially LEGO themed jewelry that still kept the classic system, but when they brought it back it became essentially just dolls with separate LEGO elements thrown in at the side that weren't even being attached to anything, and when there was classic construction it was a different "flower-shaped" system than usual. Explore had some LEGO-ish sets in the Duplo ones they put out, but they also had a lot of what was essentially simple baby toys that weren't (physically) connectable to LEGO at all. Primo was still a construction system, but a partially incompatible and oversimplified one at that. Znap took a new Knex ripoff system, but it still utilized Technic. So what is the ultimate non-LEGOish LEGO line? (I'd put in a poll, but I not only lack enough posts, but also might miss a suggestion).

They have plenty of pin and axle connections, the former you can fit classic studs in. Sure, it's not always the best looking construction and I don't know whether it's "legal" or not, but it still counts. -
I have two incomplete not counting Takutanuva, but no.

Comparing the Xalax and RC Racers is tricky; the former seem like they're essentially extremely <insert that tiresome argument> system, while the latter is closer to an actual building process at the expense of having any remotely system-related parts! -

A local Sainsbury's of mine has the S12 Minifigures for £2 (usually £2.50). I felt them out and got a Pig Suit Guy!

Specialized highly-detailed parts and Bionicle in the same sentence? That's weird. You gotta remember, otherwise they're doing pretty good at keeping it unspecialised. So, do you mean the gear system implementation? Because it's actually the first time we've had both extended poseability and gear functions. And aren't the arms already fully poseable on the shoulders or can they not move outwards to the sides? Plus we already have visible gears on the back, and we're perhaps kind of lucky we're getting gear functions at all. -
Sometime this month I got off eBay (for £20 + £4 shipping) a "small" collection of Bionicles. While there were two or so knockoffs, managing to get mostly complete Roodaka, Krekka, Nidhiki, Turaga Dume & Nivawk, Rorzakh, Keerakh and Morak, as well as spares of Takanuva, Vorzakh, Bordakh, '03 Matoro, Vezok, Thok, Dekar, Defilak, Kongu Inika, Matoro Inika, Nuvhok and Pahrak and numerous other parts (both to complete other sets/models and other purposes) was, really quite a steal to say the least.
